Edel was about to set out on an adventure that was sure to be thrilling and, more then a little dangerous. A hoppy of her's was to track down and discovery anything worth wild and completely new and thrilling. Only recently had she discovered some interesting ruins in the middle of the forest. Of course, she knew very well she'd need someone else there, if not just for her own company, for someone else to believe it was real.
At first, Edel believed she had wandered into the Desert again and was suffering from some crazy mirage. But she was convinced now, this was a once in a lifetime chance at discovery!
Who would be willing to tag along?

Boring... Boring.... Boring... That was how things were being since the mare's auburn eyes. She had no one to go out with, and Claude had been busy learning to be a knight or something... It was really one of the first times she realized how few friends she had... She was always with Claude. He was hers after all. They did everything together, and she really meant everything. The simple id of one of them finding a mate never entered her mind. When that day would come they wouldn't be together for everything anymore...
She walked along the path in the forest. She had no real direction in mind. Maybe to see if she should befriend someone. It would be nice to have some friends for sure. Specially if they had something interesting to do.

Edel flicked through images of the few friends she had in her mind. Pyre wouldn't want anything to do with a ruin, covered in easy-caught-on-fire dead grass. Akii was no where to be found...and well that was everyone! Wow, she had absolutely no friends, save the two previously mentioned. What kind of a failure at life was she becoming? Something had to change!
Just as she was confessing to herself, she noticed someone coming up he path. Yesh, Edel had near-perfect eye sight, so why the blindfold you ask? That question isn't easily answered until you really, truly, get to know Edel. Anyway, she waited for the mare to get a little closer, before signaling her down.
"Hello~!" Edel wasn't usual so out-right with other, but she was itching for her adventure to begin!

The interruption of her boring day had been found. And a lovely one at that.. Istas eyes looked the mare up and down. She felt like Amitola right now... "Well hell there my lovely~ What can I do for you?" She smiled, Twitching her ears, and giving her tail a flick. The coloring on the mare before her was lovely... Istas found herself a bit envious of her. And her wings were rather unique as well! Her day was changing.
Though, could she see her? She had a blindfold on... Not that there was anything wrong with someone who was blind.

Edel watched as the mare made no hesitation what so ever to approach her. Which was odd, usually other tended to avoid her, if the barbed tail didn't do it, then the blind fold did. Many thought they could slip away unnoticed, but they had no such luck. Edel could see, almost perfectly fine.
"I was wondering, if you might be willing to help me check out these very interesting ruins I discovered." Edel completely opened up to the female, she didn't often, but she'd do anything for a good discovery. "I don't think I could handle it on my own." She almost laughed a bit, but managed to keep it behind her smile.

Istas blinked at her. "Ruins?" Well it could very well be a trap. Well not really. Its not like she had any enemies... And it was a pretty mare asking her... Could it be!? Ugh shut up. you sound like Amitola! Istas shook her head to get the ideas out of her head. "Are you sure that would be such a wise idea...?" She was worried that if the female was indeed blind this could be a very disastrous plan... "I mean... Uh..." She fumbled over the words. "If you're unable to see...?" She wasn't the most graceful with her words by any means...
Her long tail gave a flick, and her eyes took in the pattern on her body. It made her think of the heard she lived with. This mare would fit right in.

Edel thought about what she'd said, it certainly could have been a trap, but Edel merely wished to have a good time. Though, that didn't mean the ruins didn't have trap in it. They'd have to be careful. "You have left brown eyes, and a very pale fur color, with barely darker spots." Edel smiled, she could see. She could see almost, perfectly fine. They were just very sensitive to light.
Edel's barbed tail twitched behind her, leaving a little scratch in the ground.

Istas laughed at her a bit. "Oh, Well I would say you were right, but your .. verbs are wrong. I have auburn eyes, with a white pelt~ but the pots is right." She laughed a abit more and shook her head. "Well then seeing as you can, I guess it would be find to go to this place... Though if it's okay to ask... Why do you where fabric over your eyes?"
She gave a twitch to her ears and then became a bit more informal with hte female across from her.

Okay, so Edel couldn't see perfectly well, but at least she could see. She could definitely tell if she were about to smack into a wall, or fall off a cliff. "If you don't mind the short version, it involves a fire." All true, but not the ultimate reason for her blindfold. She hoped it wouldn't raise anymore questions from the mare.
She didn't mind it really, everyone asked, and everyone got a different answer depending on her mood. Thankfully, she was in a good one at the moment. "My name is Edel, by the way." She smiled kindly, and waited for the mare to give her own name.

Istas tilted her head at her. Fire huh? She wondered how exactly fire could have harmed her or dome damage to her eyes. But she figured it wasn't her place. They had just met after all...
She tossed her mane a bit, and smiled. "Edel~ I'm Istas. It's nice to meet you.' She flicked her ears a bit, and then turned slightly. "I guess we should get going then huh?"

Edel smiled when the mare didn't question further. It was nice to know that there were still a few polite others out there. Edel had begun to wonder if she was one of a small breed. Istas was definitely someone she could get along with.
"It's right this way!" Edel twitched her wings as she spun around and lead the mare off the usual path. It might have looked like she had no idea where she was going, but by now she was perfectly familiar withe the forest and all it's surprises. She stepped over everything in her path, and was careful to avoid certain plants and hidden traps. The trees became more spacious and she picked up her speed.
"It's coming up real soon." Just as she spoke she walked into an opening facing a huge stone wall, with a single decorated door waiting their entrance.

Istas smiled and she turned to walk after her. She made a point of keeping an eye on her walking, to see just how wel lshe could see. But the mare seemed to move fine, causing her worry to finally stop. She ducked her way around, and took some notes about the area. She had never been around there before.
She followed after her, and tilted her head hearing it was coming up soon, and then before she knew it, she was looking at it. For some reason she felt that should have known this was here... Specially since she and Claude had so many adventures. "I had no idea this place even existed."

Edel smiled over at her companion. Edel had been surprised when she'd found the ruins too. She couldn't believe something so amazing could be so close by, and no one had found anything like it before. She'd been studying the outside walls and steps for days now, waiting for her courage to boost up enough to push herself inside. In the end, she'd decided it'd be much better for herself to take someone along. If there was any trouble, she'd like someone there to live through it with.
"It's safe on the outside, but I haven't actually been inside. I didn't see any danger." Edel nodded, relaying her little information to Istas. She wished she had more to say, but nerves had gotten the better of her.

Istas was of the care free nature. as much as she would like to not die... She shrugged off the comments and headed toward the entrance. "Gotta take the bull by the horns!" She snuffed and nosed at the door a little, before she pushed her way inside. She had been safe until she tripped over some rubble that had come from the ceiling and she stumbled.
With a little bit of a cough, she turned to looked over for Edel. "Well then!... I survived the trip." She laughed at her own joke. Her voice echoing into the darkness.

Before Edel could mutter a warning Istas had pushed her way inside and almost tumbled though the ground. Bad jokes aside, nothing bad had happened. No shooting arrows or trick floors. She couldn't hide her little disappointment. She had expected a bit of a challenge, but she couldn't really complain. They were in now. Nothing left to do but discover it's secrets.
Edel smiled and chuckled a bit, "You're lucky there wasn't a trap floor or something! Things like that was known to happen in places like this." She nudged her was in after the mare and looked around. It was fairly dark, but before long her eyes would adjust and she'd be able to see just fine.
