This is a new style I wanted to try out. Not sure how well it is looking. I think the body proportions are a bit off and a few other things. Criticism please. blaugh

I like it! Very cute ^.^ The torso is a bit disproportional (doesn't seem to be connected to the arm properly so the back and chest is a bit off) but over all nice

Very beautiful style. The upper part of the arm should be slightly thicker than the rest of the arm, but very good overall.

nice sketch yeah i agree with moon the torso is a bit off. I guess you can add an line to show the armpit to make it work. sweatdrop
But everything else looks right on. biggrin

Overall, I think it's absolutely beautiful. Love the eyes and hair especially.
Her wrist and hand are a bit deformed - the wrist should probably be a bit thicker and the edge underneath her thumb needs to curve outwards more. I think her chin is a little off center, but that might just be my eyes playing tricks on me.
Not sure if the torso shape is part of the style or not, but it looks...hm. I'm not really sure what's off, just that something is. Meh.
Still, great work. If you didn't tell us, I'd just have assumed you were used to drawing this style all along.

crying SOOOO gorgemous!!! me likee very unique aaaaah! I am now wanting to try! lovee it! she looks as if she is waiting on the side of a bridge for a friend and then sees the friend and signs to them! ^_^ very nice she looks like she may have been thinking seriously of a decision and is now going to stop and listen to her friend's chit chat to make them happy *she may be kinda spacey and her friend will eventually notice and ask and then she will deny anything bothering her and . . . heart sweatdrop xp loved the drawing *red

Looks okay, but maybe its just me. The face looks a bit off...
Perhaps the ear is missing. The face isn't really turned that much to have the other ear hidden... Actually looking at it a bit more, I think its the hair that is making it look funny. The top right part where she is doing the peace sign.
If you at the picture from a further distance you can notice it a bit more.
And yeah, the torso looks funny because of the breast area is kind of awkward. Mainly because there is no shading to define any shape on the torso.

Cute, you did great! But the sketch line of the arm in the hair I think is was makes it look disconnected... The lips are a bit awkward, but I shouldn't be blabbing xD Good luck ;D

This is so pretty!
The body proportions are off, but not by a LOT.
The hips could be wider, and look more like they're facing 3/4 instead of to the front. (To me it looks like her hips are swiveling towards us). The arm throwing up the peace/victory sign looks a little disconnected
