HI xD This thread shall contain random facts that are hopefully all weird or funny. All of it will be true, and hopefully most of it will be about Bi-sexuality, Gay, Lesbian, Pansexuality, ect... I'll get them hopefully daily and post them in here. 4/26/09 Did you know that Abraham Lincoln was also bi-sexual? He freed the slaves not only because he knew slavery was wrong {{though that was the main reason}} But also because he thought black men (no offence, I didn't know how to state it.) were great lovers. xP Also, as a young lawyer, he spent four years sharing a bed with a handsome shopkeeper named Joshua Steed. Here's something Steed wrote in his diary! "Our Abe is like a school girl, always demanding physical affection...he often kisses me when I tease him."

4/27/09 Did you know that Eleanor Roosevelt, the First Lady to the famous FDR, was at least a bi-sexual, if not a lesbian? Well, If you don't belive it here's the hard, cold evidence. Eleanor had a long term relationship with journalist Lorena Hickok. The two women shared inimate love letters with each other, which makes it clear that, if not physical lovers, they were at least close and intimate friends.
Here is a letter Eleanor penned to Hickok on March 7, 1933:
Hick darling,
All day I've thought of you & another birthday I will be with you, & yet tonite you sounded so far away & formal. Oh! I want to put my arms around you. I ache to hold you close. Your ring is a great comfort to me. I look at it and think she does love me, or I wouldn't be wearing it.
Unfortunatly, many of the letters were destroyed or burned as to keep this secret a secret. But there is one more letter that Eleanor wrote to Hickok that suggests they could have been physical lovers. The date is unknown. Eleanor wrote:
I wish I could lie down beside you tonight & take you in my arms.

wow. that's interesting because they claim that a lot of influential people to our society were bi/gay. like, people claim john lennon was (uh, i think he actually said he was... i prolly shouldn't include names if i'm not positive, huh sweatdrop ) and also that back in the greek times it was casual for men to fornicate with other men and women to do the same. they had a section in the house where they did stuff like that and it was a social thing.

oh, well, there are a few lesbian authors, but they aren't famous or notable like shakespeare (hint hint, heard some stuff about him too...)
