 Squall stood at the gaping opening of the pups' den, peering out at the dark clouds gathering overhead. Joyful... He really had wanted to go out today... Maybe... He took two steps out of the mouth, paws hitting soft earth, and a big, fat raindrop landed on his nose. He squeaked and pulled back just as a cloud let loose. Rain pounded the ground for many minutes, filling up the silence with white noise and he flopped down on the cool stone to watch it.
Where was fun when you needed it?

Unlike his siblings Moscow prefered to go out in the stormy weather. Prehaps a bit of his grandmothers coat had gotten into him- or maybe it was something else. Either way he really didn't know- or stop to ask anyone. This time outside was his. The raindrops littering his coat with small pelts of fresh cool droplets of magic. He shook off once or twice letting more water race down his back. Even the lighting that fell ever so close to him didn't terrorize the small puppy. He welcomed the forgien power and wished he could get closer to the blast.
He then cocked a brown at the cave his siblings seamed to bew hiding in. Maybe he could coax one of them out to feel the same power he did.

Squall watched from the cave's mouth, his ears pricking forwards as he caught scent of his brother dancing upon the air that the rain didn't wash away. He pranced to his paws, pacing the floor, wanting to go play and wishing, wishing, wishing this rain would stop.
It didn't.
He ground his teeth together, then loped forwards, nearly bowling into his brother. Thunder struck and he skittered backwards, nuzzling up close to Moscow. "H-Hey brother," he said softly with a lopsided grin.

Moscow stumbled abit as his brother seamed to quake in terror of the things he seamed to be enjoying. "You know it's not really as scary as it looks." He puffed out his chest feeling some kind of electric power brewing beneth. A kind of internal strength he couldn't discribe. Another bolt fell near him by coensidence...this seamed to be a regular thing with him now. Like they were drawn to him- never striking him though...but always exploding in paw steps of his little body.
"Don't you feel the power too?" He cocked his head at Squall as more rain seamed to find Moscows barron muzzle. He wondered if this was just him feeling so different or if all his siblings were blessed with this 'weird' sort of feeling about them.
He then stopped and looked once more at his brother then his eyes seamed to look up right at the lighting. It's white blast illuminating his. "I love the rain..." He spoke quitely to himself.

He wasn't quaking -- it was more of a shiver. His tail tucked under at the flash of lightning, blinding white and beautifully deadly. He didn't want to be struck by one of those things! He stood up straight, looking at his brother for a long moment. Power? No... Energy? Yes... He felt it like a buzzing in his head. He shook his muzzle and then the thunder rolled again. He forced himself to stay still. "It's just water. It makes you all wet," he complained. "C'mon, let's do something. Mama won't notice we're gone..." His innocent grin twisted slightly and his tail rose and wagged. He gave Moscow the puppy-dog eyes. "Pleeeease? Can we look for the thing today?"

Moscows face twisted into a plesant smile. "Oh yes the thing! It's all over the place when it rains! Though you sometimes have a hard time seeing it in the treetops with all the clouds and wet." Another bolt seamed to land infront of the two. He looked back at Squall. "Don't worry about those- I don't think they can hurt us." He said with another vote of confidence. He felt untouchable in the rain.
He then bounded forwards into the heavier droplets no longer standing in the mouth of the cave. "Common out the water is nice and cool." Then his yellow eyes darted into a nearby tree as the wind shook it. "And look theres the thing now!"

His gray eyes locked onto Moscow as he headed back out into the dripping wet. He watched him for a moment, hesitating. But wait, the thing? Squall bit his tongue and followed him, wincing as the rainwater immediately soaked him through. He shook, but it did no good. He shook again. Still nothing. With a huff, he would deal with it. His gaze scanned the treetops, searching frantically for something only Moscow could see. But he didn't know that. "Follow it!" he barked excitedly, his past worries forgotten.

Moscows nose darted from the end of his body like a radar. His eyes seeing this 'thing' dancing in the treetops moving from one location to the other. It was like a tiny cloud of wind that just couldn't keep itself contained from the joy when it saw Moscow. Like a little living entity.
"Do you see it now?" He wagged his tail harder the rain comming down more then it did before.

Squall glanced quickly between Moscow and the treetop, following his brother's yellow gaze into the swirling mass of budding tree limbs caught by the wind. He narrowed his eyes, squinting against the rain and he gave a yip. "Yeah! I think so! How do we get up there, though?" He tilted his head to one side, watching his brother.

Moscow shrugged and watched the wind dance again. "I'm not excatly sure...but I think when it wants to it will come down to us." He nodded his head over and over ahead. "Please come down here little wind?" He called up to it with little barks. And as if it listened the small storm of a wind orb wooshed down over there heads and threw both of there fur. "Wow that was an experince!" He barked begging it to come back.

Squall looked back up, head still cocked to one side. The rain continued to pour down upon them, pelting the ground and splashing mud up on the pups' paws and tailtips. Would the Thing come down? Would they have to climb the tree? He gave a disgruntled whine, just as Moscow talked to it.
There was a wooshing sound and the wind picked up speed, tossing Squall's fur back against his skin. He gave a small yelp and dropped to the ground, wondering for a brief moment if there was going to be a tornado before the orby ball of wind dissipated once again.
And Moscow was calling it back. Squall leaped at him, ears flat, paws raking against his brother's side. "Are you crazy? That thing could kill us!"

He shook his head and laughed playfully at his brother. "Naw I don't think it would kill us...it's my friend." He said trumpantly as Squall's claws were starting to hurt his side. "I wish Rumor was out here...I'd send the thing after her. I'd love to see sissy running with her tail between her legs. She so mean at times." He moved offsidedly so that he now was free of the death grip that he had on him. "Ouch that smarts! Do you sharpin those things or something?"
