Located right behind Ryan's house was a rather large field. Filled with tall grass and reeds, the spacious area would make well for an open training ground.

Aiko followed Jubei carefully into the field, she still wasn't sure what to expect...'Either one of us is going to pount the other into the floor fast...or this is going to be close.' she thought, still showning no sign of nerves. She was simply smiling sweetly, as if she didn't know she were about to fight someone with possibly deadly skill.

She positioned herself about twenty meters from Jubei, twirling on the spot. She looked rather carefree out in the field, her hair twirling with her, forming a coil around her. After a few innocent twirls, she stops abruptly facing Jubei. Though still calm, she looks a little more serious than she did before. She thought to herself as she examined the person before her, 'Hopefully shikai won't be needed...I don't like showing that side of me...'

Aiko looked a little curious, 'Never tried that sort of training.' she thought, her eyes darting around for something suitable to use. She settled on a small rock, no bigger than her fist. She stepped over, squatted down and held it above her head with her back to Jubei.

"How's this?" she called, not even turning to look at him as she continued eyeing around for anything else in case the rock was not suitable for the task. The rock was fairly smooth, though a little uneaven. While it was smooth to the touch, it was dotted with bumps and the odd ridge.

Aiko gives a light shrug, 'what was he thinking? Surely a better option would be more suitable?' she thought. Without a second thought she stood up, turned around and tossed the rock casually to Jubei. She didn't really put much effort into the underarm throw, but the rock traveled with enough force to keep a near enough straigt tragectory, only sinking in height by a small margin as it approached Jubei. As soon as she had thrown the rock, she squatted down, facing Jubei. Her pants were clearly flexible, allowing her legs to fold easiling in a squatting position with no sign of hinderance. Aiko shivered a little, she was a little cold, unused to wearing such a revealing top. She muttered quietly to herself, not really bothered if Jubei heard or not,
"Maybe I need to get a jacket...stop myself from getting too cold..."

"I guess...only one way to find out I suppose." She smiled sweetly and begining to stretch off. It'd been a while since she had done much physical activity past the gym class at the school she attended. Her outfit certainly made it simply enough to stretch off, no sleeves, barely any back to her top and no restriction from her pants, just what she liked. She hadn't really had much practice, especially since her massive increase, so her reiatsu wasn't fully suppressed. It was much lower than it's full, but it was still noticeable to people, even with lower skill in sensing reiatsu.

Aiko crouched down again, closing her eyes and slowing her breathing. Her wrists rested gently on her thighs, her hands hanging down. She was focusing, taking the opportunity to think a little before they began. She didn't like the idea of meditating, but she did like to focus herself more. It was becoming harder and harder to stay focused after leaving her friend, three years of very close friendship was hard to let go of.

As the somewhat odd shinigami made his(her) way out of the area, Jubei would turn and reply, "Brace yourself..." After placing the stone marble into his hand, he would then, momentarily releases his hold over keeping his levels completely hidden. Which in turn had created a wave of intense spiritual pressure to sweep across the field. Any shinigami that was at a level or lower than a fifth seat would quickly be forced down during that single moment. As Jubei once again hides his levels, the pressure slowly fades and the stone marble begins to steadily pulsate with the energy of Jubei's reiatsu. The pulsating image of the energy would appear as if the stone were the size of a soft ball. But, it's true physical form was still that of a stone marble. Tossing the stone high into the air, it finds it's way towards the field's center before starting it's path back down to the earth.

It was at the beginning of the fall that, the shinigami prisoner would begin making his way towards the center. And though his movements were slower to give Aiko a head start, Jubei's speed was surprisingly fast. But, it would be Aiko's reactions that will decide the levels the prisoner would unleash upon her.

As the two made their way towards the stone, not once did Jubei take his eyes off of Aiko. In fact, it was almost as if he didn't even care for the stone. He was actually studying his opponent and all her details as she moved. Since she couldn't fully conceal her reiatsu from him, Jubei easily memorized it's signature and was now able to track all of her movements. The moment she jumped up for the stone, the shinigami prisoner stopped short...as his momentum continued to push him forward along the ground. No longer needing to look at either the stone or the female shinigami to find track them. He closes his demonic red eyes and jumps back several feet....giving him more time and room to react to Aiko's next manuevers. Within his mind, Jubei would think to himself, "So...she's stronger than a fifth seat level shinigami. Now, I'm actually curious as to what her true levels are."

With an evil smile upon his face, Jubei pushes forward towards Aiko. He let her get close to the stone on purpose, only to use a shunpo and end up directly in front of her...as she reached for the stone. If she were to look upon his face, she would notice the smile and quickly realize that he still didn't go after the stone. Jubei's plan was simply to unnerve the girl with the shunpo and try to get her to use it, as well. This was a test of speed and he wanted to know her limitations. If she didn't reach the stone in time, which she would most likely do, he planned on going on the offensive.
