Gender: Male

Description: What most people see is a man of obvious oriental descent, black hair, brown eyes, and clad in a simple white robe and sandals. This man also wears a necklace of prayer beads, and perhaps only a few notice that three of the beads are different from the others. The same size and color as the rest, the only difference between these and the rest of the beads are the kanji engraved on them. The symbols for blue, red, and white are engraved in their respective colors, and these beads are rarely in the same spot twice.

However, what most people see is a lie, an illusion created not by one, but three kitsune. A trio of brothers too fond of each other to part ways.

Shiroi is the largest of the trio, tall enough to be almost at eye level with the average human. If it weren't for his size, he would be the most normal looking of the brothers, his thick white fur giving him a close resemblance to arctic foxes. His size often gives the impression that he's the oldest of the brothers.

Akane is almost as tall as his brother Shiroi, but his shorter fur makes him seem much smaller. Akane is the only one of the trio to have multiple tails. His nine tails may make those familiar with Japanese legends think he is the oldest. His fur is white like Shiroi's, shading to an orange-red hue on his legs, ears, and tails.

Aoiro is the most unusual of the trio, his fur a deep blue color, reminiscent of the night sky, and patterned with streaks of lighter blue, and the same orange-red that adorns Akane's coat. Aoiro is also the smallest of the brothers, standing barely at shoulder level to Shiroi. He's much slimmer than the other two kitsune as well.

Mental Stats
Though the trio is don't always reveal themselves to other people, those who know them, know their personalities are as different as their appearances. These differences often spawn arguments and squabbles between them, which are invariably resolved quickly after arising.

Shiroi is much quieter than the other two, the most dignified of the three, and often far more reserved. Possessed of an immense curiousity, the kitsune takes any opportunity to sit and listen, watch, and observe new things. Because of this, he is often the last to jump into a situation, and is often the mediator in Akane and Aoiro's disputes, though the duo frequently drag him into the squabble despite his efforts to remain impartial.

Aoiro is the quintessential prankster, always on the lookout for new opportunities for his antics. Though he can be just as quiet and just as good a listener as Shiroi, the fox often does so simply for the chance of figuring out a great new prank to pull on whoever he's watching. The kitsune also has something of a short temper, and this is the source of many an argument between himself and his brothers. However, he genuinely cares for his brothers, and though he takes a while to warm up to others, his loyalty is every bit as steadfast as Akane and Shiroi's. Though impatient and often devious, Aoiro has never been deliberately cruel, even to the victims of his pranks. He would just as soon lay down his life for his brothers' as they would for him.

The last brother, Akane, is far more outgoing than the others. He's always the first to stick his nose into new situations, always the first to get tired of waiting for Shiroi to make a decision. He's also exceedingly bold, having no problem whatsoever with jumping in to help a total stranger. It's gotten them in and out of trouble frequently enough to get him in trouble with his brothers. He's also the quickest to get caught up in Aoiro's trouble making, though his compassion for others often drives him to interfere, thus triggering most of the bickering between himself and his smaller brother.

They share a few traits as well. All three are proud of their looks, though Akane sometimes takes this right into narcissistic levels. The trio also share a certain level of compassion for others, though Aoiro much likes to deny it in favor of keeping his trickster reputation intact.

Abilities:
Aside from the ability to merge into a false form of a human male, each brother can become an individual human male, though they seem to prefer the merged form.

All three are telepathic, able to communicate with each other no matter the distance. With others, there are definite limits to the telepathy, and they tend to stick to verbal communication with others, saving the telepathy for close friends.

Akane and Aoiro are telekinetics as well, although Aoiro makes far more frequent use of this ability than Akane does. Shiroi has an ability to heal.

Aside from this, the kitsune possess no other powers.

In combat, the three each have their own particular style of fighting. Shiroi is a purely physical fighter, and, once roused to battle fury, has no problem with using his size to his advantage, as he's larger than the average wolf, and quite a bit heavier, thanks to all that fur.

Akane uses a mix of physical and telekinetic techniques, switching between the two often with no warning, and even utilizing both at the same instance at times.

Aoiro, however, avoids physical violence entirely, preferring to keep his enemies at a distance with his telekinesis, and even using his telepathy to batter their minds until they either surrender or flee.

However, all three brothers much prefer to avoid conflicts
