Once a midnight dark and dreary there was a scream heard round the the town of Isura that shattered the small town and transformed it into something that the world feared.

In one night half the population died one fourth of the population was changed into something new, something deadly, and it took different forms. A few became cold as ice and feared the cross, a few grew hair and feared loss, a few transformed into beast aplenty and did not know what to do with themselves and there new form, some grew ears that many feared and became wiser and more deadly at the same time, and lastly a few stayed outwordly human but gained something dark inside of them. They gained the magic that causes many things to happen, be they good things or bad, that comes from the great goddess that watches over all as a gift that would not be taken back by the goddes no matter what those who had it did with it.

in this world there will be many different races to chose from and many different subcatagories. What race you charecter is is souly dependendent on what you want to do with their soul as long as it isn't something impossible to kill. there will be deaths throught this, there will be fights, but for those that survive the magic and the mayhem there is a new life awaiting them as an individual and as a power to be held in respect by humans. The basic races are: Vampire, Werewolf, shape-shifter, witch, necromancer, elf, but if you have a powerfull imagination the door is open to create your own unique race.

Race: Vampiric Angel
Abilities: can fly, summon the air to help him attack his foes, can attack peoples minds without even attacking their flesh, can see peoples souls, can communicate with the dead
Likes: discussions about the afterlife, talking to those that are dead, the scent of fresh blood spilled from a willing victim
Dislikes: those who won't let the world change around them, people who segrigate by race or sexuality, pointless arguments
Personality: normally flamboyent, but when angered he will strike with the anger of the gods and the ruthlessness of the monguls, somewhat intelectual but never aregent, willing to learn, but not willing to forget the past and let the horrors of life come again

Likes: Music. Fish. Singing. Teasing her best friends. The thought of love. Sophia Loren. Vivian Leigh. Clark Gable. Gaspard Ulliel.
Dislikes: Annoying boys. Guys who are prettier than her. People getting in her way. Not getting her way.
Personality: She's completely random and fun-loving; with a serious side. She's usually shy, but once she knows you, CRAZY TIME =D She loves sheep, fish and octopus as pets. She's out there. And she loves it.

Race: Elf witch Vampire.

Abilities: Karissa is very close with nature, due to being an Elf, she discovered that she can cast spells, which meant she was an elf witch. She needs blood to survive.

Background: When Karissa died, she ended up changing into an elf witch. Her brother Keenan changed into a vampire. When Keenan found out that Karissa would continue to age and die, he turned her into a vampire. Keenan was not the friendliest guy. He messed with the wrong people, and he ended up being killed.

Likes: Blood, casting spells, being outside, being around other people, parties, researching her race, flirting.

Dislikes: People bringing up her brother, when something happens to hurt nature.

Personality: Karissa is kind, but has a mean side. She had to learn to stand up for herself when her brother died, and sometimes she goes overboard with it. She loves to make friends and loves to be around people.

Ismu woke up after the change occured and felt that there was something different about him then when he went to bed, what Ismu didn't yet know is that the entire town had changed in one night and he was now more of an individual then he ever thought he would be able to be. As Ismu stood up in his room he looked over to the mirror that he had and started screaming, "i am a monster." because when he looked at the reflection of himself he saw his nude body but he also saw a pair of black wings that were not there before he went to bed and he realised that something had happened to the town. Ismu walked out of the house to see that there was no one in the house other then him and he felt an ery quite over the town and he knew that the world that he had become part of was not the world that he knew and he needed a new name. When he thought about a name one came to him in a millasecond that he had no idea where it came from, "my new name is Ismu." he said to himself and went back inside the house to put on a dark outfit that reflected his soul

Samantha was walking with her friends down the Boulevard. She loved the city. Her eyes widened at the concert hall.

"Someday..."she thought to herself. She walked with her best friends, Elizabeth and Aiden, her crush. She felt like telling him, when Elizabeth was gone that is; that she liked him.

Elizabeth looked at Aiden and Samantha and told them she was going to go to the Sephora down the block.

"This is my chance..." Samantha thought. "Be careful, Lizzie!"she called out to her friend.

Aiden smiled warmly at her, "Wanna hang out at the Cafe?"

The Cafe was a little restaurant that they usually hung out at whenever they came to the Boulevard.

"Sure,"Samantha responded; trying to hide her blushing cheeks. It was December, so thankfully, she could blame the cold.

They walked in silence down two blocks, only 3 left till they reached the Cafe.

Samantha looked at him.

He smiled warmly. "Hey, Sam, can I ask you something?"

"Sure. What is it?"

"What do girls like?"

She was confused. "Huh?"

He chuckled. "Well, I wanted to get Rebecca a present."

"Whose Rebecca?" she asked; fearing in her heart the worst.

"My girlfriend."

Samantha kept walking. Rebecca Cory. She was the head cheerleader, Jr. Honor Soceity President, not to mention absolutely beautiful. Samantha never stood a chance; even though she'd known him longer. Her iPod began playing the "White Horse" cover by Stephen Jerzak. She couldn't hear anything except Stephen's voice; reminding her of her heartbreak.

"SAMANTHA!!!"

She looked back at Aiden. His brown eyes were widened and he was running towards her.

She turned around and became paralyzed in her tracks.

A huge semitruck rammed Samantha across the Boulevard.

Her iPod continued playing the sad song; her breath ending.

Where am I...? It's so peaceful...just here...

She opened her eyes. She was in a black abyss. She could see herself; presently. Mangled and dead. Aiden crying over her.

A white light engulfed her.

There was a breif moment of pain before she blacked out.

She was in a white room. She looked around and saw a mirror. Walking over to it, her eyes widened.

Her appearance was altered. She touched her face. Was she dreaming...?

Once ismu got dressed after having to rip some holes in his shirt to let his wings out, Ismu walked outside his house again and started walking down the street to see if anyone was alive and if they were, did they have a change like the change that had taken plave with him. As he walked down the main road of the city he yelled, " is anyone there?" hoping that he wouldn't meet something that wanted to kill him

Samantha touched the head of pink hair.

It belonged to her all right.

"Whoa, it's really soft and silky."

She smiled. Might not be so bad after all.

She went through the closet and started designing an outfit.

With this figure, anything and EVERYTHING would look amazing.

How come it was empty?

She started walking around, not paying attention to where she was going but aweing at the sight.

This town was beautiful. Not too big, not too small. Just right.

Ismu finally got fed up with trying to find people and didn't want to walk anymore so he flew himself down to the village center and waited hoping that someone would come and he wouldn't be so alone even though it propably wouldn't chagne how alone he felt since everyone that he knew seemed to be dead

"Kay. It's waay to empty."

She walked around in circles before sitting on the ground.

"Hmph."

She smiled sadly and started to sing. It was always conforting to her either way.

Ismu heard enchanting music being sung from somewhere near and Ismu couldn't help but fly overtop the buildings to try and find where the music was coming from and he saw it was coming from someone that was pink haired, "hey!" Ismu yelled as he flew down to this person and when he got to this person he realised it was a wonderfull looking woman, " hey so i am not alone." Ismu said looking at her with a smile

Ismu realised that he might have scared the girl, "sorry if i scared you. i am Ismu. i was looking for other people that were still alive when i heard your wonderfull song. it is absolutely lovely and melodic. are you a singer as a profession?" Ismu asked trying to be nice
