Hundreds of years after the ancient war, vampires and lycans were firmly under control, and life for humans was decent and peaceful. With the Red Cross Society still in power, out for the single purpose of destorying all that is not human, everything was quiet. Later on, just about 50 years ago, a huge rebellion took place. All the vampires and lycans, although still fighting each other, rose up against the Red Cross in one brutal battle. In the battle, a young man named Lanius Neco-Inclementia, only in his early 20s, managed to win the battle and took immediate control when the current leader was slain. His reward for saving so many lives was that he was granted to be the new leader of the Red Cross.

Lanius was known as the most powerful leader the Red Cross had ever had, and everyone admired him for finally bringing complete peace. However, his secret methods of torture and slaughter were all but peaceful.


Edward, a member of the Red Cross from a distant land, came to the Outerlands. Here, he met the people that would change his life and his fate forever.
