Fleshgod Apocalypse is honestly, the best Death Metal band I have ever listened to. Fleshgod Apocalypse combine Death with a Classical influence, sometimes it just sounds like a classical peice being performed by a Death band, its quite a beautiful thing. FgA are from Italy and unfortunatly their lyrics are Anti-Religion, but their music is so beautiful it makes up for it if you ask me. Plus, its awesome Death with low growls so a lot of it is hard to understand. Fleshgod Apocalypse - Embodied DeceptionFleshgod Apocalypse @ Myspace

Not bad, reminds me of Aeon and/or a beefed-up Nile. Their snare sounded weak to me, though. The classical breaks are refreshing, as I don't think I could stay interested if their entire album consisted of pure BDM.

No it didn't work. gonk I hate my neighbours, because they're all ******** alcoholics that live on government benefits for those out of work or on sick leave or whatever the ******** reason they've made up so they won't have to work and get money to booze around 24/7. emo

Mamas boy28 Ummmm what happened to "Love thy neighbor"? lol XD Well when you've been deprived from sleep involuntarily for the past 7 months thanks to all the alcoholics in the building partying all the time, you might think differently. Especially when you're actually trying to graduate from school and GTFO of that shithole.

The new Mafia EP came out not long ago, my brother's been playing it for me when I was at my parents' last night/yesterday. It sounds really good. I put the whole Oracles album on my MP3-player as well, so I can listen to it on the train when I'm travelling to school and back. In Honour of Reason is an awesome song from that album.

As I said a couple weeks ago in this guild elsewhere, I went to the Northern Decibel 2010 Tour last weekend, and this was one of the bands that preformed.
To put it simply, this band put on an amazing live performance. Their act, style, and showmanship were unmatched in my opinion. Hell, they almost out preformed Suffocation themselves, even with that epic hand thing their singer does.
Firstly, this band all dressed up since it was close to Halloween (or maybe they always do? I don't know.) they all picked zombies in these morbid looking torn-up tuxedos. And funniest of all, they all looked exactly the damn same with their masks. Every band member, perfectly identical in mask and suit. It was hilarious and amazing at the same time.
Secondly, this band sounds every bit as good on stage as they do in their recordings. I know thats an issue among many supposedly good bands (and apparently Decrepit Birth fell short in this regard) However, in total, the majority of the bands were great, and I was very glad I went. This band was still the highlight of the show though in my opinion.
