A few days ago, my little cousin came over. He was playing with my ds, and he fell down the stairs and dropped it. Now both screens of my Gold Zelda DS Lite are cracked and you cant see anything. crying

Now both screens of my Gold Zelda DS Lite are cracked and you cant see anything. crying Ouch! Buy a new one if you can(or used) since it costs as much as a used DS to get it fixed. Good luck! I only know because mine broke so I bought a new DS light since it will be covered under warranty if something goes wrong. I've had horrable luck with used ones.

Ouch man!!!! Really ouch... especially because it was a limited edition golden color Zelda DS, and those are more espensive than the standard one...
Depends on how much the repairs cost if you want to just fix it or buy a new one...

Eh, I now there is already a topic on this, but I like the DS lite better. It has the GBA slot.
If you play pokemon and have the GBA games I recommend you get that. Plus prices will probably go lower soon, considering the new model came out. :B

I'll be the first to say that I hope your cousin is alright after falling down the stairs.
Getting a DSi means you won't be able to migrate from your GBA games and you won't be able to catch the pokemon that you unlock by inserting in the GBA games. Personally I'd go with the DS lite.

I'm still thinking of which to get. The only GBA games i have are leafgreen, ruby, and emerald. But my mom put them away somewhere and we dont know where they are.
I'd get my DS Lite fixed if I could though.
