Her Mom accepted her decision to come to Magica del Arcadia, but her Dad rejected the whole idea, and locked Amy in her room so she'd miss the bus. However, Amy is an adventurous person - she slipped out her bedroom window and met the bus anyway.

Amy stepped off the bus nervously. This was it - her new home for the next four years of her life. Already, the school looked promising. The wide campus grounds were blanketed with lush grass, with a forest in the distance. The school itself was a huge stone castle. The midafternoon sunlight was warm and welcoming. Amy shrugged off her jacket, and let the gentle breeze play over her arms. She walked up the gravel path to the imposing oak doors, took a deep breath, and stepped inside.
