Lumi and Ivy made their way through the thick foliage, Lumi feeling the awful heat constrict around her, and Ivy, taking in all the lovely shades of green. The blue and green herla's seemed to be two totally different beings, and to be honest they are, Lumi being a very prim and proper young doe, and Ivy doing whatever it takes to get what she wants. And right now, Ivy wanted to get to some water, because her leaves were wilting; and not being one to take walks alone, she'd conned Lumi into going with her.

"HURRY UP! Geese, you're slower then my grandma and she's dead!" Ivy called over her shoulder as she made her way around a tree in a quick agile movement.

Lumi huffed, trying her best to keep up and still look graceful while doing it, even if Ivy was the only one around, you never do know who's watching. "Oh hush now!" she called out after a big intake of air. "Just because you're more inclined to warmer weather doesn't mean that everyone else is, and in any case, you should be happy that I decided to come along with you on your little escapade anyways, I could be back at home with Heret right now!" whether it was because Ivy had slowed down, or becuase by some grace of the powers that be Lumi had sped up, she wasn't sure, but she rammed into Ivy, nearly toppling the two of them. "WHAT IS THE MEA-" She began to shout indignantly.

Ivy snapped at Lumi and in a hushed voice let out "would you keep it down, there's someone out there!"

Lumi peered around Ivy at the deer off in the distance, her head ducked when it looked back at them and she brought it up slowly to look back at the deer who'd gone back to drinking, and then looked at Ivy. "Do you think they saw us?"

Ivy rolled her eyes and stared dead ahead at the male, yes, that's right, she knew it was a male, she could tell any sex from any distance, she took a whiff of air to pick up his scent, aaaawe, he was still a virgin too, how quaint. ((that's right, she can smell them from a mile away)) She turned her attention back to Lumi and snickered. "Yeah, I think he did, he looked directly at me, then again, how could he not when there's only me and you around here."

Lumi narrowed her eyes and stood up fully sneering in a rather unladylike fashion. "If I weren't a lady I'd say something rather offensive right now..."


Ivy rolled her eyes and shook her head looking back at the male in front of them, he had a nice a**... then again, most of the delta deer do. She looked back down at Lumi and smirked. "Oh piss off, that's what you wanted to say isn't it?" She laughed. "Like I really give a s**t."

Lumi's eyes widened in shock. "DON'T USE THAT SORT OF LANGUAGE! What if he hears you! What will he think? What kind of company will he think I keep? My goodness, quite the impression we've made and we haven't even met him yet!!!" She hung her head in shame.

Ivy shook her head and shoved at Lumi's side with her own. "Of for the love of- just shut the hell up, he probably can't even hear us."

Lumi blushed and hid her head behind Ivy's she couldn't beleive he'd been listening to them, oh no! She felt SO embarrassed, she suddenly wished that Ivy really could control the plants and earth so that she could make a sudden rip in the ground to suck them both into it.


Ivy looked back at Lumi as she hid her head, she felt a sudden moment of pity for her and decided to engage the buck in conversation. "Uh-huh, you did hear us? Did you? Well at least your ears work, but tell me," She smiled in a provocative and tilted her head ever so slightly "Do you like what you see better?"


Lumi felt as if all of the air had suddenly been sucked from her lungs. "IVY!" she screeched, stepping away from ehr quickly and looking shocked out of her mind. "HOW VULGAR OF YOU!" She looked towards the now obvious male and gave an upset apologetic look. "you'll have to excuse her, she's from the city, she's not used to normal people!" She gave an apologetic smile even though on the inside she wanted to gore Ivy.

Ivy laughed slightly at Lumi's reaction and remarks. "It's true," she said, a smile on her face and in her voice, "they didn't let me out much."

Ivy raised an eyebrow enticingly at Shen, definantly a virgin, look at that blush. She heard her guardian laughing at the back of her mind but she didn't pay her any attention, she'd just gotten the slightest bit of interest back from a male, she was going into her 'use this to my advantage mode'. Strutting up to shen, her back hips swaying slightly she smiled and tried to look innocent. "Shen, nice name, like that spazz over there has already said, the names Ivy." She stopped along side him and leaned over to the fabric that fell alongside his head and got a little closer than she should have to his ear. "nice to meet you." she said in a low voice before continuing to walk over to the water.

Lumi stared after Ivy, anger rolling in her stomach, she shouldn't do that to every person she meets, it just isn't right, playing with a herla's emotion like that! Huffing a frustrated breath out and trying to control her temper she sneered slightly, but quickly removed it from her features, replacing it with a look of non-interest as if she didn't even care what Ivy had just done. "Trust me Shen, you really don't want to go there... She may look appealing to the eyes, but she's toxic to the touch."

Ivy smiled as her ears twitched as she listened to Lumi. "Don't pay attention to her Shen, there's no one else like me in the city. I'm one of a kind."

Ivy smirked and stepped into the water daintily happy to see a bed of rocks instead of disgusting mud, she lowered herself until she was laying so that the water could wash over her plants, she'd stay like that for a few minutes and then stand back up. but right now, the water felt nice, cool, but not cold. She tried flipping her hair out of her eye but to no avail.

Lumi looked over at Shen when he said that they weren't sisters. "Ha, I should hope not. I think the elders would have shunned her at a very early age." She looked over at Ivy and decided to join her, not knowing how to react with this new male around. She lowered her head and took a sip of the water, feeling immensely better.


"shows how much you know..." Ivy said as she lifted herself up from the water. "The elders LOVED me in little group." Ivy looked at Shen over her shoulder and nodded for him to come and join them. "Now where are your manners Lumi, leaving Shen out in the cold like that."

Ivy smiled and flicked her tail at Shen. "No, actually I don't have any thank you for pointing out the obvious." She smiled at him in her best temptress smile. "but then again, maybe you'd like to find out for yourself hmm?"

Lumi looked up, mid sip and head butted at Ivy, knocking ivy off of her feet slightly and making her stumble over slightly and into Shen... in hind sight, Lumi probably shouldn't have done that it gave Ivy an opportunity to play the damsel in distress.

"AH!" Ivy called out pathetically as she allowed herself to trip over herself and into Shen. She looked up at him pathetically. "You see how mean she is to me? She calls me dangerous and then she pushes me!!" She sniffled and turned her head away from Shen to look down pathetically.

Lumi shook her head. "you're unbelievable sometimes you know that."

Lumi shook her head. "No, it's true, I pushed her on purpose, She knows I don't like her acting this way." She didn't care what this male though about her anymore, obviously he was one of the bad ones. She shook her head and stuck it back down to take a sip of water. The more she was around with Ivy, the more she understood why Ivy said that all men were so easy to manipulate.

Ivy smiled evilly on the inside as Shen nuzzled into her. Hook line and sinker. "And to think," she said, trying her best to make her voice sound quavery as she buried her head into the fabric hanging from Shen's head. "that's my best friend."

Lumi sighed and rolled her eyes, lifting her head to stare at Ivy as Icily as she could. "Stop acting this way Ivy, No one believes it. And if Shen here does, well then, shame on you for tricking him."
