Have you ever had a particular battlegrounds match where you had such a blast that you didn't care who won or lost?

About ten minutes ago, I got out of what was probably one of the closest Warsong Gulch matches I've been in in a very long time; both sides were nearly identical in terms of skill. Here's a screencap:

Make a note of the length of the match. Until about 15 minutes before the match ended, we were at 0/0. Things turned south when two of our three healers left. =/

That aside, it was a very fun, if drawn-out fight. =)

yes actually! i did my first eye of the storm battleground this afternoon and BOY WAS IT AMAZING. i'm not actually very into the battlegrounds but since this was a new one for me i was all for it and i have to say i will DEFINITELY do it again!!

MY first 80 WSG battle was incredibly perfect no one actually tried to grasp the flag nor defend it. It was more of a full assault on middle. Of course i am a gnome rogue with pink hair and i was just rippin' it up. I found it so entertaining to sap the clothies and kill them without anyone noticing. I had like 44 killing blows and 4 deaths, but this was when Mutilate was at 50% now its at 20% )):

I loved the old Alterac Valleys...they would last for hours....now THAT felt like such a real fight! You'd push the other side, they'd push back, you'd destroy a tower of theirs...

They'd never end! If you had a free day you could just have a blast! I got over 1500 honorable kills in one battle that lasted about 5 hours...that was fun.

And not just fighting for the heck of it! We were actually trying! Both sides! Sending scouts and such out...we had leaders! Organized forces and such..it was everything it should be. Nowadays they go too fast...

I miss those battles!

I only wish I was around early enough to experience those kinds of AV matches. =( (I came about just before 2.4)

Though I guess I can take pride in the fact that I've been in one of the few AV matches since BC launched where Ivus AND Lokholar were both summoned in the same match (this was a few months before 3.0.2). I kind of regret that I wasn't able to record the match. =/
