Mother was still sad over his sister, lost before she could truly live. Skor could tell in her warm eyes, that trickle of sorrow that resided there. Sometimes he'd curl up next to her, not because he himself liked the feeling, but because he felt she needed the love. The assurance that he was still here, as were his brothers Tada! and Cadbury. He wasn't sure if they were so attuned, but he knew he was.
It didn't stop him from getting himself into trouble, even with the niggling voice in the back of his head warned him that if something happened to him, Shezaam would be heartbroken. No, it didn't stop him, or even slow him down.
He had a world to discover. And he would discover it with his maw to the ground.

Kriggertarpok squeaked in excitement as she raced away from home as fast as her little paws would carry her. Her tail wagging wildly, but set low, she scurried out from the protection of her overprotective father, Chronos, and her sister, Siorauyak. Momma was out hunting and Krigger wanted desperately to go too, but they said she was too young.
So she'd have an adventure all her own! Away from them, the nincompoops!
There was a sharp cracking sound that made her entire body jump with fright. "Wh-Wh-Who's there?" she barked out timidly, tail tucking between her thighs. Surely there wasn't a...monster...out here.
She gulped.

Skor knew exactly when he crossed the Agua Azul boundary line. He paused, looking back at his homeland territory and wondering what Pop would do if he found him gone. His ears lowered slightly, but he pressed onwards. Into nothingness land. And then a new scent pricked his nose.
He paused once more, lifting his head for the first time in an hour. Salty breezes washed over him, rippling his chocolate-hued coat. A smile rose on his lips as he meandered into that territory instead. Perhaps he'd find some other wolves to watch and be curious about. That was what he did often, afterall.
His paw came down heavy on a stick and it gave a loud crack. His head shot up as a voice trembled through the air. He peered around a tree to see a fluffy-coated female, her pelt in hues of browns and baby blues. "'Ello."

The pup across from her, peering out from behind the tree trunk, was a chocolatey brown in color, with orange markings, making him look like an oversized candy bar. Her tail began to wag and she pranced closer, then darted back shyly.
"Hello. Are you from Broken Shore?" Her head tilted to one side. He was cute...for a -boy-. She wondered if she should take him back to the den to show Sio.

Skor gave a little snort at her antics. Darting first forwards, then back, like a little deer. His stomach growled slightly. Mmm, deer.
Broken Shore? It was his turn to look confused. He'd never heard of it before now. "Is that where I'm at? Broken Shore? Assuming it's a pack name..." He stared at her for a moment, then turned away. "I followed a scent line here. That's all."
He could really use something to eat. He wasn't sure how long he'd been wandering, but the sun was getting heavy in the sky. He caught the sight of it through the bald treetops.

Kriggertarpok shook her head. He didn't know what Broken Shore was? "This is Broken Shore! See, it smells of sea water!" she bubbled, dancing closer to him. She kept her tail and head low. His were held high. Perhaps he was just used to asserting himself back where he came from?
"I'm Krigger. Kriggertarpok," she added, tossing her head slightly. Her little tail gave a wag. She leaned in just close enough to get a whiff of his fur. Yep. Definitely from somewhere else! "You wanna do something?" As friends? she wanted to add, but she kept her mouth shut.
