Psitanium is a psychoreactive mineral coveted by many people, psychic and non-psychics alike, not for the monetary gain but the power boost a large supply is sure to give. In reference to money, the average piece of Psitanium is worth about one quarter in American tender but a handful can give you the psychic boost you're looking for. Due to their average size and worth, most items may seem expensive but if you have the right contacts you should do just fine.

Some items may only be available to certain ranks; this is because the Psitanium Black Market isn't exclusive to the school, it ranges all across the country and maybe even the world. Depending on who you see, prices may be higher or lower, but it might be the only way for you to get certain items. When attending Majesco Psychic Academy, be sure to keep your black market dealings secret 'cause Majesco Academy certainly doesn't condone it!

There's a lot of different ways to earn Psitanium, most being absolutely free, but the main way is to be active; if you're an active poster in the thread, RPs and your journal, you'll probably be awarded with a random number of Psitanium bits for your inventory. Occasionally there will be raffles held in thread for large amounts of Psitanium, all of which are free. Of course, if you really just have to have some Psitanium RIGHT NOW, you could give the mule some money; 500g per piece.

Smelling Salts can come in handy pretty early on, for lots of different things. Technically, they're not allowed at the school without a note from a doctor but there's nothing medical about them. One sniff while inside of a mental world and you'll be booted out, no problem! Excellent if you can't seem to astral project your way out of there, or you just want to discretely skip out of that lesson.

Dream Fluffs

Ever feel kind of sick when you use your powers? Well, Dream Fluffs are about as close to an "instant remedy" as you can get. Of course, the staff want you to just run over to Nurse Lacy instead but why subject yourself to nausea AND second hand smoke?! You can take these with you into mental worlds, too, and can be used like a good old energy bar. Except it's a piece of candy. Fluffy candy. Mmm...

PSI Energy Colorizer

The color of your thought bubble getting you down? Feel like your PSI Punch just isn't as cool looking as it used to be? With the PSI Energy Colorizer, you can change the color of any of your psychic powers from PSI Punch, PSI Blast, Levitation or even the color of your fire! Majesco Academy doesn't approve because "they like you the way you are" but screw it! If you don't look cool while using your powers, what's the point!?

Alright, so it's not really an item and not something relevant ICly, but there's a couple of you students who have pets and that's the closest thing to Familiars you're gonna get in this setting. Give us the right amount of arrowheads and you can get a picture of your student's pet to pretty up their journal and provide a good reference to for roleplays. We'll try to make it purrfect.

Inks, Dyes and Piercings

Again, not really an item but if you find the right person you could totally hand them some psitanium and they'll hook you up with tattoos, piercings and maybe even a haircut and dye job. Basically, this is for if you win a student but you end up not liking some of their changeable features. If it's complicated (particularly hair) then we apologize, but your requested edits won't show up until the next stage. Simple things like a pierced ear/nose or a quick tattoo, though, can easily be fixed.

Technically, you're not supposed to get a Psycho-portal until you're a full fledged Psychonaut, but if you put the right amount of Psitanium in the right place, you can cheat the system. And why not? Unfortunately this Psycho-portal is standard issue, an 'everyman' sort, so you still won't get a customized one until you're a higher rank but at least you get to sneak into other peoples minds without having been pulled into them of their own accord.

Operative's also get standard issue uniforms which they are not allowed to customize...much. With this, you can get a new color of uniform, some government allowed accessories, and maybe even a hat! Awesome, right?

So, your pet's been hanging around all these psychics and the MPA campus isn't exactly lacking in psitanium reserves. It'd be no surprise if your furry (or scaly) friend gained a psychic power of their own, it happens all the time with wild animals around the summer camps (telekinetic bears, pyrokinetic cougars and the like). This will get you a new piece of art of your pet utilizing their psychic power, but they'll only ever get one.
