A faded, tall man who covers his broad frame in clothes as terrible as they are baggy, Carver is quite simply a nice guy (which is why it's terrible that Guinevere happened to him; also consider what type of man would name a tiny child Guinevere Ursula). He has the tendency towards being a**l and fussy, but this is mainly out of some misplaced sense of responsibility to the world and everything around him -- Carver was born with a World's Hero complex, a slightly patronizing desire to whiteknight, a perpetual worrywart in the bargain.

He's a humble, retiring, quite shy individual to the point of being awkward, with a career of being ex-military and the sincere belief that kindness will cure everything. He is the type of man the SPCA hates because he is always picking up tiny baby birds who will inevitably die and giving them to the shelter. He believes girls need tender love and that boys need firm father figures.

Carver enjoys cooking well and fishing badly.
