 Silence.
That's all she'd been hearing for a full month now. It was starting to get more annoying than Corine's constant blabbering when she rambled. Okay, it wasn't complete silence, but there was enough silence to make her head hurt. The pressure of having absolutely nothing to listen to was driving Duskai insane. It forced her to make her own noise, not something she was rather acostomed to doing.
"For the love of... there has to be someone, anyone out here. Come on, I'll talk to a rabbit of I have to, but I just need something other than this silence!" she grumbled, rather uncharacteristically for her nature. Then again, she'd come out of her muteness and been using her voice whenever she could.
One couldn't call her a talkative mare, but she wasn't silent anymore.

What wonderful weather! Beautiful sunshine, sweet, tender grass sprouting so quickly you could almost hear it growing, gorgeous flowers, and wonderful butterflies fluttering about. Spring was, by far, Dichali's favorite season.
The flutter allowed the breeze to carry him, which made it quite simple for him to fly in his small form. "Hmm," he thought aloud, "If only there were somebody to share such a wonderful day with."
As if replying to his thought, his eyes saw something in the distance. Well, someone, anyway. He quickly grew to his normal size and nickered to the mare. "Hello, there!"

The fact that there was a sound other than the wind and the occasional bird chirping started Duskai. She jumped some two feet in the air and looked around until she could find the source of the sound. There stood a light blue stallion with orange hair, and wings. There was something different about his wings, though. They were like leaves, and blue.
She blinked a few times before smiling, "Hello! Fine weather we are having, no?" she said, walking towards him.
