Keanu sculpted in the sand by the beach and looked out at the horizon line. His mood was more solemn than usual as he had just decided to move on from his love Rilminia after her absence in most of the childrens lives and their relationship. He doubted he would ever see her again.

Rilminia missed everyone. The kids were grown and out and about. She wondered if Keanu was still at the beach.
She rode the waves and walked onto the beach. She looked about and saw him. Her eyes lit up and she ran to him. She glomped him and nuzzled him. "I've missed you!"

Keanu had an awkward smile form on his face as he saw a familiar figure running towards him, and he embraced her best he could. "It's... It's been much to long."

Keanu held on a perfectly awkward smile at the kiss and nuzzle. After he had resolved that he would never see her again and it was best for him to move on, here she was. He was dumbfounded as to how he should be reacting. "Fine... You?"

She realized that her leaving had caused him pain. She let go and moved away. "I'm sorry. I still love you, but I guess it has been too long. I am well." She walked to the water and looked out. She had been out at sea for too long it seems.

Keanu flopped his ears on the side of his head. "I'm sorry." He really was, as much so as he was confused. How should be reacting. Should he be overjoyed? Angry? Confused?

She sat and looked at the stars. "So have you found someone else?" It broke her heart to ask, but it needed to be said. Tears ran down her cheeks.

Keanu shook his head and looked at her with hurt and confused eyes. "I haven't... How could I have been ready to move on so quickly? I hope you do not take me as someone that fickle." Just seeing tears on her cheeks broke his heart.

Rilminia put her face down and wiped the tears from her eyes. It's not to bad. Maybe something could be salvaged. "I see. Thank you for that. No I don't think you fickle. Not at all. I was just... Nevermind. How ar the girls?"

Keanu sighed at the mention of the girls and looked off at the distant horizon. "They are doing better than I could have hoped at a time like this... Though Haukea, I know that she dearly misses her mother in her life. And I am sure Maelie does as well. How is Gambit doing? I have not seen him since I last saw you."

Rilminia looked at the sand. "I see. I have missed them too. He is well. I have seen him from time to time. He is such a beach bum. I hear he likes a lot of girls." She smiled.

Keanu laughed lightly, it was almost amazing in his mind about how easy they could keep conversation after all this time. Maybe that meant something significant, like they could be healed? "Is that so? Maybe I need to give him some pointers of how to impress them, such as ukeleli playing or smoothie making?" He laughed again to himself as memories came back to when he first met Rilminia, about what they had done and the fun they had had.

Rilminia smiled. "Hmm. It might be a good idea. He may find himself a nice lady. I miss both of those." She smiled at all the fun that they had. She gently touched the necklace he had given her.

Keanu smiled shyly as she touched the neclace he had made for her. "Maybe you should visit more often. I'd be glade to do either for you." Just as easily as they had come the first time, the feelings he had for her seemed to be returning.
