A rolling suitcase made a rhythmic click as it rolled against the hardwood floors. She had never stayed in a place this nice and she was already liking what she saw. She did not pause in the common area, knowing that her room was important. The place was to herself for now and so she traveled in a circle looking into each room. They were all well furnished and comfortable but she knew she had not found her room yet.
Finally on the second floor, she found the very last room. It seemed like the largest and the window faced the field. The window was open and a light breeze blew in, ruffling the white curtain. She had found her room. Akari settled her suitcase by the bed and began to unpack. She didn't have many things but she had quite a collection of things from the Animated she had slain. On the small shelf she put a mask from a Tiny Terror and a Kokeshi doll body with it's head next to it.
Only an hour later Akari was finished her room taking on a light yellow color scheme. Josie would have loved to see it but she was not sure if her mother was allowed though she was sure if she asked John, he would be okay. Still, it was a fort. It was night and she wanted to be well rested before the activities for the next day. First, she had to call her mother and give her the number to her room. After that, she was in bed.

 [I'm not a bad person...]There was a knock at the door. It was a sharp double-knock made with practiced ease. "Hello?" Chris had heard from John that Akari had settled in. Chris hadn't really run into Akari much lately... at least, not since the fort had been properly finished. He figured it'd be a good idea to check up on her and make sure everything was going alright.  [...I just have bad luck.]

[Eeep sorreh.]
Akari had ignored the knock forgetting where she was. She had actually thought she was at home and Josie would always knock on the door to let her know when breakfast was ready. But, it took a good hour before she would actually get out of the bed. Within a moment she remembered where she was and shot up, bleary eyed and still half asleep. She would have to be more alert than this, always at the ready.
Akari stumbled to the door and pulled it open. She poked her head into the hallway and spotted Chris walking away from her room. "Chris!" she called to him to get his attention. "Sorry, I had fallen asleep."

[I'm not a bad person...] (Don't worry about it, it's my bad. xd ) "Hm?" Chris turned around and saw Akari standing out by the door. "Oh!" He exclaimed, "so WERE in your room..." He took a few steps back towards her. "I'm sorry, did I catch you at a bad time? I didn't mean to interrupt your nap or anything..." Being a vampire made him a little insensitive to the body clocks of others; it was an idiosyncrasy that he had trouble overcoming. [...I just have bad luck.]

"Oh no...not at all. It's fine." she said with a nod and smile. She leaned against the doorway casually. After all, it was a bit early for bed and though she was tired, she supposed she should have made more of an effort to meet the others when she had arrived. Especially Alexandra whom she had only heard about but had never actually seen or met.
"I just got settled in." she said taking a small step back so that he could see the decor of her room. "It's a really nice room. Lot's of space." she commented her eyes sweeping her new room once more.

[I'm not a bad person...] (Continue under the premise that I am still using this avatar, please.) "Yeah, I like what you've done with the place." Chris crane his head, peeking around Akari to see inside her room. His monocle changed lenses with a clicking noise. "Anyways, it's good to see you're settling in well enough. You should take a look around the rest of the fort sometime, if you haven't already." He paused for a moment and looked away. "Anyways, I'm not just here for smalltalk and pleasantries; I actually have something I need you to help me with. It's kind of an ongoing thing. Are you available for a moment?" [...I just have bad luck.]

"Thanks I definitely plan to tomorrow or maybe later on." she said with a smile. She was eager to see the rest of the fort and all that it had offered.
Her interest peaked when he asked for her help. Something to do. She could not help but smile once more wondering what it was that he wanted to ask of her. "Sure." she replied with a nod.

[I'm not a bad person...] Chris nodded. "I'm glad you're willing to cooperate," he said. Her enthusiasm made him feel a bit better. "Well, it's clan business, of course..." He motioned to the building around them. "You see, for the longest time, our priority was the construction of this fort," Chris said. "We've finally got it all set up and everything, but we need to start working on the next phase of the clan... we need to start bringing in more members." The sentence was punctuated with a sigh. "John's too busy with captain matters, and Ally is caught up in housekeeping... I've been out actively recrewting people, but it just isn't enough." He indicated towards Akari. "Do you think you could help me by going out and helping us get more members? I feel that's the most important thing that we can do at this time..." [...I just have bad luck.]

Akari nodded. "Sure I can." she said. Being social was something she loved to do. She liked to go out and speak to other people, often times finding herself making a new friend each day. But lately, so many people had been in clans already and it had been difficult. Still, a task was a task and she would do her best to bring in more people.
"Anything specific you would like me to do?"

[I'm not a bad person...] "Um..." Chris thought for a moment. "It's not really a specific request, just something I want you to continue to pursue in the future. We have this nice big fort now, and no one to fill it with... I think it's a shame." He shook his head. "Anyways, you're pretty approachable, so I figure you'll do a good job bringing people back. Once we get more good people, we can have more influence, and then we can just continue growing... just get some good clan members and the rest will follow, I think." Chris paused. "...I hope that all made sense?" [...I just have bad luck.]

"Crystal clear." she said with a nod. In a way she felt more relieved now, knowing that she was not under too much pressure. Recruiting more members. She could do that.
"Oh, I have a small question if that is all. Umm...well... it's about Alexandra. I have not met her yet. I always seem to be missing her and well, I think it is important that I do. She is my Vice Captain after all and I know everyone else here but her. She must be very busy. Still, I would like to meet her. Do you know where I might find her?"

"Oh, you haven't met the other vice captain? I guess it's not a surprise..." Chris sighed. "Ally's been very busy, and she tends to keep to herself a lot. Kind of shy, you know? I don't think she's even had the time to set up her accommodations in the vice captain's quarters..." Chris shrugged. "I don't know where she's at, usually... if you ask John, he might know. If not, you're sure to bump into her eventually. Do you need her for something?" [...I just have bad luck.]

Akari smiled back. She had been doing a lot of that lately. But, she was very happy about her new situation. She would have to tell Josie all about it and she knew she would be thrilled for her.
"I don't need her for anything specific. I have just been curious about her because I have never seen her. I wanted to introduce myself to her and see if maybe she has a task for me or something. I feel strange when I am sedentary."
