The ShoreThe shore of the beach.  Small rocks and shells litter the sand, and a soft beeze blows across the water.

 Ben stumbled onto the beach. Why....?Why did this place seem so familiar? The image of the girl appeared as he closed his eyes and slowly dissipated as his opened them. Ben sunk down into the sand, and hugged his knees to his chest. He stared out to sea. The dream wouldn't leave his head, Who was that girl?!
He slid his legs out and slapped his hands to his face. "She seems so familiar, but I can't remember anything!" Ben said to himself.

The sound of the seagulls and the waves crashing was calming, but it wasn't enough to clear his mind. Ben let out a sigh of depression.

Czarina and Misa were chatting all the way to the shore while Zaylin lagged behind a little. If anyone saw the three of them, they'd wonder if he was even a part of their group.
Czarina suddenly stopped, and looked out at the sea water. She took a deep breath of the fresh, salty air, and then ran out towards the edge of the beach. She stretched, and then put her hands behind her head. "Man...this place is great. I bet there's a lot of swim contests here and stuff." She said, grinning with the idea of some kind of sports competition.
Zaylin looked the shore over, and noticed another figure on the beach. He squinted a little, and realized after a few moments of staring that it was another person from the day before: Ben. Ben didn't seem so intimidating, at least, not as intimidating as Misa. He decided to take a seat on the land a bit behind where the other boy was by a few yards. He didn't move to say anything, and was a little annoyed with Czarina. Why'd she drag him here?

A presence was felt around him as he picked his face out of his hands, to see Czarina, Zaylin, and Misa arrive on the beach. Feeling a bit reclusive, he hugged his knees to his chest again, and placed his forehead on his knees.
His eyes closed, and the girl appeared again, which frustrated Ben. He still couldn't recall anything about her. Ben quickly lifted his head off of his knees when the girl appeared, and just stared out to sea.

Czarina turned to look over at Zaylin. Even though Zaylin didn't like swimming like she did, Zaylin enjoyed fishing. She was going to ask him about whether he'd like to fish at the marvelous beach, with it's shining waters and such.
"Hey, Zay, look at--" She stopped abruptly when she noticed Ben on the shore. She gave a quizzical look, then grinned.
"Hey, Ben!" She called out, walking up towards him. She noticed that he looked really preoccupied, and a little down. "What's up, bud?" She said, standing a little before him. He moved her hat a little so that the sun wasn't burning into her eyes.

"Huh?! Wha'?!" Ben exclaimed as he flinched from the sudden interaction by Czar. He thought of what to say to her, without it sounding weird. "I can't remember..." he finally mustered up some words after a few minutes of thinking. "I can't remember anything, there is a girl who keeps running through my thoughts, but I recall nothing of her." He slid his legs out again, pushing the sand into little piles at his feet.
"All I know is that, Her name is Mint, and we apparently were In Love with each other. But if we were so in love....why can't I remember her. Who Is She?!"

"Oh..." Czarina said, rubbing the back of her neck and looking down a little. She didn't know much about love, nor did she really know much about deep relationships with people, either. She looked up into the clear blue sky, her eyes glazing over a little in thought.
"Sorry, I can't help much there..." She said, looking back at the boy. She put her hand behind her head again. "But...if you really want my opinion, maybe you faced some kinda...deep trauma...? And so you can't remember her...?" She turned around and shuffled her feet a bit. Usually she didn't notice awkward atmospheres, but she sure as hell did right now.

''Trauma?!'' Ben asked, "Too Bad I can't remember the incident that did this to me" He slowly started to bring his knees to his chest again. "Don't worry about me..." he said sadly, "I don't want to make you feel awkward...I can sort this out myself." Ben sighed, and quietly said to himself, "I hope...."

Now, Czarina felt super guilty.
"Man, Ben, I'm sorry...I guess I'm not too experienced in that field." She said, deciding to sit next to him. It was weird to see him so seclusive and sad compared to the eccentric monkey she saw in him yesterday. She shook her head.
"Well, maybe it's time's way to tell you that you gotta get over it...?" She said. "Sorry if I sound so pessimistic. I really have no clue what to tell you. I'm about as lost as you are, if not more."

In a sense, Ben had already let go, seeing as he can't even remember, but he was also hanging on to the question 'Who exactly was she and what happened to her?'
"No, that wasn't pessimistic. I understand what you mean." He sighed again, "But it's just hard, because I don't even know who she was exactly, or what happened to her..." Ben said, looking over at Czar as she sat down next to him.

 "Aww, Ben, I'm sure when you're ready to remember you will. I remember watching on this one movie where this girl had multiple personalities and didn't know why- anyway- she couldn't remember something because she didn't want to because it was so... I forget the word. But it was like drastic and stuff," Misa said nodding. She glanced over at Zaylin, and vacillated over whether or not she should go and talk to the introvert.
She dug her feet into the sand and wiggled her toes, enjoying the warmth.

Czarina let out a sigh of relief. She wasn't so good with helping people out with relationships and love and all that stuff. She let out another sigh of relief when Misa came and sort of took over for her. She must've known her stuff. At least, that's the kind of person she seemed like.
Czarina leaned back and called out for Zaylin. "Zay! Don't be a sucker and hang out with us!" She tilted her hat so that the tongue would hide her eyes as she smiled. She knew he'd be pretty aggravated.
Indeed, he was. He grumbled a little, sticking his hands into his pockets. He stumbled a little coming down from the upper landing, causing him to blush a little. He silently cursed his sister for making him get out of his comfortable spot, though he knew that he'd enjoy it much more if he wasn't alone. He plopped down next to Czarina.

He sighed again, "If I could just have any sort help as to who she was...then maybe I could get over this." Ben laid back in the sand and sprawled out. Another sigh came from his mouth. "Maybe Garet knew who Mint was...and can help me remember as well." Ben said softly, "But the problem is.....I don't know where he is."
Ben grew impatient of waiting for an answer, all of the things running through his head lead him to be that way. He wanted an answer now, if only there was a way to find Mint. Even Garet would suffice; Ben was 110% sure that he would have some guidance for him.

Misa's eyes widened in a spontaneous recollection as a familiar face came back to mind. "Mint? Didn't you have affections for her, way back when?" she mentioned excitedly. "I know I've seen her at the Broken Bird with me, she was definitely there."
"Zaylin, no worries, we don't bite. I won't judge you for your inability to keep track of two contacts," Misa said jovially as she waited for a response, trying to prod him into conversation. Introverted people had a tendency to vex her, she enjoyed talking and liveliness. "You should learn to be more talkative, it's okay if it's about something frivolous because talking in general is what teaches you to be outgoing." She considered the possibility that lecturing people to be outgoing is ineffective, but she pushed the thought away, preferring to be illogical to satiate her curiosity over this introverted boy.

Ben shot up from his relaxed position, eyes wide, "You Remember Her?!" Ben shouted at Misa, hopefully. "Anything that you remember about her, please tell me....All I know is that we were "in love" " Ben said using air quotations, "Her name was Mint, and she apparently moved away. Do you have anything else?"
Ben realized how desperate he sounded at this moment, but he didn't care. He just wanted answers, so he could move on with his life.
