Um... some of you already know me, but for those of you who don't... Hi, I'm Maggie! I'm new to this whole gaia thing. I?m 16, have long brown hair, hazel eyes. I have a boyfriend. His name's Mike and I love him more than anything. He's the best! I really don?t care what people think of me or if they like me or not. If I?ve got something to say, I say it. I love all animals and nature? well except for spiders and roaches and the like? icky. Um... yeah, I think that's pretty much it.

Yay I set a trend!! (thats rare not many follow me) I think thats cool that you like pink aaron theres a guy at my school with a shirt thats pink that says "only tough guys wear pink" and i think its neat cause colors are colors none of them are feminine nor masculine. I like learning about you guys. Its really fun to know how other peoples lives are like. (and poor santa clause and mean old jack hurting him and giving me 5 extra pairs of pants and one extra belt stare )

When I was in 4th or 5th grade, I told everyone that I was Pagan. The backlash was horrible. All my friends had to ask questions- rude ones. Their moms all had to try to convert me. Everyone wanted to take me to church. My mom was kewl with it though ^.^
Then, I went to middle school, started discovering who I really was, and didn't tell everyone up front, but didn't keep it a secret either. Then I started to notice that I liked girls and boys, and then I got the backlash from that and all my friends were maniacly rude and destructive towards me, completely butchering what little ego I had left. *nod nod* Good stuff. That's when I started getting all emo and such.
THEN, I went to highschool, and everything changed. I was away from everyone from my middle school, and I told everyone that I was bi and Pagan, and found out most of my friends were too. Some of those freinds have gone (the self-destructive ones who got tired of me being to happy to deal with their constant need for attention and drugs) and I am left with the mature, happy ones who can deal with life.. *nod nod* Very good stuff.
So, do I regret telling people my "taboo" interests? Not at all. I put up with a lot of bull but in the end it really was better. People just grow up eventually. biggrin
