One dark snowy night a fox decided to go exploring to places it had never been. So up into the mountains it went until it found a valley covered in snow with high walls around it. The vixen carefully entered the valley looking for any predator that might pop up. Seeing nothing that could harm her she ran out into the middle of the valley and jumped into a mound of snow. She never had never seen snow since she stayed around the teritory of her dad and uncle's tribe. It was always warm there.

It was evident that the vixen had not noticed him, for she had bolted out into the valley he had been dwelling in for the past few days. She dove right into a pile of white, fluffy snow much like a kit who had never seen snow in his or her life would. She stood out against the snow, for her pelage was coloured with black and various shades of blue. He would have been noticable against the snow as well, if he were laying on it instead of the rock. The various shades of his pelt, ranging from white to black, blended in nicely with this rock, not to mention that he was curled up. The only thing anyone would have been able to notice where his red eyes, focused on the movements of this certain vixen.
What was she doing here? No one ever came up here, and that was the exact reason he enjoyed here, to whatever extent he could enjoy something.

Shinya played for only a fue seconds before looking up and around. She could feel that she was being watched but didnt know from where. She then found a pair of red eyes watching her. She crouched down and called out "Hello?"

So she saw him... His eyes were easy to spot, especially on this sort of landscape. And on his black and gray face, his were all the more conspicuous. He raised his head from his paws, letting his thick tail fall from its place around his paws to the snow below him. A few locks of his hair fell in front of his face, yet he couldn't care less about those strands. He crossed his forepaws, his barbed wire bracelet tangling with the fur around his left ankle. "You have noticed me..." Saiaku began. He spoke in a low, stoic voice. "Explain to me why you call out such a question afterwards."

Shinya watched his every move closely. She slowly started coming foward toward the male. "To great you if your a friend or to be causues if your a foe" she state simply.

|| owo I'm going to assume "causues" was meant to be spelled "cautious"... xD||
Saiaku stiffened as the vixen approached. His eyes narrowed and the claws of his forepaws began etching white marks into the surface of the rock. "Yet I am neither." He replied bluntly. Whoever this vixen was didn't give him an adequate response, but he expected as much. In the few minutes he had known her, he already found her to be quite naive and childish. He decided to be satisfied with her answer. Perhaps she would tire of his presence and leave sooner. Saiaku could be undesired company for most either way. He was far too stoic and detached to really become emotionally attached to anyone and he could be quite nonchalant. It was a bit of an endeavor to spur any sort of emotional reaction out of him. Not that he cared...
Saiaku loved his solitude and he preferred it over the presence of any fox.
He yawned and put his head back on his paws, not even the slightest bit amused with this female. He closed his eyes and flicked an ear, waiting patiently to see if this female would stay in an attempt to start up a decent conversation or leave preferring the latter of the two.
||xD Remember, Saiaku can be quite a bit... Harsh... ^^ That's just how he is. xP||

(( yeah i meant caustious... thats what i get for staying up late and on top of that i suck at spelling.)
Shinya came closer still until she was about a foot or two away from the male. "You are right you are niether friend nor foe. Which is fine by me as long as you don't try and kill me or something if I turn my back on you." She then streached out her muscels seeing as they were tense from the run up here and her not sighting the male. "Is this your teritory?" She asked.
((She doesnt take harsh comments to seriously. Because her Uncle is the same way and so are some of her cousins. Stuff like that just rolls off her like water off a duck.))

"Territory? Bah." Saiaku scoffed, opening one of his eyes. He glared at the vixen in front of him. She was uncomfortably close. He raised his head, opening his other eye. At least he could still look down at her. "Territories are restricting, not to mention that you have to worry about defending them. They attract others, as well." He paused for a moment. "I enjoy being alone anyway, therefore I meander my way around the world, hunting for solitude rather than anything else." He was saying too much, but he still hoped she would leave him to his loneliness.

Shinya nodded her head she could see the logic in not having a territory. "You have a very good point. I didnt think you did but I had to ask just in case I was wrong." she said with a smile. "Hey do you want to play in the snow with me?" she asked

"Hmph. I do not partake in these childish activities." Saiaku replied, his voice still stained with that stoic tone. He once again rested his head on his paws, still maintaining eye contact with the female. "Although, I'm not stopping you from doing what you please." He added, his tail gently sweeping at the snow. What he said was true, for he couldn't care less about this female and her activities. He didn't even know her name, and he certainly wasn't going to be caught dead playing in snow. It was such an impractical, pointless waste of time.

"So what is your name sir?"she asked while digging a hole in the snow to make a clear spot for her to sit in as she watched the male. He had one of the most intresting fur coloring besides Doku but atleast she could get Doku to do something but it did take him awhile to open up. She decided that this was the case with this male as well.

His blood red eyes narrowed as he gazed into the female’s turquoise eyes. His tail ceased its motion and no longer grazed the surface of the snow. “It is common courtesy do give your name before asking the name of another.” He replied simply. With a shrug, he decided to answer her question. “No matter… I’m Saiaku. And you are?” He asked in that same stoic voice that had not altered the slightest bit throughout the time they had talked with one another. He raised his form once again, the tattoo on his left flank now visible. He actually did not know if it was a tattoo or a marking, for it had been there for as long as he could remember. He yawned, his teeth glistening in the faint light of the dim stars. Saiaku had not realized how tired he was until he stood up. He had not slept in quite a while and it was beginning to take its toll. He sighed and laid down again, his left foreleg dangling off the rock in such a way that the tattoo he bore on his shoulder was still visible.

"I'm sorry. Hi Saiaku. My name is Shinya." She said with a smile. "You sure you don't want to come play in the snow?" she asked again.

Saiaku nodded with a sigh. "You don't need to ask again, I'm confident about my decisions." He replied, closing his eyes, letting his eyes droop slightly. He curled his tail around his form, placing his left foreleg on the rock once again. Why did some modifoxes persist on holding a conversation with another, especially when the other modifox was not exactly the most social creature to ever walk the earth? Some things simply baffled him... "I suppose it's nice to meet you, Shinya." He stated, trying not to be all too rude. She had noticed the vixen smile at him, but did not feel like returning the smile. Although, Saiaku was not mean, he was just... Antisocial.

Shinya nodded as he told her no again. She started playing in the snow again after a lil while she accidently flung snow in Saiaku direction. She grimced as she hear it hit him with splat. She quickly turned back towards him and watched him to see what he would do.
