I will be hosting the first contest. The contest theme? TITLES!
Here is how this is going to work:
::THE BASICS::
[1] I give you a list of titles, if any of them inspire you, you may enter.
[2] You must pay an entry fee of 200 Gold. Depending on how many Entries we get, the bigger the prize money.
[3] I will award a First, Second and Third place winner at the end of the contest.
::TITLES::
[1] Made Of Glass
[2] Just Another Star Without A Shine
[3] Some Scars Never Heal
[4] Deceiving The Deceiver
[5] Drowned In Ashes
[6] Shadow Song
[7] Torn Pages
[8] Unsigned Confessions
[9] Eternal Sea
[10] Distorted Writings {Of A Poisonous Mind}
::RULES::
[1] Absolutely NO Erotica. I hate reading that stuff.
Save it for your bedroom.
[2] Must be a short or medium length poem. Nothing longer than 100 lines please. (Yes, I will count them.)
[3] Don't use words that I'm going to have to look up in a dictionary. I should be able to understand it without having to look up every three words.
[4] Please try to comment on everyone else's work. It's only polite.
[5] You MUST pay an entry fee of 200 gold. Otherwise how can I give out prizes? PM either myself, or the other judge letting us know you entered and who you sent the gold to. We've created a mule account to do this.
[6] Do NOT argue with any of the judges. Automatic DQ if this is done.
[7] You have two weeks to come up with something to write. If you have to, reserve a spot to let me know you're entering.
[8] Use proper spelling. No chat speak. Automatic DQ. This is literature, not free time to half a** a conversation.
[9] I will allow minimal swearing. But don't over-do it.
[10] As always: follow all site rules.
[11] HAVE FUN. I want to do more contests in the future. You may send either Atreus, Cooll or One a PM sharing contest ideas you'd like to see. I'm sure the three of them will work something out.
