Fallen Leaves Post OfficeThe post office of Fallen Leaves, where mail is sent, received, and delivered. Connected to the General Store, the small village post office is full of unmailed letters from ages ago. Broken pencils lay scattered around the desk, but new mail lay stacked in the corner.

Zaylin stumbled back into the general town area (or what he thought was the general town area). He was getting worried that he wouldn't know where he was going, when he remembered the General Store. He looked to the side, noticing another bit of a building attached to the General Store. Deciding that he may as well investigate, he somewhat cautiously made his way over.
The doorway looked to be very worn down, with rust and dirt in some corners of it. "Yikes..." He thought. Just outside of the building stood a rickety, old blue mailbox. He looked back to the door, wondering if he really wanted to step inside. He took a breath, and pushed on the door bar. It wouldn't budge. He pushed again, a little more forcefully, and found that it moved a little. He stepped back, and let out a big sigh.
"What am I doing?" He asked himself wistfully. He looked back at the door, this time, deciding to give it only one more shot.
He stood some few yards away from the door, and then ran towards it, building momentum. He angled his upper body a little to the side, and braced for impact. The door bar pushed back, and the door itself creaked as it opened just enough for Zaylin to get in. He slinked in, massaging his now throbbing arm. Why did he do that again?
He looked around, the entire place was dusty. He looked for a light switch, and turned it in. The fluorescent lights flickered, and then came on. Everywhere, there were piles of old, musty letters. Zaylin inspected one, dating about five years ago. It hadn't been mailed. A chill went up his spine, and Zaylin hoped he wasn't in some kind of horror movie.
