Once you post your profiles here, a crew member will add to or take away from your profile giving you an exact range of your powers and strengths. Once this is done, the crew member will mark the profile with approved, or delete it if it is not approved. As long as you follow the rules, however, your character application should be approved. Just be sure to post your profile in the right place. CHARACTER IDENTITYUsername: Public Name: Real Name: (Annotate if the hero's ID is public knowledge.) Gender: Age: Weight: Height: CHARACTER POWERSStrengths: (list powers/abilities here) Weaknesses (make them somewhat attainable) Origin Archetype: (choose one) Alien: Born on another planet, arrived at Earth. Aliens have difficulty adapting to human culture, and may have problems blending in with the populace. Metahuman: Altered by an outside force, a former human gains powers. Metahuman powers tend to be more unstable than most other power sources. Technology: Either though invention or a benefactor, the hero uses high-tech devices to fight. Technology heroes/villains tend to be vulnerable because they rely heavily on those devices. Science: Through either self-experimentation or experimentation by others, powers are acquired. Science powers are often unpredictable, and can change over time, for better or worse. Natural: The character has no powers of any sort. The character may use some low-to-medium-tech devices to fight, but mostly relies on intense physical training. Natural heroes/villains are only human, and therefore are vulnerable to injury/disease. Mutant: Mutants have altered DNA from birth, often times manifesting powers as early as their preteens. Mutants are often outcasts from society from a very young age, causing some mental instability or low-self image/grudges against society. Magic: If your character has the skills, they can draw from the pool of magika to manipulate the world around them. Magic is powerful, but it requires a much higher level of skill and control than the other archetypes. Power Modifiers: Use the following four fields to identify how your powers and/or devices are used in each situation: Attack: Defense: Transport: Other: Device List: (Technology, Natural only) A comprehensive list of devices used to fight. Non technology/natural characters can list the FEW devices they would have in the above fields instead. CHARACTER INTERACTIONHero or Villain: Group Affiliation: League of Tactical Heroes Appearance: Attach a comprehensive physical description here, or a link to the image. Personality: Include your character's quirks, grudges, soft spots, sensitivities, etc. History: A comprehensive history describing the manifestation of your character's powers, and how he/she reacted to them, as well as how others reacted, and how they came to be where they are now. The part you took in the great war: Write your character into the storyline by providing a back-history. Make sure your information matches the guild storyline.

CHARACTER IDENTITYUsername: Gear-Richie Public Name: The Strategist Real Name: Timothy Foley Gender: Male Age: 27 CHARACTER POWERSStrengths: Cyberpathy/Technopathy, Genius-level intellect, Invention, Strategic expertise, Leadership, Swift planning, Minor-level martial ability. Weaknesses: Reliance upon technology, Grudge holding, Anger management issues, Flawed sense of justice. Origin Archetype: Technology Power Modifiers: Attack: Charged bolts from gloves. Defense: Force field projection. Transport: Flight via rocket boots, rollerblade-style boots so he can move with the mobility of rollerblading during skirmishes, and long-range teleportation. Other: Commands the League of Tactical Heroes via special comm unit device. Device List: Strategist's suit: while still flexible, Strategist's suit is nearly indestructible, and amplifies his strength and agility ten-to-one. It's electrically insulated and conceals a scale-like internal armor that can block bullets and laser projectile weapons. Utility Belt: Created using cutting-edge antimatter technology, Strategist's belt utilizes an extra-dimensional storage system, which allows him to store ridiculously large objects in the belt and pull them out at any time, without them actually having to be in the belt itself. A verbal order from Strategist can lock down the belt, cause it to release a powerful electrical charge, or self-destruct. Cloaking Engine: Opening the panel on the front of the belt and rotating the wheel inside, the holographic projection of the suit is activated, the suit displaying an image of what is behind Strategist, rendering him virtually invisible. LoTH Comm Unit: A multi-purpose cell phone that allows Strategist to communicate with the members of his group. See "Devices" thread in main forum for details. Jet-Blades: Uses the sort of Military Propulsion Engineering used in Harrier Jets to update an otherwise normal set of Roller-blades, making them flight-capable for patrol. They have 3 modes: "Shoe-Mode", so that he can walk while investigating a crime scene, etc; "Roller-Blade-Mode", so that he can move with the mobility of Roller-Blading while in a skirmish; and "Jet-Blade-Mode", for when he needs/wants to fly. Police Broadband Scanner: A radio receiver, it is designed to pick up radiowaves on the Police Communication Broadband in all areas of the country at once. It has an alarm programmed to go off when it detected the phrase "Meta-Human" or "Conqueror" in intercepted transmissions to warn the LoTH when a Police Department somewhere is up against one of Positron's cronies. Also it is connected to all LoTH Comm units, so any member can check for mission updates at any time. Strategist's Visor - Cyber-eye goggles connected to the LoTH mainframe; through his visor, Strategist's Meta-Human brainwaves can interface with his backpack, and through Back-Pack other machines, allowing Strategist to use his Technopathy/Cyberpathy in a longer range. It is able to display information from Back-Pack at an alarming speed, which can only be decoded and speed-read by Strategist. Its opacity is automatically and instantaneously adjusts itself when there is a change in brightness to prevent Strategist from being blinded by light-based attacks. Back-Pack - a sophisticated high tech scouting and surveillance, utility unit, portable computer all in one active robot, capable of fitting and being carried on Tim's back. Back-Pack can be cyberpathically, voice, and remote controlled by Strategist, and is armed with an array of short-range sharp implements and missiles with several different payloads. It serves as Strategist's information hub and main communication device. Reinforced, the unit is waterproof, electrically insulated, cloaked, composed of a chrome polymerized titanium shell, and has a remotely activated detonation sequence which is also triggered when its power cell is damaged. The explosion does monstrous damage to anyone within the general vicinity of it. ZapCap: The ZapCap was one of Tim's first inventions. It appears at first to be a metal ball. But when thrown with enough force, the circuits inside are activated, and extend metallic tentacles that are magnetically manipulated to wrap around a target and bind them tightly. If a prisoner of this device attempts to cut through the bonds, the wire wound up inside will release a powerful electric shock through the cutting device as well as through the entire ZapCap, electrocuting both the person cutting the device, and the wearer. It can only be unlocked with a special magnetic key in Strategist's possession. Lightning Blade: A long sword, laser sharpened down to the molecule capable of cutting through metal, as well as firing a powerful electric charge. Qwik-Dri: a fast setting rock-hard substance that hardens in seconds. When it hardens, is stronger than concrete, trapping the target inside. Sonic Disk: A small disk that can be thrown or held, and releases a directable beam of supersonic sound waves designed to disable an opponent. Freeze Canon: Contrary to its name, it is a small hand-held gun that fires a beam of ice. It can be used to freeze opponents, or freeze the ground underneath them, causing them to slip. Sonic Deflector: tuned to the sonic properties of a gunshot, upon "hearing" this sound, it emits a powerful sound shockwave that is capable of deflecting small arms fire, preserving Strategist's armor for heavier ballistic attacks. CHARACTER INTERACTIONHero or Villain: Hero Group Affiliation: League of Tactical Heroes Leader Weight: 165 lbs. Height: 5' 11" Personality: Highly determined, very meticulous, and not a people person. Not so good in social situations, Strat tends to be more comfortable barking orders at all his heroes, and takes it very personally if a hero under his charge is hurt or killed. While several close to him have unsuccessfully tried to get him to relax, Strat often seems like he's close to the stress breaking point, sometimes lashing out at people for even the most minor of transgressions. His alter ego is known only by a few close heroes, usually discovered by accident. History: Having an exceptionally high proficiency in technology even at a young age, Tim grew to become more competent in greater areas of technological development, causing him to want to use these abilities for heroics. At first a glory seeker calling himself The Tactician, when he saw a close friend and mentor, a hero who called himself The Strategist, die in the heat of battle, Tim grew exceptionally serious, his attitude taking a 180 degree turn. No longer a jokester with an endless supply of one-liners, The Tactician took a darker shade of costume, changed his handle to The Strategist in an effort to throw away all that he'd once been and to honor his fallen friend, and took to the streets, taking on murderers and thieves ruthlessly, often times without thinking of the long-term results of his actions. Over the years he has mellowed somewhat, but still remains vigilant in his fight. The original Strategist was killed by a villain by the name of Positron, a powerful mastermind with the same powers and skillsets as Tim's. When he killed the original Strategist, he learned his identity, then easily deduced the Tactician's. However, he's kept this knowledge to himself, using it as leverage against Tim, and becoming the new Strategist's greatest enemy. The part you took in the great war: He served as a leader of one team of heroes during the great war. His team single-handedly managed to drive Positron's forces out of Oklahoma City. When the war ended, his team, which he'd inherited from his mentor, had become famous due to its incredible work in protecting the survivors, that it became the ultimate superpower team, acknowledged by the government for its efficiency. Strategist became one of the most well known heroes in the world.

UpdatedCHARACTER IDENTITY Username: Brian_The_Elementalist Public Name: Archive Real Name: Alex Thompson Gender: Male Age: 32 Weight: 180 pounds Height: 6’ 4”
CHARACTER POWERS Strengths: Telepathy, Telekinesis, Unlimited mental storage, photographic memory, mind blast Weaknesses: Despite Archive’s considerable mental prowess once you get by his mental barrier he is actually more vulnerable to psychic attacks then most people due to the fact that he has essentially millions of people in his mind. He has numerous barriers set up in his mind to keep the core personality from being overwhelmed but there barriers are weakened during times of extreme anger or stress or even mental exhaustion. If someone manages to break these barriers to oncoming flood of personalities could very well drive Archive to insanity or even worse a different personality could take control. Which of course would probably end up being that of a villain’s which would cause ever greater problems. Origin Archetype: Mutant Attack: Archive prefers not to fight but if he does he is a formidable opponent. Normally he’ll just blast his opponent mentally into submission but if that doesn’t work he is easily capable of taking on anyone in hand to hand combat at least skill wise. Strength and speed wise not so much. On top of that he has considerable telekinetic powers and if he concentrates all his power on one thing he can lift a mountain. Through not easily and he’s completely defenseless while doing this. Lately Archive has switched from a less active fighting style to that of a full blown telekinetic focused battler. Defense: He can put up telekinetic barriers useful for stopping most attacks Transport: Flight Other: With his telepathic abilities he routinely downloads other people’s minds so to speak. This of course has allowed him to become the most knowledgeable being on Earth. The strength of his powers depends on proximity so that a mind blast from fifty feet is mere child’s play compared to a mind blast at point blank. Luckily for others Archive is unwilling to completely destroy anyone mentally so he normally holds back. He has two types of mind blasts. The first one is the most efficient one but it is also a two sided sword. By linking mind’s with his target he can be more selective with what goes bye-bye but there is a large amount of psychic backlash about half of that put into the attack. Luckily for Archive he’s gotten skilled enough to absorb that backlash with out too much of a problem but repeated uses do start breaking through this. His other kind is a simple blast of telepathic energy. Not as precise or efficient but with out any black lash. Device List: Currently none. He has been thinking of creating a device to convert his telepathic energies into technopathic/cyperpathic abilites but he hasn’t quite decided if he wants to yet. CHARACTER INTERACTION Hero or Villain: Hero. Group Affiliation: Second-in-Command - League of Tactical Heroes Personality: If Archive didn’t have so much storage space in his mind it is likely he would be driven insane by the amount of people that now exist in him mentally. He can summon up other personalities at will if needed but he normally stays pretty unemotional and analytical. He doesn’t really socialize since he doesn’t need to if he can just find out when he wants. In fact due to his powers he rarely talks at all and mostly communicates mentally. History: Alex’s powers started developing at a young age. In fact due to his powers he was out of grade school before he was even twelve. At first he had problems keeping himself from accidentally downloading minds which was causing problems but what was worse was that he was less able to keep them from showing up. This led to him being an angry child and him abusing his powers. In fact he sent several people to the hospital be mentally crushing them through this was never linked to him. Once he got his powers on control he was a lot calmer but also almost completely silent. Eventually he used his powers for good by becoming a super hero. The part you took in the great war: Archive spent most of his time in the war helping others defeat their opponents by mentally giving them advice. Only in a few occasions did he actually fight and he always won with out much of a problem. After a while he was promoted to the leadership council of the League of Tactical Heroes. Profile Approved

His tights have no pockets and are also the color black. His boots have many laces and are the color black. He wears a sort of mask that covers his entire head. Personality: Unknown's heritage is of the Spanish. He has somewhat of a hot-tempered mood when certain "strings" are strummed. Unknown jumps to conclusions very fast if not given the right information. Unknown has a connection to father-son relationship since he lost his father. When he is not in his Hero suit he likes to visit familiar locations to reminisce. Unknown usually feels to helping others out unless needed. He likes to do things alone to prove to many people that he is a hero and doesn't need anyones help. History When Jimmy was little his father was always away on government business. Always protecting someone. Jimmy had friends and did as well as some kids should in school but he always felt alone. One day his father was assigned to protecting scientist who's job it was to fix global warming. Since the location was nearby and Jimmy's father's job was nothing but success he took Jimmy along. In the facility there were many scientist and tubes filled with somewhat greenish-yellow gas cloud. Jimmy overheard scientist that might have found a way to reverse the gases in the air's polarity and change it to become a fodder for the Earth's soil. Jimmy was lead to a certain area to where he could play. Meanwhile outside the facility was several terrorist that heard about America's plans and wanted to stop it. They had shot rocket launchers at the facility. They had hit directly at the facility's tube and released it throughout the compound. There were explosions. Jimmy's father picked him up and tried to leave but exits were blocked thanks to the terrorists. Everyone inhaled the cloud that was covering the normal air. Some scientist died instantly but others were lucky enough to survive. Jimmy and his father also inhaled the cloud. When help finally arrived many of the scientist were dead. The only survivors were 5 scientist, Jimmy, and his father. Jimmy's 18th birthday came. He finally got to see his father. But news was brought instead of his father. Jimmy's father had died due to lung caner. Jimmy ran away in a ferocious rampage. All around him was cars crushing under heavy gravity and other items flying away. When Jimmy finally calmed down he wanted to be alone and thought of a place. He teleported there. The part you took in the great war: Unknown was alone when the war started. It was one year after his father died. Many villains came to his city and began rioting. Jimmy and few others managed to defeat and capture them. Few know about Unknown and his efforts.

CHARACTER IDENTITYUsername: Gear-Richie Public Name: Katran Real Name: Catherine Rhodes Gender: Female Age: 35 Weight: Refuses to give Height: 5' 8" CHARACTER POWERSStrengths: Lygokinesis and Healing Weaknesses: Requires concentration for lygokinesis. Origin Archetype: Magic Power Modifiers: Attack: Lygokinetic constructs; can create blue or black energy objects limited only by her imagination. Blue is a more fluid energy, like energy bolts, black is stronger, like bows/arrows, swords, etc. Defense: Force fields. Transport: Flight Other: Can heal herself and others though manipulation of magical fields. CHARACTER INTERACTIONHero or Villain: Hero Group Affiliation: League of Tactical Heroes Leadership Council Personality: She is very motherly towards the members of the Leadership council, and serves as the bearer of good news for the entire LoTH. Most members look up to her as a source of comfort, where Strategist tends to try and make them push through whatever psychological scars they have. She works hard to keep Strategist grounded, especially when he goes into a crazed, bloodthirsty vengeance mode. History: She discovered her powers early on, and kept them relatively secret. She was a friend of the original Strategist, who helped her hone her powers to their highest extent, even teaching her how to harness them for healing. She acted as a mother figure to the then-young Tactician, then stepped back for an advisory role when he stepped up to Strategist's place. She gently tries to guide him back to his original values when his anger flares up. The part you took in the great war: Katran was one of two heroes that joined Strategist's leadership council. Her unit was well known for being the only one during the war to suffer no deaths or permanent injuries.

CHARACTER IDENTITY Username: Mint Mia Public Name: Nova Real Name: Sara Neilson Gender: Female Age: 26 Weight: 138 lbs Height: 5’ 9” CHARACTER POWERS Strengths: Flight, energy blasts through hands and narrow beams through eyes, enhanced strength and toughness, entropy vision Weaknesses: Nova cannot see like normal humans, and her entropy vision has certain disadvantages to normal sight. She cannot see anything much smaller than a marble unless it is moving extremely fast or is made of a highly volatile substance. Entropy vision can’t detect color, and large amounts of entropy like heat can obscure her vision. Extreme temperatures of both kinds will tamper with her powers; cold will sharply decrease her energy output and heat will increase it but cause her to run out of energy much faster. Her pool of energy is limited, depending on the calorie count of the food she consumes. Origin Archetype: Metahuman Power Modifiers: Attack: Enhanced strength reaches a maximum lift capacity of 600 pounds, enough to seriously injure a normal adult in hand-to-hand combat. Can fire energy blasts through her hands, or if her arms are hampered, fires weaker energy beams through her eyes. Each blast consumes energy. She also possesses a last-ditch effort emergency attack, also known as Supernova, whereby she creates a miniature nuclear explosion centered on her body. This consumes large amounts of energy and typically will leave her unconscious for several minutes. Defense: Nova’s “invulnerability” works by generating a skintight forcefield. Each time it deflects an attack, it consumes energy proportional to the strength of the attack. She must consciously switch her invulnerability on and off, and while it’s on her other powers are weakened. Transport: Flight. Other powers are weakened while flying, to a degree dependent on her flight speed. Maximum flight speed is about 50 miles per hour. Other: Nova’s metabolism is like a rudimentary nuclear fusion reactor. This causes her body temperature to be quite a bit higher than normal humans, at about roughly 55 degrees Celsius when not actively using her powers. The reactions in her body constantly produce radiation, which is actually slowly destroying her from the inside. As of today, she has about five or six years left to live. Her eyes constantly glow, more or less brightly depending on how active her powers are at the time. As a civilian, she wears opaque sunglasses to cover this fact. Device List: Nova’s costume is not ordinary fabric. The material is lightweight, yet is immune to damage from her energy powers, which means that it remains intact when she goes Supernova. It also blocks the low-level radiation that she gives off at all times, protecting those around her from getting cancer by spending too much time near her. CHARACTER INTERACTION Hero or Villain: Hero Group Affiliation: League of Tactical Heroes Personality: Sara went through a feminist phase during high school and the first year or so of college, which she has since grown out of. However, she still prefers to behave professionally, taking things seriously whenever she can help it. Her sense of humor is sarcastic and deadpan. Her greatest strength—and weakness—is her tenacity. As a former news reporter, that aspect of her personality got her stories and interviews which were denied to others, simply due to her insistence. As a heroine, her stubbornness in taking down villains is reinforced by the fact that she knows she’s going to die soon anyway. She does not open up well to others, not wanting to cause anyone grief when she eventually passes away. Despite this, on the inside she is very compassionate and has an idealistic desire to protect everyone for as long as she can. History: Sara Neilson was a prominent news reporter, known for her to-the-point questions and professional attitude. Her career came to a screeching halt the day she was doing a story on unsafe working conditions of a local nuclear power plant. The plant suffered a meltdown, killing most people inside and grievously wounding the others. At the hospital, it was revealed that the radiation had changed Sara on a molecular level, and the new mutations were predicted to be fatal. The doctors were correct, but had not predicted the new powers that Sara would gain in the process. Since that day she has donned the identity "Nova", trying to make the world a safer place while she still can. The part you took in the great war: Nova joined in the fight somewhat late, and was frequently moved from team to team as needed. Due to the flexibility of her powers, she could act as a frontline fighter, rear support, or at a pinch, reconnaissance. The whole time she did not talk much or form very close bonds with anyone due to her short lifespan, which again made her a good candidate for relocation. Profile Accepted

CHARACTER IDENTITY Username: Saint Attila Public Name: Quickdraw Real Name: Joseph D. Banks Gender: Male Age: 29 Weight: 190 Height: 6' 2"
CHARACTER POWERS Strengths: Super speed, and the endurance his suit gives him. Weaknesses: Anything he can trip on, and bad movies Origin Archetype: Science
Power Modifiers: Use the following four fields to identify how your powers and/or devices are used in each situation: Attack: Sub/Supersonic speed punches and kicks, or sword strikes/bat swings/spear stabs/whatever he's got in his hands. Defense: It's hard to hit something moving at mach one. Transport: Running around at the speed of sound. Other: It is impossible for him to reach mach one out of his suit, he'd tear himself apart without it. Device List: Without his specially made suit, he would rip himself apart when running. This keeps him from injuring himself when moving at high speeds. He also carries around an ACR Assault Rifle, as well as a few extra magazines.
CHARACTER INTERACTION Hero or Villain: Hero Group Affiliation: League of Tactical Heroes Appearance: Out of his suit, Joseph has brown hair, brown eyes, slightly tanned skin, muscular. Usually wearing a white or gray t-shirt and jeans. His suit is mostly blue, with several white and blue accents here and there. Personality: A bit introverted, Joseph is quiet and mild mannered, a nice guy of the highest level. When he gets excited, like when he is fighting, he pulls a total 180 and becomes brash, loud, arrogant. He constantly taunts and insults his enemies, all while staying ten steps ahead of them, literally. History: Joseph used to be a part of the US Marine Corps, and was currently in his second tour when he was given an order to return to the states. As soon as his feet touched American soil, he was immediately whisked away to DC, and to a secret laboratory of sorts underneath the Pentagon. There, he was told that he was going to be part of a 'super soldier' program. He was the first test subject. He had been chosen due to his stellar performance during his first tour. Joseph reluctantly consented to the experimentation.
Four days later, when he awoke from a coma of sorts, Joseph found that he had gained the powers of super speed. He was then given his suit and put through extensive training in the laboratory. A good five weeks passed before the experiment was deemed a success. He was then placed on another team of 'super soldiers'. He was given an ACR Assault Rifle and told to fight this new threat that was plaguing the US. A villain by the name of "Positron" and his own army. Joseph's squad successfully fought off several attacks and gained some fame around the southern areas of the US, where Joseph is originally from. Shortly after that, his squad was disbanded. Joseph joined the League of Tactical Heroes soon after. The part you took in the great war: Joseph joined the war near the middle of its duration.

CHARACTER IDENTITY Username: Dusk001 Public Name: Hotbox Real Name: Charles Goldburg Gender: Male Age: 28 Weight: 121kg Height: 5' 10" CHARACTER POWERS Strengths: Thermal Manipulation: Hotbox can manipulate any form of heat, increasing it until it becomes visible heat energy. Flames, fireballs, waves of fire, all these can Hotbox conjur.
Sauna Skin: Hotbox can withstand incredible temperatures, ranging up to eight thousand degrees Celcius. Weaknesses: Hotbox is still vunerable to anything a normal human is. Poison, bullets, pressure. Falling into volcanoes, too. Also, Hotbox can only control a certain amount of heat at a time. If he tries to exploit or absorb too much, he'll either die like a normal human, or explode.
Power Modifiers: Use the following four fields to identify how your powers and/or devices are used in each situation: Attack: Hotbox uses his heat manipulation to fry his opponents with various types of firey attacks.
Defense: Hotbox has little defense other than his armour, and attempting to melt down any attack aimed at him. Transport: Hotbox can't use his abilities to travel in any faster way. Other: N/A Device List: Thermo-suit. Hotbox's suit mediates his energy intake and output, and also boosts his muscles and nervous system to increase his strength, endurance, and senses. The suit itself is made of a titanium alloy, that is flexible enough to move easily in, yet tough enough to withstand some rather tough attacks. However, as it is electrically powered, a good EMP will shut it down.
CHARACTER INTERACTION Hero or Villain: Hero Group Affiliation: None at intro. Appearance: Thermosuit: Personality: Hotbox has a temper that contradicts his ability. He is rather long-tempered, withdrawn unto himself and socially awkward. He is something of a loner, and has a slight superiority complex, and often can't accept defeat, fighting stubbornly until he cannot. Hotbox is, however, quite intelligent, maintaining his suit by himself. He will act warm to get people to leave him alone, but can be cutting and insultive when irritated. History: Hotbox, or rather, Charles, was born in Ireland, as did many of his ancestors. He was moved to the West Coast as a baby, volunteered, for money, by his parents to take part in some kind of DNA experiment. The offical story was that they were trying to crack the genetic code of cancer, but really they were testing serums and other methods of giving people with certain genetic markers superpowers. Whether they succeeded or failed, each and every test subject went insane due to their DNA being tweaked out so much. Intense therapy was required for those who survived the suicide attempts or who became sadistic killers. Charles was a suicidee saved by his attendant who gave him his monthly injections. No compassion, merely a wish to not lose another successful specimen.
For eight years of his life, Charles was imprisoned in the facility while his shattered mind and body recovered and adapted to their new state. No matter what spin they put on it, Charles was painfully aware that he was a freak, and reconciled to live as such for the rest of his life. When his powers manifested, he and two others whose manifested at the same time escaped. As they tried to escape, one was brought down by tranquillizer darts, while Charles and his remaining compadre took out the guards. Charles boiled the blood of one man, basically burning him alive in his own skin. Then they ran. After vowing to keep each other a secret, Charles and the other escapee parted ways and attempted to live out normal lives.
Both, it seemed, were taken into foster homes, and passed through many hands. Charles, on his sixteenth birhtday, moved into his own place, and began a college degree. Once Positron began his tour of destruction, Charles kept his identity quiet lest both the warring sides tried to recruit him. After some months of atrocities commited by both sides, the League of Conquerors reached the town in which Charles was living. Feeling bound by his powers to the duty of saving the town, Charles took on his identity as Hotbox, used his mechanical engineering degree from college and a unwitting man's palmed bank card to build a suit to protect and aid him. Now the aftermath of the war is over, another seems on the horizon, and this time, Hotbox has decided to stand with The Strategist.
The part you took in the great war: Hotbox was a freelancer, looking out for himself, and nobody else. However, towards the end, as Positron's crimes rose in cruelty, Hotbox fought whenever he could, by himself, against the League's agents.

CHARACTER IDENTITY Username: Hystoriwr Public Name: Edger Smirnov Gender: Male Age: 19 Weight: 150 Height: 5'11"
CHARACTER POWERS Strengths: Edger's abilities lie solely in his creative and inventive talents. And trust me, he has plenty of that. Weaknesses: Edger is only human. He's as mortal as any other human, so he tends to hide away in his workshop instead of fighting. Origin Archetype: Technology: Edger's own tendency to create and build are most likely the only thing that allowed him to join the Strategist's forces. Power Modifiers: Attack: Usually a wrench. Really, he isn't much of a fighter. Most things he creates are designed to be used by others, not himself. Defense: Usually...his workshop. Which happens to be in Tactician's Tower. Transport: Edger avoids leaving his workshop, but, if push come to shove, he walks. Other: He's on the verge of creating a patch that utilizes the thermite reaction for some purpose. Device List: Throughout the story, Edger will be creating devices that will be edited here when they are approved. No, he will not simply pull a gadget out of nowhere when he needs one. No, he is not a modern Macgyver. He will create nearly all of his inventions systematically, during the RP.
CHARACTER INTERACTION Hero or Villain: Hero...ish. Group Affiliation: League of Tactical Heroes Appearance: Edger is moderately tall, and, through years of holing himself up in his workshop, has developed unusually pale skin and almost no body fat. His hair might have been black at one point, but is stained a dirty gray with dust and soot. He is constantly covered in smudges of oil and grease, which seems to fit his dark brown eyes. He mostly wears thick, baggy jeans to protect him from small sparks, and a sleeveless black shirt riddled with burn holes. He claims he wears it for maneuverability. He has an odd posture of constantly squinting his eyes and hunching forward as a result of sitting at a table for endless hours, in a darkly lit room. Personality: Frankly speaking, Edger is horrible with words. He avoids most social situations, and is blunt and quick to the point in his speech. Usually, the only times most people see him is when he calls them into his workshop to try something on or to experiment. He partially envies the abilities of those around him, and despises the term "psychic" in every way. History: Edger was...a weird one in his childhood days. He was obviously capable of passing any of his peers in school, yet he despised the thought. He moved away from his parents at the normal age of 18, when they could no longer force him to deal with his distractions. At that point, he had already been working in his basement, shunning any social life around him and only leaving for supplies or food. Now, the problem expanded. He had little money, no food, no home, and only the clothes on his back. He no longer had access to his old workshop. His mind raced over ideas like wildfire, those that he could help the world with, while his body slowly deteriorated. It was at this point that Positron's little escapade had taken effect, taking over his hometown and killing anyone that refused to aid them. He learned of the opposing force, Strategist, and joined his ranks buy buying his way in with promises of weapons and technology. Not empty promises, but he might have exaggerated on the little details. He has been part of Tactician's tower ever since, where he has been granted his own workshop and access to multitudes of supplies for his inventions.

CHARACTER IDENTITYUsername: Nxegex Public Name: Slingshot Kid Real Name: Jeremy Tanner Gender: Male Age: Eleven Weight: 82, approx Height: 5' CHARACTER POWERSStrengths: High agility, and some gymnastics skills Weaknesses: He's a kid. Not completely strong or anything. Origin Archetype: Natural/Technology Device List: Slingshot: A Lightweight metal slingshot that he has, the rubber won't snap apart, and the Metal wont break on the handle. Nicknamed it "Trusty." The Band is enhanced, allowing ammo to fire at distances up to 120 Yards Trusty's ammo: Spherical shaped bouncy balls that can have different effects based on a timer, or on impact. Many different types. Aqua ball: Contains a compressed half-gallon of water inside that tiny sphere. Pretty useful for drenching opponents, or putting out fires. Works on timer or Impact Sticky Ball: Ball that splatters into instant-dry rubber cement upon Impact. Very useful for, say, sticking a bad guy to a wall? Fireball: Ball that ignites into flames after leaving the slingshot. Tends to bounce around, igniting several objects before extinguishing. Smoky: The old ninja-smoke trick. Creates a dense smoke cloud, obscuring vision and allowing for quick escapes. Boom: A Ball with a yellow happy face on it. Creates 4-foot explosion on a timer. Magical Magnet: a Heavy metal ball that gives off an electric charge when activated, making it a supermagnet. Arrowball: A ball that, when activated and fired at high velocity, folds and sharpens into an arrowhead shape. Split: A Ball that splits off into four different parts when fired. Has effect of Sticky ball. 8-ball: Whenever someone asks to try out his slingshot, he gives them one of these for ammo. They're a little heavy, and are a random selection of any one of his other ammo balls with increased effect. (I.E.; Sticky ball=more splatter, fireball=longer duration, Aqua ball=more water)
Barrier Shield: Device given to him by the LoTH that prevents anyone with direct-altering devices or mutations to attack him with those. (Direct-altering= Mind control, blood boiling, etc.)
CHARACTER INTERACTIONHero or Villain: Hero Group Affiliation: League of Tactical Heroes Appearance: Like above, except with a cheesy gold spray-painted mask over his eyes, and a short cape. Personality: Slightly Naive, believes in the old and corny heroic attributes. History: Born in small town South Carolina, he grew up reading all the old comic books. Ever since then he wanted to be a hero. His dad, who was a minor inventor of no great importance, helped him along, hoping his kid would grow out of it. In a way, the Slingshot and the various ammo were his dad's greatest achievements. Bradley has yet to grow out of his super-heroing phase, if he ever does. Sometime around or after the great war, Bradley's mother took ill and died. The father, stricken with grief, no longer had the will to invent or work. He had forgotten his son. Bradley, with a new determination to fight injustice in the world, set out to join the LoTH. The part you took in the great war: He didn't take a part, but his mother died during it. He was enamored by the concept of superheroing, and set out to join the LoTH. He's getting ready to arrive... Profile Approved
