The call had been put in and now standing in the medical ward a smug smile was displayed on his face. The babies that they had delivered just yesterday were responding well to the treatment. And despite there...unique physical appearances they were like normal babies. They just needed some time is all to gain the strength they would need.
Waiting with him was the same female technician who had told Adhara she would help her with her next appointment.
"S..sir...do you need to be here?" She asked cautiously watching Vampy who seemed all to pleased with himself. She was still shaken up after the incident with Sterling...wow she was dead now...and Vampy seemed happy about it.
"Yes...it is my business to make sure the spawns are doing well, as well their children.. this will be the first natural pregnancy of its kind..I intend to be here for it." He responded his tone was icy.
Tucking her hair behind an ear she nodded loking a tad fearful as she readied the equipement.

She was so finished with all of this. Adhara rubbed her eyes as she walked through the halls awkwardly, her father helping her stay upright and probably conscious. The whole pregnancy thing had been difficult. That in itself was a given, and despite the warnings, the poor girl really hadn't expected the full thing of it. She was always tired now, almost to the point that eating was a hassle that she didn't want to bother herself with. She slept a lot, she was always hungry, and she couldn't even do the simple things anymore, like putting her hair up or changing her clothes easily.
She'd promised that she would practice flying, but that was out of the question. She tried to knit, but getting half a scarf done was a hassle. Everything was just so very... painful now. Even the thought of the baby shower that her DNA Mother was going to throw her didn't sound that fun, even if she knew that she would enjoy something like that. And to top it all off, she was still three weeks from due. Three weeks. How much worse was it going to get in that amount of time!?
Adhara winced slightly as the little being inside her kicked outward, making her chuckle weakly. Reena attempted to lift herself up, but decided against it at the last minute, going back to resting against Adhi's side for the time being. The preteen, herself, lifted her arm to gently pet her stomach, trying to quell the life within it, at least for the time being. Every time the little thing so much as moved she felt like she was going to burst apart at the seams.
After what seemed like forever, the two arrived at their destination, Adhara smiling up at the two who were there, vision blurry given she no longer wore her glasses all that much. She probably looked about as terrible as she felt, stringy hair, ill-fitting clothing, probably a decent amount thinner than she should be, having eaten as much as she possibly could stand, which still wasn't enough for the both of them. She nodded to the two in turn, her father helping her to the hospital bed.
"Nice to see you both in... relatively good health, eh? she said, chuckling softly and pulling herself atop the bed, that motion in itself paining her slightly. She ruffled her feathers a bit, unknowingly attracting attention to a small cut across her right wing from that first melee class. Apparently, despite her healing magic, the infant that was struggling for survival inside her leeched the ability for things on the rest of her body to heal properly.

The woman's looked at Adhara the shock running across her face was too obvious, she brought a hand up to her mouth before acting as if she was going to push her glases up on her face. The girl looked too thin...that didn't bode well even if she tried to hide her shock she glanced at Vampy who only looked at Adhara as if she were som curious experiement.
"Ah...thank you." She replied after her father had helped her onto the bed. She licked her lips trying to think of something to say...the silver man haired cuther off.
"Your thin." Came the man's blunt comment, he walked up to Adhara his eye's studying her a moment before resting on her belly. "The baby has taken a lot out of you...but you are nearing the end. Not much longer now." He continued before his gaze seemed to settle on the cut on her wing.
"Hmm..." was his only comment before he gestured for the technician to come forward.
Stepping lightly she came as bade, looking at the cut wondering why it seemed to draw the man's attention.
"When did you recieve this?" he asked getting straight to the point. If the baby was taking that much energy from her, then it could of been a combination of her age, her being just too young to bare young or that the mixing of the bloods proved it was too hard to keep up with the combined energies of the baby.

Adhara chuckled harshly at the comment of her weight, the noise sardonic, humorless and nearing sarcastic. "Good of you to notice," she replied simply, feeling in no mood -right at this moment- to humor anyone around her. She wasn't going to do her usual thing and brighten the room with her happiness and cheeriness, she was just going to do her best to at least remain civil and not give into the craving to bite someone's hand off.
When those cold amber eyes came to rest on her stomach, one of her hands followed suit, resting gently on a belly that probably weighed little more than she felt she did at this point. Yet she was so, so, so close to the end of her last term. She could make it through the last two or three weeks, and even if she couldn't do that, the baby was already old enough, already big enough to survive if it had to be taken out for any reason.
"I've been doing my best to keep eating, but I've been... really tired almost constantly. My dad brings me food usually, and sometimes my little brothers do, too. That, or they're keeping me company," she said, following Vampy's movement like the distrustful mother-to-be she'd become in recent weeks. She looked over at the wound a blinked a couple times, remembering the lesson and chuckling wryly. Sure, her teacher had nicked her wing, but she'd done a number on him that was far worse. If only she'd had another melee class to take the rest of her anger out on... or the energy to participate at all.
"I got that... about a month or so ago, give or take? At my first melee lesson," she said with a slow nod, before giving her tech a soft smile, as though trying to reassure her that she was fine. Well, she was alive at the very least, as was the life brewing inside her. She fiddled with one of her tentacles, petting at it gently as she waited for whatever was going to be going during this check-up while Noah lurked back a few feet, hoping that they would be able to keep her here. It wasn't out of spite or anything similar; he just didn't have the resources to take care of her.

Vampy nodded his head slowly before he indicated to the woman beside him that he wanted her to tend to the wound. It didn't take her long, she had been around Vampy enough to know the signals and she moved forward compress in hand to start dapping at it.
"Sorry if this stings a little." She apologized as she went about putting a strange concotion on the wound. Dapping the liquid on and then pressing a gauze pad to it lightly. It was...some strange concoction one could possible think it was hydoproxide, but it was actually helping the wound heal faster...
Vampy looked over the girl a moment before he motioned to the ultrasound equipment behind him.
"We have the equipment ready to do the ultrasound, once your wound is cleaned we will go ahead and take a look at the baby." He instructed the woman moved quickly out of the way with a shy smile as she put the stuff she had held in her hands back onto a table.
She soon returned with a bottle full of a jelly like substance.
"Your going to have to .." she stopped, the girl couldn't really lay on her back due to her wings.
"Uh...lean back as far as you can..." she corrected herself. "No..normally we ask them to lay on their backs..its so we can see the baby clearer." She exlpained.

Adhara seemed content to simply sit and be a bit fussed about by Bree and Vampy; it wasn't as though she could really do much else, after all. The preteen gave a wide yawn when the female got the strange liquid mixture, covering her mouth politely. Her wings tensed at the feel of the substance, the girl herself hissing softly. After getting used to the strange stinging feeling, though, it was rather soothing and cool on the cut on her wing.
"It's alright," she said sweetly in response to Bree's apology. She glanced up toward Vampy when he spoke again, nodding slowly as she listened to the man speak. She knew what ultrasounds were, at least a bit. She'd seen them on television and in a few movies that her father owned, but she never really understood them. After all, all they seemed to show to her was a mass of green speckles.
Adhara nodded in understanding at her instructions, before chuckling softly. "I can lay down, don't worry," she said sweetly. It was true, after all. She'd found a way around her wings; at least, a bit. She stretched them out and turned, grabbing the pillow and placing it between her back and the metal parts of her wings, leaning back slowly and then laying down, smiling softly and pulling her wings in as much as she could. "Alright. I'm ready."

Vampy watched her much like a wolf may to a lamb, though he didn't appear hostile quite the opposite he was rather tentative about the girl as well the first child to be born naturally from the DNA spawned from the facility. He recalled who the father was, thinking that given the DNA structures the baby was going to be a handful. Then again who knew...maybe some part o the DNA would win out...and there would be only one part. It was all very exciting to him.
The tech reached out to lift the girls shirt and expose the round taught stomach that was the baby belly. She hoped the girl would make it through the pregnancy alright, what she had gathered from Vampy they had no idea how the pregnancy would result.
She squirted the jelly onto her skin and then rubbed it on before looking to Vampy for confirmation and then went to grab the listening device and pressed it against her skin.
"It will be a bit cold, but if you look at the screen you can see what is happening." She murmured. The screen flickered into life and as she moved the contraption around it only looked like a ...mess of blurry pixeled images. She stopped here and there before it landed on something that vaguely looked like a unborn baby all curled up nice and snug in the womb.
"ah...there it is..." she murmured.

Adhi would admit that the touches to her stomach, however tentative, were a bit painful given the awkward stretching of the skin protecting the baby that her body wasn't quite ready to be having. She nodded at the instructions and gasped in surprise at the coolness of the gel, though it did warm rather quickly. Reena, despite her lack of energy, prodded protectively at the listening device that was pressed against her baby.
Adhara, laughing gently, pushed the protective tentacle away, and her breath escaped as her amber eyes caught sight of the mess of pixels that was the life curled up inside of her. She let out a breathless laugh and smiled just slightly, glancing from the ultrasound to her own stomach before chuckling again.
"Oh... my... God..." she murmured softly, smile growing in size as she watched the image change as the device was moved, watched the baby move about in her stomach, feeling the movement as she watched them happening on the screen. However, there was one thing that caused her eyebrows to pull together nervously. She pointed toward the screen, trying to figure out the picture she was seeing. "It... has more than four limbs... I mean... it does, doesn't it?" she asked, nerves acting up once again.

Neither Vampy or Bree said anything for a moment. It was hard to tell really but it was definitely ... not like a regular baby should be.
"Uh..." started Bree but Vampy swiftly came in and was examining the small form curiously. His fingers came out and tapped the screen pointing at various parts.
"Looks like the baby has inherited the tentacles...not surprising as you both had those as well." He commented as he looked more closely at the screen to check out something else that seemed out of sorts. But he couldn't tell what exactly they were.

The silence only made Adhi squirm slightly, watching the form inside of her lay dormant, at least mostly. Sure, her eyes were drawn to the odd limbs that she couldn't quite place, but it was the flicker of her unborn's heartbeat that caught her attention time and time again, making her heart soar. Truly, she believed what was said now. How pregnancy, the art of actually having a child growing inside of a person, was a miracle, really and truly.
Adhara nodded in response to Vampy's speech, understanding that the child would have inherited the pesky limbs from its father and mother; it was a dominant trait, after all. Her eyes sharpened as she watched the screen, just as perplexed as the male was at the other limbs that the child possessed. Sighing softly, she discarded it for the time being, though she was sure that Vampy would likely be thinking of it further.
"What about the gender?" she asked hesitantly, as it was more of preference thing than it was important to know, and given what had been done so far, Vampy was truly only in this to know things that would affect her child or herself. As such, her eyes were mostly on Bree. "Can we tell if it's a boy or girl yet?

Bree nodded her head as she moved the device around on Adhara's belly to try and get a better look.
"Your big enough now we should be able to know gender. I just need a good picture of ...it.." The woman sounded a bit flustered as the baby moved and the tentacles moved as well. For all counts it looked and appeared male...but with all the limbs it was terribly hard to know for certain.
"Your having a girl," Came Vampy's voice, apparently he had seen something no one else did. Maybe his eyes were just that good. "Tell me, have you noticed that when the baby moves that it feels more lively? Like you have more than one inside of you?" He inquired curious if the tetnacles were active even at this stage.

Adhara watched the ultrasound change with an excited and nervous expression on her face, wings fluttering as best as they were able to beneath her weight, where they were starting to get a bit uncomfortable. Somehow, Reena and Niita had managed to get distracted with each other in a very perverted-looking 'wrestling match', which meant that it would be less difficult to get a picture, since the protective one wouldn't be pushing constantly at the device pressed up against Adhara's stomach.
The teen was a bit surprised to hear the comment from Vampy, as though she'd forgotten that he was in the room, she'd been so intent on the screen. She laughed in surprised, gently pressing a couple of her fingers to her stomach where they wouldn't be in the way. At the next question from Vampy, she looked up, a bit confused, looking down at her stomach, wincing a bit as the child squirmed once more. "Well... kinda, yeah. But that would make sense, since she's got diligence in her, right? Especially since she has so many different little... limbs..."

Vampy only nodded his head and lingered looking at the screen. It was hard to tell with this man, if he was excited because it was a new creation of life or...if it was all just one giant experiment with him.
"Being part diligence, lust and liberality...the girl will be a handful." He commented though he didn't sound warm and inviting it was more...a statement. "Come to me if you need any help with her." He continued as he turned and then stared at Adhara, though it wasn't really at HER it was her stomach.
Bree only shivered and then figuring the ultrasound was ..concluded she moved it over a couple more times to see if they could note anything else about the unborn child and then discovering nothing went to put the device away as well clean off her belly.
"Yes...do come in I would greatly like to meet the little one." The tech spoke with a gentle smile.

Adhara sighed wearily, already worried about taking care of her little girl without a father figure, or so much as another parent. It was true that she had her own father, but to put all of the burden on him was completely irresponsible, especially since he already had two children aside from her. She pressed the palm of one of her hands against her stomach softly as soon as the gel had been wiped off, a smile coming to her face despite herself and despite the pain when she felt the little girl kick inside of her stomach. Handful or not, she was going to do whatever she could to give her daughter a good life...
She nodded in response to Vampy's statement about contacting them if she needed any help with the girl, which she was almost sure was going to happen someday or another. "Chances are I'll have to take you up on that offer," she replied sweetly with a soft chuckle, although it was more nervous than it was amused. Already she was trying to figure out how she was actually going to do this, as though it was finally setting in that she was going to be having a baby, a thought that honestly scared her now. Sighing a bit shakily, she smiled up at Bree.
"I wouldn't mind bringing her here to meet you, either," she said, chuckling once again, though this time it was in amusement. "After all, Polondraeli already made me promise that I would bring her as soon as I had a chance, so I'm sure that bringing her to meet you wouldn't at all be a problem," she said, nodding as she pushed herself back up into a sitting position. She wasn't at all opposed to taking the child to see Bree; after all, the woman was probably one of the nicest people she'd met here. At least, of the employees.

THe silver haired man only nodded his head as if it was commen sense for her to come to him in her time of need. Of course he went off to record some of the ultrasound imaging saying nothing more as it seemed this appointment for him was over. The baby was healthy and Adhara seemed to be diong fine herself.
Bree smiled as she let her fingers touch Adhara's stomach breifly, it felt weird...seeing the kids they created grow up and have kids of their own..what had it been..only a year since Adhara was brought into the world and now here she was going to have a baby of her own. Of course she was a bit young...but what can you do.
"If you need anything at all just let me know, " Bree offered kindly as she went to put the equipment away.
"Did you have any more questions?" Vampy spoke as it seemed as if he was impatient with the length of this appointment regardless how much vaulable information they had aquired.
