"AHHHHHHH!!!!" The high pitched scream rang out of the Mayors office into the villiage of Silver Lune...
After the creation of life in Silver Lune Valley, the people prospered, businesses flourished. The people were happy. Leslie Fireheart was the first Mayor of Silver Lune, a Mayor elect by the people.
It wasn't often that a car would go through Silver Lune, but this was an extreme circumstance. A harsh wailing rang through the town...
50 AC [After civilization], Leslie decided to step down from his post as Mayor. He passed his son the Key to the Town. Leslie shook Crispin's hand and stepped down off the podium, grabbing Crispin's only son, Oliver. His grandson smiled at him, only a few months old. He knew that Oliver would one day take the place of his son Crispin.
The Mayor's secretary was in hysterics. What a tragic sight...
In 85 AC Crispin smiles at his son. The traditional passing of the Key ceremony was around again. Crispin made a wonderful speech about how he remembered the day, 35 years ago, when his Father handed over the Key to Silver Lune. His baby grandson Dennis started crying, and he let Oliver take the stand.
The Ambulance van pulled into the hospital out of town. Doctors rushed about the victim. The head doctor shook her head and pronounced the time of Death...
100 AC and a young man strolls onto the stage. He looks out over the people with a wide grin. His hair slicked back, a gleam in his eye. His father pat him on the shoulder and gave him a smile. "You will do well Dennis. Make your Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather proud my boy. Make us proud, and carry on our legacy."
Half an hour ago, Mayor Dennis Fireheart had finished writing up lease papers. He smiled and poured himself some lemonade. He was looking out the window having a look at the birds of spring. Suddenly a tingling sensation went up the mans arm. His glass dropped to the floor, shattering loudly. Lemonade and ice along with glass shards spilled across the floor. Dennis gripped his arm and fell to his knees. His side felt numb and he couldn't breathe. He groped for the phone on his desk, knocking the receiver off the the set, mashing whatever his buttons he could. He gripped his chest, and with a sharp intake of breath he collapsed on the floor. ...Present Moment... Doctor Sharins shook her head and sighed. "He is dead." A tear rolled down her cheek as she went to make the phone-call to inform the citizens of Silver Lune.
"You will do well Dennis. Make your Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather proud my boy. Make us proud, and carry on our legacy."

Seri sat down and began crying lightly. The mayor that everyone loved was now gone. She wondered who would now take over as mayor. It was a scary feeling that things might change now in Silver Lune.

Seeing the girl crying, Timothy decided to give her one of the Moondrop flowers that he was carrying. The rest of the bunch laid down on the Mayor's grave.

Roxana walked into the cemetery with tears in her eyes. She hated the place because of all the people she was close to buried there. She put a flower that she had collected in the mountains earlier down on the mayors stone. She then went to her fathers and placed on down on his.

Arwen walked along side Roxana. Just like her friend she stopped at the mayor's stone before visiting members of her family. Namely her aunt, uncle and her grandmothers. Arwen's father hobbled along side her the whole time. Family was important to the old man and he took care to brush the dirt off his son's and wives graves. The man then turned to Albert Beaumont's grave and brushed that off too. The aging man thought of Albert and his daughter as his family.

Kayoni walked over to the Mayor's grave. She looked at the grave, and though it was hard, she tried not to cry. It would have only made it worse. Kayoni laid a Moondrop Flower on his grave. Slowly and with deep sadness, she walked away, and began to cry.

Solemly, Mei stepped towards the grave. She produced three incense sticks in her hand, each one already slowly burning. She bowed, chanted something quickly, and silently stuck them in front of the grave with her eyes closed. Mei began tearing when she saw the others crying. They were sobbing as they placed flowers on the headstone. She stepped to the the side as other residents came to pay their respects.
