Schmee was on guard duty today, She actually loved it. She felt she really belonged now and she had got along well with all the other cat here. She liked being able to do her part from the group. She sat on a high wall that was shaded by a over hanging tree, she couldn't easily be noticed by those passing below, but she had full view. Her blue eyes scanned everything around her, if anything moved she knew.
The breeze swept past her still cool and fresh, smelling of the honey suckle that grew on the wall. Guard duty in the morning truly was the best, it wasn't to hot and not many people were about yet. Giving her plenty of time to truly enjoy the scenery and appreciate her territory. Of course She wanted to protect this place.

Persy was sick and tired of being on her own, feeling sorry for herself. It was time she found a group of cats to spend time with. But the only cats that she had really gotten on with that she had met more than once was Schmee and her group of cats. Those cats were a delightful bunch and Persy had to admit she would love to spend more time with them. She needed somewhere she could stay as well. Not just in a tree like she had been doing for so long as of late. It had helped her become stronger, flighting off other cats and other animals for food. She had become more self confident about her abilies as a wild cat.
So she set off looking for Schmee. She remembered the cats scent from the last time she had met her but Persy's senses wern't as good as a fully fledged wild cats so locating the cat was much more just guess work then scent. After a good hour of searching she reached a high wall. She was almost thinking of giving up at this point.

Watching the familiar female as she approached Schmee couldn't help but smile. She didn't often see her friends here, besides Birman who would sit with her on some days and keep her company, he didn't want to join any territory just yet, so he never stayed to long. It would be nice to have some of her friends stay here with her though.
As Persy got closer to the wall Schmee noticed a look of frustration on her face, She knew Persy didn't mean any harm to the territoy so she leaned over the edge of the wall a bit and called down to her. "Oy, Persy! Are you doing alright? Someone do something to you?" Her ears perked up listening for a reply

Persy looked up at the cat sitting on the high wall. A large grin formed on her face. "Just the cat I was looking for!" she said brightly. She looked up at the high wall, curiously. "Well sort of looking anyway." she said with a smile. She didn't want to seem needy. Needy was the sort of thing that got cats into trouble. She could take care of herself. She had even proved it to herself. She was just sick of doing so now. "I'm fine. Just looking for a little company." she said quietly.
She then looked up at the wall again curiously. "What are you up to Schmee?" she asked curiously. She had to admit the cat had a good sense of hearing and good eyes to see her from all the way down when she wasn't really paying attention. Persy really had to sharpen her senses. Being a house cat from birth had dulled her senses to the point of stupidity.

"I'm on guard duty, making sure no baddies get to close" She purred proudly, "Why don't you climb up that tree and join me,"She flicked her headto the over hanging tree that was currently shading her perch. "that way we don't have to yell and I can stay hidden." she winked. "I know you have no problems climbing trees anymore."
She walk down the wall a bit to make room for Persy to jump off the branch on to the wall. "Just don't miss the landing it's a long way down, even if you land on your feet it will still hurt like hell."

Persy grinned. "Id love to join you." She was proud to call herself one of the best tree climbing cats around. She liked being high off the ground. It made her feel safe and when she had just gotten into the wild it was the only place she could sleep. Otherwise she would stay up all night, afraid to be in another cats territory. So climbing a tree was easy to her.
So she clawed her way up the tree with the grace that could be expected from a cat like her. She made the landing easy and sat up beside Schmee on the wall. "So is this where you live?" she asked curiously.

"Well I live over there in the NyanMan’s Mansion," pointing out the nearby apartment building. "lots of room there for more cats if you ever get tired of living in the trees on your own. Of course you have to be willing to protect the territory. We have a lot of conflicts do to the legend of the wild cat's collar that is supposedly hidden there somewhere, but I really don't know to much about that. I'd be happy to vouch for you" She rambled on while watching all the passer-byes below, she was still on the job after all. It was nice to have company weather or not Persy was interesting in Joining the territory.

Persy grinned. If almost seemed as if Schmee was reading her mind. Truthfully Persy was looking for a territory to live in. A place to spend time with other cats. She could chip in and be a guard cat for them as well. She was stronger then before so she could actually help and not feel completely useless.
"I must admit that that's one of the reasons why I was looking for you in the first place. I'm kind of sick of being alone. I'm looking to move into a territory and you're one of my only friends. I would love to join this territory!" she said excitedly.

"Oh!" she perked up and looked straight at Persy. "You really want to join." She said kinda excited at the shock of one of her friends actually taking her offer, it was going to be nice to have her around, though, she still might need a little training in sensory perception.
"I'm still on duty, but if you want to wait with me I'll take you over, as soon as I am relieved of my post here." She hoped Persy wouldn't change her mind while they waited. "It will be nice to have you."

Persy grinned broadly. She didn't realise it would so easy to actually join a territory but she could help but be excited. It had been such a long time since she had lived with someone, and she had never lived with other cats before. It would be a new experience but it would be an adventure and she was so excited about it. "Okay! I'll try help if I can! I can't wait to actually join the territory! I wont have to sleep on my own anymore!" she said excitedly;. She then quited down, remembering that Schmee was on duty and thus they wern't supoosed to bring attention to themselves.

"just keep your eyes and ears open for me while we are here" she smiles the traffic on the path below had picked up, as more people, cats and dogs were awake and rushing about, but the time passed quickly enough and soon Schmee's replacement was there, He took a quick look at Persy before he allowed her to pass, but Schmee made sure Persy wouldn't be detained by him. And then they set off to the apartment building. "just don't act meek in front of men here, this territory is know for it's tough cats, but with that weapon on yours I'm sure you will do fine." She said eying the sharp blade.

Persy followed Schmee with slight nervousness. She knew that she'd have to prove that she was capable of being a valued member of the territory. She'd have to meet a load of cat's she had never met before. No matter how far she had gotten since she had been abandoned last autumn she still wasn't the best fighter in the world. But she was sick of being alone so she would such it up and deal with it. "Okay I will try my best." she said softly. She had been threatening before, she could do it again. She was nervous but also excited. She touched the sharp blade carefully and smiled. It would keep her safe, and it's size always helped intimidate the enemy.

As they approached the building Schmee told Persy more "That is NyanMan’s Mansion. 'The Old Man' is the leader of this territory, he is kinda a pervert, but he is smarter and stronger then he looks. He really is a good leader and has lots of experience to fall back on." Schmee hoped he would go to far after seeing Persy's body. "Daily training is an essential part of life at the Mansion and the cats who reside there are not weak in the slightest. So I hope we can find you someone to teach you how to properly use your weapon" They came up to a low window that was cracked and Schmee paused there. "If the old man likes you, then you are in, if he wants to test you in a mock battle fight with your full heart in it. okay Persy?" She waited for the answer before slipping through the window.
