Ok bloody suckers!
As you may or may not already know I HATE VamPop. This includes Twilight, House of Night, The Anita Blake series, Angel, Blue Bloods, etc. Basically things that take all the dark magic, mystery, and gore filled fun out of vampire fantasy.
(Parody series such as Tru Blood or Vampire Kisses don't count)
If I want a good vampire story I typically have to look for something that was not written within the recent decade. Unforuntaly these sorts of good old vampire fiction are hard to find.
But they do exist!Behold MIDNIGHT MASS by F. Pual Wilson.  Its a not so distant future sort of story taking place in a time when Vampire rule the world, or at least a good portion of it.
I highly recomend this book for other children of the night who, like me, are sick of the emo sparkly good guy vampires.
Come on people, it has a Vampire Hunting Nuns for crying out loud what the hell else do you want?
