It was the day before the sakura festival. Akino walked out of the Juunibantai labs. She was carrying a vial that Mikoto-taichou handed to her earlier. She walked to the Ichibantai office. She preferred to walk rather then using shunpo to arrive there. She wanted to observe nature while she was heading to the office.
As she arrived she bowed down at one of the Ichibantai soul reapers. She knocked on the Soutaichou's door. " Oba, Akino Hachibantai Taichou. I need to speak with the Soutaichou immediately." she said, lowering her hands as it rested on her zanpaktou's hilt.

Kira was sitting in his office doing mindless paperwork when he heard a knock at the door. "The door is open, Oba-taichou," he called from his desk, setting aside his work to look up and smile at her warmly. "What can I do for you?"

Akino peeked then blinked. "Kira-pon!" She said playfully, smiling warmly back at the blond. She entered the soutaichou's office then closed the door. She approached the office table then stood in front of Kira. "Tomorrow will be everyone's day off, because of the Sakura Festival. You probably have your date with Mi-chan neh?" She interrogated, her smile shifted to a mischievous grin.
She noticed the blond's stressful eyes, staring at it for a while. She closed her eyes then sighed. "We still have to be aware of our surroundings. We don't want the past to repeat again, neh?" She opened her eyes, her orange orbs pierced his blue ones. "I just came from the Juunibantai Lab. I asked Mikoto-taichou if she could copy Mayuri's formula of the superhuman serum. " She added, her tone a bit serious.
She placed the vial gently on the table. "The serum can amplify one's reiatsu by 50%. It increases the speed by 25 % and regeneration by 20% . There are nine more in Mi-chan's closet in the Juunibantai Lab. I am not saying that we'll use this now, but this is just a suggestion for our upcoming fight with Aizen." She flipped her hair away from her shoulders, then rested her hand on the hilt of her zanpaktou. "What say you, Soutaichou?" she asked, her bewildering eyes stared at him.

Kira's face turned the slightest shade of pink when Akino mentioned the red haired taichou and he nodded slightly. "I..haven't asked her yet, but I plan to.." Kira picked up the vial that Akino set on his desk, examining it carefully. "I feel that this will help us, so I say that this is a brilliant idea. Will she be able to make more, or is that all?"

She chuckled at what Kira said when he planned to ask the red head for a date. "Well unless you seduce her to..." She smiled, teasing the soutaichou. She sat on the chair then crossed her legs, she leaned her chin on her palm while her elbow rested on the soutaichou's table.
"Well she could, since she already knew the formula, but we..." She shook her head. "No, You... You must choose the soul reapers wisely. Who ever will drink the serum, must use it for the good and they must not abuse it." She suggested, twirling her hair.

Kira thought for a moment then nodded. "I think ten will do just fine. Thank you for bringing this to my attention, Oba-taichou." The blond stood, still holding the vial. "I'll take this back to Hibiki-taichou for safe keeping." He of course had other reasons for taking it himself, and was sure that Akino knew that as well, but didn't want to speak them out loud.

She almost knew about the soutaichou's plans when he mentioned that he'll take it back to Mikoto, since Mikoto gave that to Akino for her to keep. She disregarded that by staying quiet so that the blond's plan will go smoothly.
She giggled, closing her mouth. She stood up then bowed at the captain. "I hope you enjoy your bonding... I mean date with our beloved Juunibantai captain." She couldn't help but giggle, patting Kira on the shoulder. "Thank you for listening." she smiled warmly at the blond.
