▬ ƧȶσƦɤ ▬

Back in their childhood years, ten friends hung out together ever since they were babies. They were always together. Never left each others side. That all changed one hot summer day when the angel boy drowned in Fate Lake. All the friends were around the age of 4 and 6 so they had little knowledge that there friend was actually drowning. Later that night, he was confirmed dead.

The children's parents freaked out about this and moved all there children away. None of the friends were able to say there goodbyes. Twelve years later, they are all back to visit the angel boy's grave. None have no idea that the rest of the gang is back as well. Will there be romance? What will the old friends do when they reunite? You decide, you have the keyboard..

However long the night, the dawn will break.

          BEEP, BEEP, BEEP!

          "GRAHH! NOOO!"

Elle quickly found herself lying flat on her back, but not on the comfortable surface she had fallen asleep on. She felt the cool wooden floor underneath her bared back, and on her thin legs. She had fallen out of bed; again. Letting a sigh escape her lips, she sat up and rubbed the back of her head with her right hand, looking around her room. Her screaming had alerted her rat, Claundestine, who was now running rampant in the cage, squeaking like there was no tomorrow. The fish in the fish tank were acting as normal as could be, as was Treasure, who sat in the bowl on her desk. Duke and Duchess didn't sleep in her room, so she didn't awaken them with her loud yelling. She wondered if she awoke her parents with her screaming, but she didn't really think much of it.

Elle pulled herself to her feet and straightened her boxers, as they had turned slightly in her sleep, and were a bit uncomfortable. She pulled down her black t-shirt and brushed her bangs out of her face, making herself somewhat presentable until she had her morning shower. She bent down and picked up her tan and white-striped comforter and threw it on the bed over her tan sheets messily; she'd make her bed properly later. Now, it was time for a shower. She walked over to her door and grabbed the white towel hanging on the back, and her pink puff hanging around her doorknob, and opened the door in the process. Elle walked out of her room and down the hall slightly, stopping to kick on her parent's door. "Wake up!!" she called out nonchalantly as she continued down the hall.

She walked to the bathroom and shut the door behind her, locking it so her cousins didn't walk in on her, as they had done before. She had been quite annoyed at that, they had just walked in on her without a care in the world. She had been in the shower, getting out of the shower, and drying her hair once. That last time she was naked, so they had gotten quite an eyeful of the body that seemed to drive men crazy. Well, the ones she slept with, anyways, but that was quite a large number. But now she had her Prince, even then.....She took great care of her body, she worked out to keep her weight down and ate health. She looked down at her stomach and poked it slightly, letting out a slight sigh. She didn't want to step on the scale and see how much she weighed, she just knew she'd have to work off a pound or two. She walked over to the shower and started the water, adjusting it to the setting she liked, before she stripped from her clothes and hopped into the shower.

It didn't take long for Elle to be finished with her shower. Twenty minutes, at the most, was all it took. She grabbed her white towel from the floor beside the shower, and took to towel drying her hair, and then wrapping it around her body, before she stepped out of the shower. She looked at herself in the slightly foggy mirror, blinking a bit at her makeup-less face. It was quite a rare sight to see, since she wasn't known for going out without makeup. She opened a drawer in the counter and pulled out a pink and green-striped case and opened it, revealing all her makeup. She had tons of eyeshadow, mascara, and eyeliner that she didn't even use, for all she used was a bit of eyeliner, mascara, and some lip gloss. It wasn't much, but without it she felt so naked. She quickly applied a tad of eyeliner, not too much and not too little. She then put a thick layer (or two) of mascara on, and them some pink lip gloss to finish it up. She put everything back in the case and then quickly brushed her teeth and walked out of the bathroom after picking up her clothes from the floor.

Elle walked into her room and shut the door behind her, before she put her clothes in her hamper and her makeup case on the bed. She walked over to her dresser and pulled out a pair of white lace undergarments, slipping them on before she opened another drawer, looking through some shirts she had inside. She decided on a pair of black soffee shorts, a black tank top with her name acorss the back, and her black furry slippers, and walked over to her door. She took one last glance of herself in the mirror before she grabbed her hairdryer and started drying her hair. It didn't take long, and once that was done, she made her hair a bit wavy and then ran out her bedroom door.

Down the hall and skipping a few steps later, and Elle found herself by the front door. She quickly ran into the kitchen and grabbed a muffin, before she ran to the stairs to go back to her room. Sitting in front of her desk, she chewed on her muffin, and loked out the window. It was weird being back here. She loved staying in her grandparent's house, but it didn't feel right here for some reason

Kathrine//Ashley//Cantolina

User Image"It's too early," came the complaint of what sounded like a thirteen-year-old girl from underneath the depths of an over-sized blanket. The reason a thick blanket like that on the first day of July was a mystery. Obviously it was much more enjoyable than the thought of waking up. A little bit of stirring came before complete silence. Absolutely no movement was made that showed the girl hiding in the depths of the sky blue blanket was still breathing.

With a slight involuntary rocking back an forth, the voice of another woman, much older in age cut through the silence. "Kathrine, start acting seventeen once in a while. The plane leaves in an hour." All of a sudden the young woman hiding beneath the covers shot up from the bed and quickly stood up, a bit dizzy at the quick movement. Quickly she recovered and began running across the room. Making it to the closet, Kathrine began searching through the clothes hanging up, throwing things on the floor every once in a while.

It seemed as though Kathrine had forgotten all about her mother and stepfather's aniversary. They were married on the fourth of July. How cute, right? Kathrine actually thought it was cheesy, but at least neither of them could forget. The date was actually a briliant idea. Well, Kathrine forgot, but that wasn't anything surprising. She was one who could forget her own birthday. Now Kathrine was running around the room, trying to get ready. She was to go to her Aunt Gale's house for a while. It was a pretty long drive there, but managable. Another plane ticket would have been way too expensive and would cut out a portion of the money her mother and stepfather had to spend on their vacation.

Honestly, Kathrine would much rather stay home, but her mother didn't trust to leave the house all to herself. Kathrine couldn't say that she blamed the woman. Still, Aunt Gale? First of all, she was old and creepy. She could be Kathrine's grandmother. Maybe she was Kathrine's mom's aunt. That was a possibility. Kathrine didn't really know. Secondly, it was back in her hometown. Now, that wasn't really a big deal. After all, Kathrine was five when she moved away, but there were big memories there. Most of them, Kathrine couldn't remember, but that one tragic day...

It didn't really matter. Kathrine had no choice but to follow her mother's wishes. Kathrine always had her little siblings for company. One was three, but that wasn't a big deal. The youngest sister was probably better than the ten-year-old sister. Either way, Kathrine could get through this little trip; maybe even finally get to say her good-byes. Maybe that's why, as much as she wanted to, Kathrine didn't complain about her mother choosing Aunt Gale to stay with.

Seeing her daughter getting ready, the older woman walked out of the room, leaving Kathrine to get dressed. Within five minutes, Kathrine stood in the mirror, blonde locks of curly hair seeming to attack her head. Long tan legs were shown off by a pair of Daisy Duke shorts, obviously cut from a pair of old jeans. She also wore a black tank top with the words 'Ithica is Gorges' in red capital letters across the front. It was simple enough; basically just things that she quickly grabbed and threw on. It looked great on her anyways. Next was the hair. Again, in another ten minutes of dumping everything you could possibly think of with a couple of bobbie pins to help, Kathrine's rats nest of hair was in long spirals down her back, reaching to the bottom of her shoulder blades. Some eyeliner, mascara, blush, lipgloss, and a light natural looking eyeshadow was added to hide the fact that she was exhusted and in zombie mode.

That was probably the fastest Kathrine had every gotten ready in her life since she was fourteen. It was a good thing she had only just forgotten the vacation over the hours of sleep. Usually she would take a shower to wake herself up in the morning. It would take about ten minutes of just standing there and letting the hot water pour down her back. It was her time of relaxing. Knowing that, Kathrine decided to take one the night before; otherwise she would have to have gotten up much earlier. That wasn't in Kathrine's best interests.

With a satisfactory smile, Kathrine headed towards the bathroom to brush her teeth and then headed downstairs. Her sisters were sitting on the couch; a blue suitcase and a barbie suitcase beside that stood upright infront of the two girls. Her mother and stepfather headed out the door, leaving the three of them alone. Heading towards the kitchen, Kathrine grabbed a box of cereal bars and juice boxes. "All right, get in the car," Kathrine ordered, grabbing the barbie suitcase for her littlest sister. "Sam, can you carry these for me." The little girl, with a bright smile on her face, took the snacks and headed out the door. On her way out, Kathrine also took the handle of dark purple suitcase. Somehow all three suitcases fit in the back of Kathrine's car, and they were on their way down the highway.

User ImageEven for a girl as strange as Anastasia, things were pretty odd. She hadn't been to her Aunt's home in years. She had refused to come back for many reasons. Her mother's sister was far too practical A tight wad, wearing pant suits and refusing to allow her children out of her sight of a mere moment. her life was as constrained as a mouse being held by a boa constrictor. Ana really couldn't understand this sort of lifestyle. she had spent most of her life in a van, and would go days without coming home. Her parents were usually too blazed to notice or care in the least.

Of course, there was an entirely different reason as well. Her aunt resided in Ana's home town. the place where she had once belonged to a group of insuperable friends. a place filled with distant memories. The very same place where her best of friends had died. she had never looked back. Not once, until now. She felt she needed closure. She had to see him one last time, to ask for forgiveness so she could finally move on with her life.

Yes, this was a rather strange visit indeed. Her Aunt didn't really care for Anastasia, and had only agreed to her staying if she would behave and not drag her cousins into some of her crazy antics. Anastasia agreed, but with no promises of course. She was not going to wear this a**l retentive woman keep her from exploring her full potential during the visit.

As usual, she had gone a bit over the top. Her outfit was entirely ebony. Her deep thoughtful eyes were traced with charcoal eyeliner, and her face was mostly shielded by a netted veil.l. she truly resembled someone straight out of an old silent movie. Obviously, attending a funeral. She passed through the kitchen of her beloved Aunt's home. A solemn look plastered upon her pixie shaped face.

"good morning?
" the woman stated, a questionable look to match her tone. "A morning it is, but good it is not. Today is a big day for all of us, I should think you'd show some respect and not taunt me with your goods and what not" Ana sent the woman a brief glare, before patting her youngest cousin on the head ever so gently. " I really must be going, the shadowing will change and I wont be able to get any good pictures if I stick around" The woman shook her head. Obviously to her, the young girl seemed insane to say the least. "right, well keep in touch..don't get lost..have a nice..I mean..just, be safe"

For a moment the thought of hugging her aunt goodbye crossed Ana's mind. However, the remembrance of her ancient cannon camera which was hanging around her neck like an oversize necklace quickly brought a change of mind. She simply sent the woman a nod, and headed straight for the door.

She really wasn't planning on wasting much time. The memories all around this place were far too heavy of a burden to Cary. She simply headed out into the cool street and began walking towards the cemetery. Her sleek black shoes echoed loudly off of the pavement below. She couldn't imagine what her old friends were doing at this very moment. Perhaps, unlike her, they ahd forgotten. Oh she wished that much for them. She really didn't see herself fit to be remembered, just a queer child whom was a mystery to all.

However long the night, the dawn will break.

Elle isghed as she stared out th ewindow. Maybe today was a good day to go see the grave. She sighed as she srteched, dusting the crumbs adn wrapper into the wastebasket. Sighing, she picked up her rat and petted the thing. She knew that he was gonna go soon one day. She sighed and set him back in his pen, and stood up. Going to her suitcases, she unzipped them and searched for some clothes. Finding a pair of light blue jeans, she stripped down, and put those on. She then pulled on a light blue tank top, and then a white zip up shirt over that. She pulled the hood on over her light blonde hair. When she was yonger, it was brown, but when she hit bout twleve, her hair started to become lighter. She was a blonde by the age of eleven.

Grabbing her shoes, she slipped them on, heading down the stairs. Grabbing a leather collar and a polyester leash she gave a short whistle. Her large rotweiller Duke ran barking. She smiled and then put his collar and leash on, Come on boy, lets go take a walk she said as ahe opened the door. When she stepped out, she felt a flash back.

Giselle and her friends are sitting on the porch. Everyone was perched somewhere, eating posicles. Giselel was dressed in her typical tutu, black leggings, and black shirt, her worn out black "ballet shoes" were wrapped around her neck, and she had her hair up, her muddy brown hair in a weird style she said was fabulous. She was leaning against the same post as her best friend was. It was later that day when they would never see their friend again

Giselle shook her head, she had no idea why that came up. She sighed as she started to walk towards the graveyard. She sighed as she looekd aorund, no one was around. She stepped into the large cemetery. The place always gave her creeps. She put her hands in her pocket, the leash attached to her wrist. Sighing, she pulled out a piece of gum. She smiled and took the gum out, chewing it. She then started to fold the paper until it melded into a heart. Smiling, she stopped in front of a large headstone, an angel on top, looking down. She took the gum out, and pressed it to the back of the heart. She then pressed it down, corner of the headstone, and stared down. She wished she could turn back time. Sinking onto the gras, she let the leash go, knowing Duke would come back. She sighed as she pulled her knees to her chest, her blonde hair blowing in the small breeze

+++++++++++++++++++The lonely road felt as though it would never end. Markus walked with a bounce in his step, a guitar on his back, and a distant stare. Step after step, field of grass after field of grass, Markus was on his way to reunite himself with the friend who's death bettered him. The torment of witnessing a friend die as a young child was not fun or enjoyable, but experiences in life make a person out to be more passionate about the things they love. Such as singing and playing songs. Markus had no idea what had become of the other friends that were there that fateful day, but he figured he would never see them again. It was up to him to pay his respects to the boy that changed him forever. This boy deserved it. Without even trying, he helped Markus want to better himself and live life the best he knew how. It was amazing how large of an impact that incident made on him and how he just realized it's effects.

+++++++++++++++++++Walking down that road gave Markus quiet a bit of time to think. There was no way he could pay for the gas for all that way, cars wouldn't pick up bikers, and walking seemed like such a reflective experience. One in which he might draw some lyrics from, or possibly meet someone fascinating. ♪ I've got the road beneath my feet, ♪ Markus began with a light and soothing tone in his singing. ♪ Da da, da da. ♪ He continued on with a smile knowing he had no clue what the other lyrics could be. ♪ Dat da da, da da. ♪ A came into view, and Markus's eyes lit up. He shot his thumb up in the air, but the car just swerved around him. Markus released a big sigh. ”Wow.” The smile continued on along with the bounce in his step. A soft swaying of the head proceeded to occur as he hummed the tune in his head.

+++++++++++++++++++After much more walking, Markus spotted another car in the distance. He was ecstatic to see a guy driving a truck a woman leaning over the bed. ”Hello, crazy.” The smile on his face widened as he said those words. They obviously didn't hear his mumbling, because they pulled over to pick him up. Markus headed to the back as he was instructed, and gratefully nodded his head to the driver. ”Much appreciated.” He called out to him. The driver was a stiff, but the girl eying him in the back seemed pleasant enough. Markus flopped himself into the bed of the truck and smiled to the younger lady. After telling her where he was headed, she got an interested look on her face. He couldn't help but notice the excitement in her voice. ”What're you headed there for?” The girl's voice was projected and confident in the rushing winds as they coasted down the long road. ”An old friend of mine was buried there. I'm just paying a visit.” Her face sunk into a pout after he spoke. ”Well, my daddy and I live down there should you have no place to go.” Her father glared back at the two of them, unaware of the conversation at hand. ”Thats alright. I don't think he would be fond of that idea. Besides, I've got enough for one night in town.” Markus smiled reassuringly.

+++++++++++++++++++The conversation rolled on to many different topics. Several of which had only to do with Markus. It wasn't that he wanted to talking about himself and not her, she was just asking so many questions directed to him. Markus was finding it difficult to fit in a few for her. The situation seemed innocent enough, but her father kept looking back none the less. ”Your parents must be cool since they let you hitchhike way out here. My dad would murder me.” She smiled thoughtfully. The girl was lucky to even sit in the back of the truck. Markus laughed to himself. This confused her a great deal. ”What is so funny?” A curious smile crossed her face as she waited for Markus to explain. ”Well my mother and father aren't exactly cool. They let me do things, which is nice, but they are so awkward.” Markus confirmed in his head that awkward was the right word. All he had to do was think of what they looked like. Cats from the sixties like his family were just so out of place nowadays.

+++++++++++++++++++♪ Da da, da da. Dat da da, da da. ♪ Markus sang when the conversation finally settled. He noticed she had a surprised look on her face when he turned back around. ”That was good. What song?” Markus smiled as he was asking himself the exact same question. ”I don't know... I haven't made it yet.” A rush of understand and more interest overcame the girl. ”Ohh, you came up with that?” Markus simply nodded and the two of them stared into each other's eyes. He looked away as he sensed her father staring back at him. The truck came to a stop, and Markus inhaled deeply. ”Looks like I get off here. It was nice talking to you.” Markus stepped onto the rim of the truck and leaped down to the hard cement. With a half wave, and a crooked grin, he departed from his newly made friend. She hadn't even said her name, which confused him because Markus didn't think he was all too interesting.

+++++++++++++++++++Markus spun to get a good look at his surroundings. It wasn't all like he remembered it to
be, but it was familiar enough for him to know where lodging was. After checking into a room, Markus headed by Fate
Lake and started strumming his acoustic guitar. He did this a lot at home, but it was so much more heartfelt knowing
a friend died here. Markus's eyes closed as he got into the light motions of his wrist and the flowing melody. He would
have started singing if he wasn't so concentrated on creating the right sound. Markus was just way into the guitar
at the moment, but he made sure not to play it loudly. This was obviously a public place, and no one cared if a friend
of his died.

Elle sighed as she got up. Giving a short whistle, she heard Duke come out from the trees, obviously wet from the lake. Smiling, she picked up his leash, sopping from hte shoreline. "Lets head to the lake" she said as she slipped his leash off. Smiling, she ran after her dog, before long arriving at the dock. She smiled as she knew there were a fwe docks, the other way down the other side. She leaned against it, watching her dog play in the shoreline. She threw out a few sticks, and he went to go chase them. Leaning against the Dock, she decided to edge further out. Sighing, she closed her eyes, gripping the railing. She peered into the water, her breathing becomign a little shakey. She backed up, sinking onto the dock ,the smell of fish and bird crap filling her nose. She smiled sadly, when she heard a song off in the distance.

Standing up, she closed her eyes, sinking in the music. She smiled when she felt her dog at her side again. sighing, she opened her eyes and threw the stick out into the water. The dog leapt happily in, splashing her. She laughed as she listened to the music, she wondered who it was. Whistling, she called Duke to her side. She wrapped the leash about her waist and they were off. When they were a few yards away, Duke took off, barking. Giselle followed him, her shoes sinking into the soft shore. She ran after him, seeing him run further, off towards the music

She grabbed the leash and pulled it out, latching it onto Duke's collar. +++++++++++++++++++Markus heard some whiling in the distance. He continued to strum as he looked up to see who else was at the lake. Markus hummed lightly as he scanned the lake's terrain. When he came across the girl, he was some what interested. Although he found it sickening considering he was playing for his dead friend. How could he possibly check out a girl right then? But she is kind of cute. As Markus kept playing, he heard rapid foot steps in the distance. He figured it was her dog. Mainly because they were the only two around, and she couldn't run fast enough to make it sound like four feet were hitting the ground. Markus's eyes slowly drifted upward to see the dog, and was shocked to see it heading right for him. The music stopped in an instant as it “attacked” him with kisses.

+++++++++++++++++++A light laugh slipped out from Markus's lips. He then smiled with his mouth closed. As much as he would have loved to show his teeth, there was no way he was letting this strange lick the inside of his mouth. That would just be both disgusting and disturbing. Mark set his guitar to the side so it wouldn't get stomped all over. Also, now it wasn't a distraction between him and the girl. ”I am soooo sorry.” Markus simply smiled as it didn't bother him a whole lot. This wasn't supposed to be a stressful and morbid moment. Markus came here to let go and get some material in. Also to pay his respects, but that didn't mean no talking with cute girls he didn't know.

+++++++++++++++++++Now that Markus saw her up close, he was beginning to think he had seen her someplace before. ”He normally isn't this friendly around strangers...” Once the dog settled down and was put on a leash, Markus decided it was all right to speak. In the back of his mind, he tried to solve the mystery. ”It's really okay.” He grinned reassuringly so she wouldn't feel so terrible. Markus understood dogs. Hell, he owned quiet a few in the past. Markus opened his mouth to ask if he knew her, but was quickly interrupted by the dog barking. His head shot to the ground as he broke out into laughter. Why was the dog so instant upon meeting him? Markus reached both of his hands out to the poor, tied up dog. He rigorously scratched between his ears and made his way down the dog's neck. ”Duke?” Markus looked up at the owner with gleaming eyes. That was such a typical dog's name, but it some how suited this dog. It said playful, outgoing, lovable, and dangerous all in one.

+++++++++++++++++++As the owner started to slip away from him, he realized he hadn't figured her out just yet. ”Uhmm...” Markus stuttered hesitantly, figuring she wasn't paying attention to his mumbling. He began to project his voice so he wouldn't be talking to himself. ”Wait.” Markus waited for her to turn around before he would speak anymore, and eventually got on with the point of him stopping her. ”Have we...” His eyes trailed up to her face and he gave her a curious half smile that showed a hint of confusion. ”Have we met before?” In his mind, Markus questioned why he stressed the incorrect word. It hardly made it sound like a question at all. In fact, if she was a complete critic, she would know that made him sound like an idiot. Hopefully she wasn't that type of girl, and Markus was just over thinkin git all

+++++++++++++++++++Temptation to pick up his guitar and start playing again clung to his brain. As much as he wanted to, he wanted to find out if they had met even more. Which was odd, considering music was everything to Markus. He reached his hand out wondering if she thought this was some way to pick up on her. But it wasn't. Markus truly felt like they've met. ”I'm Markus.” The smile transformed into something a little unsure. Markus Wayne Ravon, what are you doing? This isn't a way to impress her. Go back to singing. She'd like that. Markus wanted to roll his eyes at his thoughts, but decided against it so she wouldn't get the wrong idea. He was really starting to feel like he had to turn up the confidence for this one. Suppose we haven't met. How am I supposed to recover from that one? "Oh, sorry. You looked familiar." The idea was just so cliché he could hardly stand it. This was no way to make an impression. Being like everyone in the movies was not an option.
