I want to take a racing scene from the movie, "Death Race" and add mario kart sound effects, however I don't want to spend precious time on this if its only going to be removed due to copyright. So does anyone know if this is likely to happen? I thought of it as a great possibility since its owned by universal studios. I really want to do this, but I don't want to spend a lot of time on it for no reason. <.<

From my experience, youtube takes down my video if I use the full version of a popular song. Some youtubers don't get their videos taken down when they do not use the entire song. (These people are more just lucky, than anything!)
I doubt that anyone is looking to see if sound effects from a video game are being used. However, it is still possible that it could be taken down one day. You'll have to decide if the risk is worth the reward. In this situation, I figure it is quite low.
