I think the next thing I'm going to do is lower the Cavalier. I've found a set that I like, Megan, that run for 110 ish dollars before shipping. But, I was wondering, would ebay be a good option to find cheaper? Would I be able to gather some friends who know about this stuff and do it myself? Or would you reccomend taking it to a shop?
I can't be without a car for too long, maybe two days?

you might, just make sure you get those names on ebay...not off names. with the proper tools, sockets, ratchet, and a spring compressor, you can easily do it...just that the big bottom shock bolts that go to the hub are on there real tight...so a breaker bar(with cheater) is a good thing or a impact gun.

DO NOT swap out springs without a compressor, unless you like having broken body parts.
