1: All Gaia Rules are to be obeyed. If I hear you've been banned for an infraction of the TOS that will get you expelled out of Cannogakure as well. There's no 3 strike rule here, it's one and you're out. This is basic, everyone should know it before they even apply into here.

That also means you can't "Take it to PMs" as TOS states even PMs are to maintain the same rules.

2: Thou shalt follow any lawful order given to you by a superior. This means Academy Genin follow the OOC, and IC guidance of any full ninja, Genin follow the OOC and IC guidance of Chuunins, jounins, and Kages, etc. The "Lawful" word there is very important. Under no reason are you to follow an order that breaks any rules they give you. Either OOC or IC. IC "Unlawful Orders" would be doing things that are obviously illegal or carry IC consequences that are unconsciable, such as killing yourself, attacking ninjas of a village you are not at war with except in self defense, going on murder sprees, etc.

3: Contact a village elder or staff official anytime your ninja wishes to learn a new jutsu, gain a special piece of equipment, or Rank Up. You must get permission from said official. Said official might suggest some roleplay you need to accomplish to gain it, or change what you will gain to be more in line with what is appropriate in terms of power and setting.

4: All roleplay in combat must have logical responses. After all, we ARE ninja, sooner or later we'll get in a clash. This means mostly however, that you can't just be "knocked out" and wake up fine later after being stabbed 100 times. That if someone cracks your arm with a tetsubo, that your arm is actually broken. Use some logic, let your ninja get hurt. Don't use lethal means thinking it'll knock out an enemy and allow a capture. Just keep your head on your shoulders and don't get too outrageous and you should be fine.

5: Ninja are not Solid Snake! This means that your ninja only carries so much. You don't have to post your inventory every post. But just be aware you don't have unlimited shuriken. Unless you actually have a summoning scroll, you won't have weapons just poof out of nowhere.

6: You are not the Wellspring of Chakra. Eventually you will run out. If you continue to run out "just after the fight is over" or the like, you will find yourself on our shitlist. Especially if your last tiniest bit of Chakra aways ends up being some one shot victory move. Be logical, be responsible.

7: If it's not clear yet. Be logical, be responsible. Think IC and be aware of OOC needs.

8: You are not Rockafeller. Cannogakure is not a particularly "Rich" village. So don't expect your character will be in the lap of luxury. Things are not free, even among villagers, and if you want to get paid and be able to maintain your lifestyle, you better be active in the RP.

9: Missions are handed out on a volunteer basis. No one will be assigned against thier will. Though there will often be printed requirements that may exclude you from participating.

10: Remember, Effort is Directly Proportional to Results, at least in this RP. You want to have some game winning one shot kill move? Then I expect that move to take some time and effort on your part to pull off, perhaps even requiring teammates to lure them into the target area or pin down the target.

11: OOC should be kept out of IC threads as much as possible. There is an OOC thread set up in here, its there for a reason, please use it.

12: The words of the moderators (At this time only Arcturus Highwind) are Law. Disobeying willingly and blatantly will result in a banning. I will also request that the other communities in this project do as well. This goes two ways as I will also ban anyone they request I do so due to infractions within thier roleplays. There is no Neutral Territory for you guys.

13: There are rules for character creation which can be found at The Hidden Villages Profile Guild. You do not need to submit a profile to roleplay here, or even to be a citizen. However if you want to participate in missions, events, exams, and become a shinobi, then you will be asked to do so.

13a: As part of thier profile creation add the following section: "Long Term Goals: (For the character)" and fill it out. This lets me know you've thought about your character and have some plans and hopefully incentive to keep RPing it.

13b: All Cannogakure ninjas are submitted as Academy Students, by the way (No age limits), during which you will RP here in a two-three week "Probationary Period". This will also serve as your instruction period in the unique culture and techniques of Cannogakure. When I am satisfied in your skills and grasp of the setting you'll be promoted to Genin (And gain the appropriate stats and jutsu).

14: Cannogakure is a Mainstream Gaia RP. Which means while it is part of a naruto community it is also part of the wider Gaia roleplay (As are the other ones) which means from time to time you will run into things which are not part of Naruto. That's okay, roll with it.

15: Cannogakure is a "Canon" RP. Things that happen here, happen here. It's not some alternate universe where you can ignore the results that you don't like. It also means that like the other RPs in this community this takes place Naruto Timewise just at the beginning of Shippuden (Naruto hasn't returned yet, consider it starting at minute 0 of Shippuden). While Cannogakure is not one of the villages in the setting this still applies. So no "Lost Uchihas" joining Cannogakure, no unaccounting for demonic sealed ninjas appearing out of nowhere, etc.
