Alright, those of you who are in favor of a United Barton, come here to discuss important matters! Here is today's agenda:
We will talk about:
1) Government
2) Districts
3) Rules & Regulations
4) Citizenship Process
5) New Ideas & Developments
We will also discuss our roles and volunteering. Plus, recruitment schedules and stuff!

I'm in favor of a constitutional monarchy, if we decide to have the NPCs (and are able to get them to be) our nobility.
If we can't, however, given that we have to vote for everything, it'll be more of a democratic republic.

So... republic will require change the leader from time to time. Is that manageable? Won`t it be too much trouble? Or being able to quit the leadership is a good thing?

I agree. But let's give the options to the people.
Democratic Republic is one.
Another is Communism.
Any others and can you explain them to us?
EDIT: Hmm...yeah, we'll probably change leaders every year or two. Just depends on the activity.

I don`t think communism would work here.
But Parliament could be a nice choice. It gets the power a bit divided, so none will think the guild actualy belong to him/her. There are several countries that have both president and first minister. The president is elected by the people - who also picks the parliament - and the parliament chooses it`s representative to be the first minister. We could divide obligations and have both working for Bartonian People... ^^

Yeah, I agree with you Ketsushin, communism won't work, but it's good to throw it out there.
Hmm...but if Parliament's going to elect the leader....huh. Well, we can make that an option for the citizens to choose when we get 2,000 citizens to vote.

I think 2 leaders would make the work more efficient.
For communism we`d have to create a political party that would run all the work, like, forever. We COULD do it from Army, but I don`t think that would be cool for anybody NOT in the Army...
(I`ve to go. I`ll check your decisions later at night. ^^)

You got a point there. But if we're going to have a 2,000 citizen or more, we might as well have three leaders that oversee different districts of the Town.

Well, let's get on to the next order of business: Districts.
What subforums and districts do we need?
One would be the Capitol District.
Another the Bazaar and Shopping District.
The next might be the Justice District.
The other one might be the various housing districts.
There will be a Military District of course.
...what else is there?

In other words, Theatre District.
And then will have a Vistas District or something for the artists.
Then maybe will have a Library District for the Literature.
