History: Not much is known of Damian's origins, he just appeared out of no where. He has, of yet, really done nothing to gain the notice of the Shinigami, maybe killing a soul here or there, but has generally kept in the shadows. He has been attacked by newbies before, all dead within minutes, however.
He, somehow and despite his character of brushing everyone off, joined Aizen's side of the war, and became a sabordinate of one of his Espada, Azrael. He still holds much of what he once was, though, a trait not owned by many.
~Techniques~
- Cero (Atk) (虚閃, lit. "hollow flash"; the pronunciation is Spanish for "zero") are high-powered energy blasts that can be fired from either the mouth or hand. Only menos, arrancar, and vizard have so far been shown to use cero attacks, and it appears that stronger entites can use it more efficiently.
- Bala (Atk) (虚弾, lit. "hollow bullet;" the pronunciation is Spanish for "bullet") is a weaker but quicker alternative to regular cero blasts. The technique hardens the user's spiritual pressure and fires it at around twenty times the speed of a cero. Can only be learned and used after leaning and mastering Cero.
- Hierro (鋼皮, lit. "steel skin;" the pronunciation is Spanish for "iron") refers to the ultra tough skin of the arrancar, which is a result of their compressed spiritual power. While their skin is strong enough to block even released zanpakutō bare-handed, it is by no means impenetrable. Stronger arrancar have proportionally stronger skin. 60% and below would have no chance of breaking through however, 70% -110% would allow the arrancar to still defend a few turns bare skinned, and anything beyond 110% would cause medium to high damage depending on the attack.
- Negación (反膜, lit. "counter membrane;" the pronunciation is Spanish for "negation") fields are used to rescue fellow hollows. Only the gillian-class menos have shown the ability to use it. Negación fields surround a target in a square beam of light that isolates the target from the dimension they are currently in, making it impossible to harm them. The field then pulls the target towards the menos that created the field.
- Pesquisa (探査回路, lit. "inquiry circuit;" the pronunciation is Spanish for "inquiry") is the arrancar equivalent of the shinigami ability to sense spiritual pressure. It functions similar to sonar detecting those even invisible to the naked eye and annoying reiatsu hiding techniques.
- Sonido (響転, lit. "resounding revolution;" the pronunciation is Spanish for "sound") is the arrancar equivalent of the shinigami flash steps; it allows the user to travel at incredibly high speeds for short distances. Use of sonido is punctuated by a brief static sound, in contrast to the "swish" sound used for flash steps.
-Resurreccion- Most arrancar have the ability to seal their power within a Zanpakutō. Upon releasing their Zanpakutō they gain all of their former unique hollow abilities back, similar to resurrecting their old selves. When using the ability, it is a combination of their human form and their hollow form, increasing their power roughly thirtyfold.
Custom Abilities
~Leech Thread~
Damian can pierce the skin of his enemies with his claws. On contact, a spirit energy thread, invisible to all but those extremely aware of such things, connects to the enemy, allowing Damian to literally leech the enemy's spirit energy. The effect lasts until either combatant leaves, or the thread is cut.
~Darkness Transport~
Damian is able to go from Point A to point B in the form of a dark ball of spirit energy, about three times the size of an adult male's hand. The ball move's extremely quick and cannot really be hit, but Damian cannot do any real physical action while in this form. This form can also meld from one realm to another realm, excluding Soul Society. It's basically his version of Garganta.
~Shadow's Call~
Damian's wings spew a thick black mist, which harshly impare the enemy's(s') sight. The mist itself will stay until blown away, but this move requires little effort to do.
~Big Bang~
Damian gathers his spirit energy for a time, then slams it into the ground, causing a Nova Blast, with the size dependent on the time allowed to gather. If enough energy is released, anyone his level in power or stature could quite possibly die instantly, but this would require a massive about of prep time.
~Resurrecion~
"Let Light shine not here, for this place will be a place of Darkness. Let all who are witness gaze upon Death and Destruction! Let their memories torture their lives forever!"
