ok, first off i got a new video up on my youtube so comment up please and thanks
also i asked my instructor about being a professional dancer and she is going to help me.
but i need help finding some good music..CABARET PLEASE!!!
YES I KNOW I KNOW!!! i know more than 50% of us are tribal or gothic, but i think i'll start cabaret first then work my way up to where i want to be, gothic.
comments, suggestions?

Go to your local Borders and pick up any of the Bellydance SuperStar CDs. I got one, and was very disappointed at the lack of Tribal music on it. lol
Most of it is modern hindi with vocals.

i would, but i'm starting cabaret. i think its a nice fundamental base
i don't mind BDSS but i'd like to find some really good OLD OLD OLD anceint my great great great grandmother's time's music.

Like drum music?
Look for something that's like "Middle Eastern Dumbek". There's this CD around called "Rythem Rides" and it teaches drumming, but also has alot of basic drum rythems on it. Baladi, Mocsoom, Masmudi...yadda yadda.
Borders has an excellent assortment of "Classic Middle Eastern Drum" sort of things in their World section.
