Now that is a deep subject for a lot of people. Just think about those little faces in those cages who never asked to be born. They are poked and filled with germs and bacteria just to see if "we as the world" can come up with a new product. Do they deserve the fate that they have been handed. If so why and if not why.
Let's just talk about how we feel about the whole thing ...shall we.

i dont think they should be tested. it may be better beacause we wont get hurt first. but the animal will be in pain and wont live its whole life.
and i STRONGLY hate Animal fur farms

of course they dont deserve this! i am an activist for a few things and this is one of them. i feel like people/aimals/things without a voice should be spoke up for by others who can speak up and do something about it. just like child abuse, they can't stop it, they didn't ask for it, but we can do something for them and we should. do you know anybody who thinks child abuse is right? no because they are children well how are animals any different? i undertand killing them to eat if its just a quick execution like most places do it, but tourtureing them for years so we can look pretty or change our appearence for a day or whatever. its rediculous!

I agree that animal testing should be limited to the medical end of things I would prefer if the creature is something like a rabbit or a lab rat that due to rapid reproductive rates can be easily replaced. A rabbit's blood is remarkably similar to human and much of our knowledge of DNA comes from animal testing. While it is true enough that no animal should suffer so that we can be assured the latest lipstick or hair dye formula does not provide any allergic reaction I personally feel that the anti-animal testing groups may have handicapped medical advancments. The wittle bunny is not equal to human lives that may be saved.

Only on 3 conditions: 1-If the scientists get out of their padded chairs and treck out into the mosquito infested wilds to catch the original test subjects...with their bare hands.
2-If the animal was insecure about it's appearance.
3-If the scientists intended to eat the animal when it died of natural causes after a full, happy life and not from years of test-drug abuse.
Other then that no, I don't think so.

Yes but that doesn't mean that they should be tortured for "scientific" reasons

well i'm sorta for both, like i am in a lot of things, but anyways....Animal testing is bad, since it does hurt the animals. And technically, just because we don't understand what they say, if they say things, doesn't mean we should use them for our own personal needs, like using them for makeup. To be honest, we don't even need makeup. We don't even need all the clothes that we have in the world today. It's all wants and desires that people have which lead to so much of this stuff.
now on the other hand, animal testing has helped us a lot. Like for military purposes. A lot things have been tested on animals and it has been able to help the military and us. Such as medical testing too. Even though its bad, it helps us. I can guarantee, almost all types of medicine have been tested on animals, because before, it had to be tested on animals for it actually to be like handed out and stuff. But nowadays they might change it since the computers are so advanced that they might be able to see all the variations that might happen to humans if they take the medication. And plus, a lot of food you eat has been tested on animals at one point in time.
(i know some tidbit facts since i had a semi-presentation/debating thing about animal testing.)
