A friend of mine suggested that we create a steam-powered tree-hugging machine. It got my proverbial gears turning, and this resulted:

For irony's sake, wood is burned to heat the water. ;]

I took a walk in the woods with friends and took pictures of roadkill... earth day... yay.

Allow me to explain, In the summer I work at the Pennsylvania Renaissance faire. My friends and I walk the woods looking for bones and when we find decomposing animals, we take photos so that when the sun and nature have done their job, we can return and reap their bones. Bones look cool, and people love them. Unlike some who choose to hunt, I choose to harvest.

That's an excellent idea... how often do you find the bones missing, though? I would think that other animals may get to them first...

That pic is adorable. I especially like the fact that it loves trees, and eats them too. XD

Indeed quite often they do go missing. But a lot of times what I stumble across in the woods are pieces of roadkill that animals have already dragged away and are too far gone for eating. Sometimes also if you're willing to touch the things, hanging them from trees is a good idea... though if people stumble accross them they may find it a bit... odd?
