...Nascar Rule Policy Change Again.
NASCAR has announced that they will be implementing a few more rules to the series for restrictor plate racing when it comes to the bump zones and blocking. They said they will give penalties DURING the race, not points deductions after the race. I like this idea. Makes em work a whole lot harder to get back what they lost and makes them realize that it will be hard to get it back if the mess up.

It that going to DO much good? What if that still some how causes the wreck that happened on Sunday? It does no good then. I say they should change the way the stands are. Raise up the level of the lower stands. Also who knows how much of the thrill factor they might take out of it? I love the thrill that I get of watching restrictor plate racing. You take some of that element that comes with it out, is it going to keep me interested? These kinds of races are ones that I will really watch from start to finish because of that thrill. I know safety comes first but, it will do no good if it loses fans.

I like the more strict rules.
I also think that they should raise the fence height and make it a bit for durable.

Edit: My brother and I saw the video clip again...those parts that went into the crowd went THROUGH the fence not OVER the fence. Some of it were also PARTS of the fence. We looked at in multiple times and multiple angles.

I laughed my butt off! Carl attempted to block, push 09 across the contention line, what ever and Keselowski spun him. Hand he gone under the line he would of been at fault. Technically nobody broke rules there. No crossing the yellow line, and blocking is allowded.
The catch fence did it's job. Screw the people whining. They should go to a race KNOWING that there is a small chance they will get hurt.
There was nothing wrong with anything that occured that day.
My dad suggest a second layer of fencing flush with the main layer, a lot thinner spacing to catch some of the smaller debris.
That was one for the ages.
Bet we don't see a wreck like that in 20 years.
