Classes:
1) The joining of classes.
Classes can only contain up to six student, mostly so that the teacher (i.e. the crew) can keep up with who's posted when, or how much. Because of this first come first serve basis, you may only have one of your characters join a class. You can have another join another class of course since we're a smaller guild (roughly 50 members) but once we hit that 100 mark you'll only be able to have one character in one class.
This also depends on how popular the classes are.
(how to join in rule 4)
2) The making of classes.
Classes can only be made by crew members. If you have an idea for a class you think would be exceptional you can always suggest it in the suggestions thread and the crew will mull it over. But it will probably come down to who really wants to lead a class?
You may make a class when you have a certain number of credits, stated in the sticky in the main forum. But remember in creating a class you thus become the teacher and must be willing to devote time to it regularly.
3) The attendance of classes.
Every class will have two days of the week that there will be roleplaying. You can start posting whenever that time of your clock turns to said day. Some teachers may post homework that you might have to do and PM them about or other means so it is probably wise to post at least three times a day and to read all the posts made in said class.
It is up to the teacher of the class how they want to handle homework, attendance and whether or not to keep the student in their class. A teacher is very fair in saying "You missed a week of classes, you are done." You may not take the class seriously, but the teachers do and there may be someone who just missed filling a position in the attendance log and really wants to join the class.
4) Applying for your Class.
PM the class's teacher with an extensive application. In that application we want to know a bit about your student; a roleplay sample including them using their techniques you're taking classes on; a link to your profile thread with the students profile fully filled out; and any other information you want to share.
The teacher will either PM you back with an acceptance or a decline. It is up to the teacher whether they will tell you what they want to see in your application and let you fix it or just flat out say that you are not ready for their class.
If a class is full I beg the teachers to put the applicants name somewhere where if they have to kick a student out they can always PM the applicant back to see if they are still willing to take the spot.
