The city they say is like a jungle. You either survive it or end up eatten alive by it. Two people now have to see if they can make it on their own. In the careers they want and in there personal lives. Can they balance everything or will they end up like everyone else they know. One on one rp..that means what only two people LOL. Jaz was heading towards the local bar. Her go see had gone very bad. Sure she was skinny but they told her she needed to lose more weight. She opened up the door to see that it was pretty full. "Wow..today must of sucked for everyone." She mumbled taking a seat.

The bartender nodded. "It's been pretty hard, these days. Heard the stock market dropped or something like that. Well, where there's a bad day, there's also a good day." He served the customer that came in before her and turned back to her. "So, what will it be for today?"

Jaz laughed. "Eh I could care less about the stockmarket really." She rubbed her head a bit. "I don't see a great day coming out of this one thanks." She thought about it for a moment then looked up. "I'll have a long island ice tea."

"Coming right up," He put the usual liquors into a mixer and began shaking it. "It just occurred to me that we've never actually been introduced, even after the last few times you visited our tavern." The bartender poured the mixed drink into a highball glass and placed it in front of the girl. "Kane Ganner, at your service." "Stop flirting with the customers, Kane! We ain't got enough time fer chitchat!" came a voice from behind the door to his right. "Sorry, Boss!" He yelled back. "Let's continue this when I get off work in a few minutes, kay?"

Jaz laughed a bit when she heard the boss. She took a sip of her drink. "Sure." She said then turning to look at a T.V. A few more people walked in and sat at the bar. She smirked drinking more of her ice tea. She saw the boss walk out and waved at him. Since going there her first time she got to know most of the staff except for Kane.
((Yes..yes he is. 3nodding hehe))

Kane finished work after another hour and headed out the door to a nearby cafe. He put a rosary back on his necklace, taking a seat near the back of the cafe. Hopefully, she's interested enough to follow.

Jaz finished her drink then paid and walked out the door. She followed him and looked at the cafe. "Hahah my old job." She said as she went to the back and found him. Jaz took a seat and smiled a bit. "I had never seen you at that bar much before..Your the only person that I didn't know."

Kane nodded. "That's because I just moved here a couple months ago." He turned to the waitress that appeared and ordered a strawberry latte. "Order whatever you like. I just got paid, after all."

"Ahh well welcome." Jaz smiled then ordered a carmel iced coffee. "Thank you for paying to." She looked around then looked at Kane. "I used to work here when I was 16. Everyone that worked here then still works here." She laughed. "So what made you move here to this place?"

"You're welcome." Kane laid back onto the back of the seat. "I decided that it was time for a change and picked the first place that I saw on a map." He gave her a smile that looked almost sincere. "Does that mean that you know everybody here?"

"Interesting choice you made, but a lot of people move here for that reason." Then she looked around the cafe at all the lights then the people. "Yup..in this cafe I know everyone and everyone knows me." She smiled. "Plus growing up here helps to know most of the people." Jaz turned her head towards him.
