You should do what god says. I don't think you should lie. if you sue and you were lying you could get into a lot of trouble. You would also feel really bad if you lied. I hope things turn out alright. if you want to talk you can pm me. Trust in god and he will guide you threw it

Another thing I just remembered. Jesus said to, if at all possible, settle things with the person on the way to court. That going to court needlessly creates division. He was talking about "lawsuits among believers" (the section title. I can't remember the exact verse. I'm sure your local pastor would know it though.), but I think the same applies to all people. Why create needless strife in this already hate-filled world? Why not just show this person God's love and forgive him?

the word 'christian' came from a latin term meaning 'little Christ'. We should all strive to live up to this title.

Lieing for personal gain is pretty selfish, aside from being a sin in the first place. Gratuitus lawsuits are a large part of the issues threatening the national economy. People sue over hte dumbest things, and the sad part is...they win most times.

Do you really want to get something from a lie that will cause harm to another family? You guys were horseplaying, something that kids do on a dailybasis. And sometimes kids get hurt, thats a fact of life.

Suing may benefit you in the long run, but think of the effect it will have on the other family. They may not be able to afford to "pay off" a large settlement. Is your injury life altering serious? Is it going to keep you from being able to one day earn a living? If not, is it really worth possibly ruining another fmailies life, over a school kid game?

You deffinately should NOT lie about it. If you have forgiven him, then tell your parents. They really can't sue him if you don't want to. Well, they can, but I mean I don't think they would if you tell them everything is okay now. (a side note: my mom sort of steals things, like if she breaks something, she brings it back and says it was broken and gets her money back for it. And sometimes she asks me to lie for her. And I refuse to take part in her lies. Sometimes she gets mad at me, but she gets over it.)

I would not sue. A good left hook works wonders.

when your parents are making you sin, you no longer can really listen to them.

if my father told me to do that, i would immediatly reevaluate what i did for him and why. i know this is probably over and done with..but...sinning is wrong. no matter what. the bible has always been clear on that.
