Khent (wandering around Nightmare valley happens upon some caves that look like they were once lived in and begins to investigate) aloud to self " Wow this place is huge, I wonder how many people lived here and what happened to them," (examines a piece of pottery)

Mephil smiled and came out of a cave. "Death and darkness happened to them." He smiled. "But what brings you here?" He leaned on a wall and stared.

Startled by the sudden appearance of another living Pony Khent turns towards the voice. " Hello, I am just exploring. I hope I didnt disturb you." She Looks the Pony who spoke over trying to sense if she was in danger.

He shrugged. "There isn't much to disturb here. Oh you mean me? Nah I'm not disturbed at all." He rolled the last disturbed a bit and smiled.

She laughs at the way he says the second disturbed. " Perhaps I should introduce myself to you. My name is Khentkaus, But You may Call me Khent. Might I know your name sir?"

stepping back a pace at his change in tone but not one to really back down or retreat " Can you tell me about those who's remains lay here? " tilts her head as if thinking something over. " I generally like to know a little about what a being was before I bring them back" she said almost as if she was musing aloud however she was glancing at him under veiled lashes to gauge his reaction.

"Hmm interesting." He walks a slow circle around her. "I dance to their demise, and sometimes I kill. Not often though." He looked her in the eye and gave her a wicked smile. Most girls by now would run in fear, then he and the dead could be alone again.

Khent shivered his curious gaze and attention playing havoc with her nervous system. " Ah but is not the Dance of Death merely apart of life since eventually all mortal beings must die." She responded boldly enjoying thier banter a tad to much.

Mephil stopped his circle and turned to face her. "That is true, but I tend to scare the living." He emphasized this by coming close and putting his face but a hairsbreadth from hers.

She Laughed " well sir you don't scare me but then I'm not exactly all living. actually I seem to be quite intrigued by you." Khent blinks puzzled as she never meet a mortal who intrigued her before. "Are you living, dead or like me a little of both?"

Mephil smiled. "You're quite interesting yourself." He pulled back and looked around. He took a step back and sighed. "I don't know actually. I suppose one foot in and one foot out of the grave. I never really have thought of it that way before." He turned and walked over to a corpse.
