Well, as it happened, I thought the same thing. It sure was very scary.
That thing sure did go up into the fence and thank God it held. That has 1987 written all over it.

I really thought Carl was done until I saw that windownet come down. Thank god for the safety equipment.

That was a bad wreck, With that kind of force, im surprised that fence stay intact. Michael McDowells wreck I think may have been worse than that.

Say what you will about the COT, it did its job protecting Carl. I'm not sure if he would have been able to run to the finish line in the old car after that wreck.

I agree, the new car is safe and no one is really criticizing it anymore, which is good. That wreck was the ultimate test of the COT. -sighs- Glad Carl's ok. It would have kinda screwed my mom over on my family's betting if he got hurt.
