Name: Elst
Gender: Male-ish
Age: Not entirely sure, but he models his body to make sure it looks around 24.
Physical description: First and foremost, he's a plant. He shaped himself to look like a human male, but certain features, such as his skin, still show plant-like qualities, such as being, say, green. He seems fairly closely related to the climbing rose plant as well, because he'll occasionally sprout roses when he's not fully focusing on appearing human. He's tall [around 6'8"], lean, with pale, almost greenish skin, and wheat-blonde hair. He wears largely green clothing, with moss green slacks and shirt, and a darker green overcoat. This overcoat is full of both inside and outside pockets, most filled with gardening tools, seeds, or other such things. His eyes, to put it simply, are very, very green, not 'emerald' or anything like that, and are framed by a pair of green-tinted sunglasses. While working in his gardens at his Nursery, he wears thick work boots, which quickly become filthy, but at all other times he wears a pair of woven leather sandals. Here is a reference picture I drew of him, but keep in mind that he does not usually carry around a sword, the one pictured there is simply there so I could draw him holding something. And those vines on his face? He finds the human face to be difficult to imitate, and has to reconstruct his occasionally. The vines are there simply to act sort of like bandages until the reconstruction is finished. Last but not least, Here is a TekTek I made of him. It's a bit rough.

Personality: Elst is generally very cheerful, and welcoming to new people. However, due to his non-human origins, he doesn’t grasp social behavior too well and thus is a tad clueless when it comes to society. He is otherwise good around other people, and has no hesitation in attempting to befriend others. This does however occasionally create awkwardness.
History/Back-story: Basically, he lives, and has lived, in his element. He's a plant after all, and feels most comfortable living in a forest. However, seeing as forests are rather rare nowadays, he's managed to save up to buy a failing nursery on the outskirts of Vargash, where land is fairly cheap, and has since brought it back to life due to his knowledge of how to get plants to flourish. His home is in the middle of the Nursery’s land.
Other: In his free time, he will either go shopping for new seeds to plant and grow in his nursery, or will try and help plant trees for the scarce forests of Drente. He knows very little magic, but what he does know he does well in, as it specializes in the nourishment and development of plants. On a somewhat unrelated note, he enjoys having houseguests and feeding people. He also carries at least a single flask of his own blend of extremely bitter tea at all times, as he finds it relaxing to drink.

The RP Prompt
Your character receives an inconspicuous private mail from Essential Biotics Inc. in which they are invited to the shop. They are offered, in a rather roundabout way, the opportunity to help revive the lost procedure of creating Essentics. In exchange for discretion, they will acquire their own individual Essentic, which they will legally own like a tool.

Mud still fresh on his shoes, Elst returned from the outer gardens, into the lobby of his nursery. Hearing the bell attached to the door ring while he was outside, he’d come to check for customers. There was no one there, however, and no sign of anyone coming in save for a crisp white envelope marked only by ‘Essential Biotics, Inc.’.

With a somewhat quizzical glance, Elst picked the envelope up and opened it, to reveal a full-length letter inside. He read it with a somewhat uninterested sigh, until he realized just what it implied. It dropped to the floor, a shocked expression on his face. He hardly even remembered having picked it back up as he rushed out the door.

I can't believe they still exist...

Through some means of transportation Elst couldn’t quite recall in his state of distracted euphoria, he arrived at the somewhat nondescript storefront. His rather calm demeanor belied his inward excitement. He entered the building, and approached the rather refined-looking man at the counter, placing the letter face-up on the counter between them, making it perfectly clear why he had came. A very slight haste to the pace of his breath, Elst spoke but two words;

“I accept.”

|~|-Banning I DeLonghy - Intriguing fellow, really. He's got quite the reserve built around him yet there seems to be some inward friendliness buried in there somewhere.

|~|-Doctor Mei Lecter - I haven't met her face-to-face, but as reclusive as she apparently is, it'll likely be a while 'till I get to talk to her, unfortunately.

|~|-Kyru - Sadly enough, I know as much of him as I do his owner.

|~|-Miss Timka Longway - With her...I finally have joy in my life.

|~|-Misha - As Miss Longway began spending more time with me, I got a better glimpse of Misha as well... He's so loving, so caring about the other Essentics, he's truly a delight to have around. I try to show him that he is welcome in my home absolutely any time.

|~|-Verdant Lindstrom - My, he's quite the interesting nymph...Absolutely deserving of my trust, though, and I'm more than happy to have him as my only employee. He handles things excellently, I must say. I would think it is safe to say he is the closest friend I have made ever since first obtaining Aoi.

|~|-Orpheus - An eccentric Essentic if I ever saw one. You can definitely see the qualities he got from Verdant. He brings out a whole new side in Aoi; I must say their infatuation is rather sweet.

|~|-Shade Flereous - Shy beyond all belief, I must say.

|~|-Willis Damont - The very image of a loving, doting father. Sera certainly seems to be the one thing he loves most in this world.

|~|-Sera Damont - A cheerful, 'cute' little girl, a true delight to be around. It's unfortunate I haven't had the pleasure of speaking with her or her father in quite some time.

|~|-Aria - Haven't had the pleasure of meeting.

|~|-Lee Katan - Ah yes, Lee...I haven't met her face-to-face, but I do know she was part of the three-way marriage Faolan had on his hands last we talked.

|~|-Lauss - From what Aoi tells me, he is a curious little fellow, eager to learn and intelligent as well. Hoever, he seems to lack a fully-developed common sense sometimes.

|~|-Trystan Bishop Chevalier - Oh, here's an interesting man, alright. Tried to blow my head off, actually, pretty much succeeded. We somehow ended up talking for quite some time after that. He's always seemed to hold a high disdain towards me, but I understand he has a lot to deal with, from what Aoi told me. I wish him only the best.

|~|-Crux - This little guy's a bit of a mystery, he's highly robotic in both body and spirit, but he seems to hold some sort of core personality. Perhaps it'll come out when he hits Alter. I look forward to this.

|~|-Faolan Grady - Real fun guy, he seems to simply exude charisma. He's generally high energy, I can't help but find that admirable, he's certainly won my trust. Absolutely in love with his wife, too, he treats her well.

|~|-Ziazan - Here's a curious case, first Essentic I've seen without a specific gender, at least in mind. It's very honest in its words, almost to the point of being blunt, but I can't say I don't admire honesty. Pleasant company, certainly.

|~|-Ellandra Sanders - Lovely woman, and although initially shy, it seems Fao's brought her out of her shell, at least a little. I'm glad she and Fao make each other so happy.

|~|-Rhian - She seems to have the mentality of an innocent, and the good will of a saint, such a sweet little girl. Now that she's advanced another stage her innocence seems to cause Faolan all kinds of trouble.

|~|-Kaosu - I have...little knowledge of him, but, through Aoi, I know there's reason to believe he is tied to Trystan's recent depression, and unfortunately his disappearance.

|~|-Dreamer Josephine Eversong - Hm, I had a brief encounter with her at the Ball, but we didn't talk much. She had the air of someone high in the bank account.

|~|-Elias Carmine - A rather brief meeting, I had with him, but a memorable one. That was the night Aoi emerged into a Proto, after all. The man seems very introspective, hard to analyze, but he seemed friendly enough.

|~|-Eli Galvao - Haven't had the pleasure of meeting.
