Machotekeza bid Shirin a fond farewell as she left her den. The serval female was a good friend who slept in the hollow at the base of a nearby tree and had woken when she heard the lioness go out. Just as Siasa had woken such a long time ago on a moonlit night like this and ended up coming with me, Cho thought, as she wandered away from her den site. She would return by morning. It seemed like moonlit nights like this had made her restless since she was a cub, which until now she hadn't looked back. Strange.
She walked out to where there was a sea of long dusky grass, silvered by the moon above. Cho loved nights like this. Everything felt so....electric and alive! It was good, peaceful, and enjoyable.

She hadn't been able to sleep and had eventually wandered away from where the rest of her family was resting happily. Restless mind and restless paws. Her brother had been twitching slightly and she figured he was having another of his weird dreams again. She'd have to ask him about it in the morning.
For now she wandered out into the night to enjoy the quiet and the low hum of insects. She figured she would be the only one awake this time of night and was eventually surprised to see another shape moving about. It was late, and quiet. It looked like someone else her age too.

"Hello!" Cho was hardly a wall flower. She was quick to both notice another female was about and to decide to go over to greet them. She wasn't Earth Clan...which meant she was either a newcomer or someone from another Clan that Cho hadn't met yet. Either was fine by Cho! She was in a good mood, ears up and tail twitching happily.
"Gooorgeous night, isn't it?" She smiled. It was easy to see by the moonlight that the girl had dots like her own under her eyes. Cho had no idea why she noticed odd little details like that but she did, and they amused her. Eyedots. Huh. Neat. Having something in common with someone was a neat thing.

"hi." She smiled as the other female greeted her. It was nice to get such a friendly greeting from the first lion she'd met in the pride, besides the older one that welcomed the family when they had come.
"It is, must be why i couldn't sleep. Someone wanted me to see it." She laughed softly. It was one of those nights that was worth staying up to see.

"Maybe the moon? I always feel like it's the moon that makes me stay up on nights like this - like it tugs at my blood the way it tugs the ocean tides." She hummed as softly as one of the night insects for a moment thoughtfully. The moon often brought out the hidden in everyone from what she'd heard. Full moons especially. Perhaps that was why the two of them were still up tonight, and most of the rest of the pride slept. A treasure, it was.
"I'm Machotekeza but you can call me Cho. Earth Clan. I don't think I've seen you around...?" She said the question in the way that asked for a name to be supplied. Hopefully it wouldn't seem rude.

"Never really paid all that much attention to the moon." She looked up at it for a moment. It was just up there and it changed and made it hard to see at night some times.
"I'm Mng'Arizia, my family calls me Arizia though." She smiled. "I think i'm from the Wolf clan ... we just moved here so i'm not really sure." She'd have to remember that.

" Nice to meet you! I moved here - well thankfully stumbled across here - when I was a cub. Me and my brother Siasa." She chatted. "It can be a lot to take in to start with all the clans and traditions and things but this a wonderful pride."
The dark brown female sat down and curled her tail about herself, since she reckoned she'd be here for a while. Funny really considering she felt like she had enough energy to run to that ol' moon and back tonight. Best to play it safe. She could try again tomorrow night.

"My family just settled here. I think my dad's having trouble adjusting but it does seem like a really nice." She nodded and smiled. "I really like how open it is and now nice everyone seems."
She'd only met two so far but they'd both been nice so that was enough for her to make a decision that everyone was nice here.

"Oh yes, everyone is pretty nice here. I mean some can be a bit interesting...but still nice. So long as you're okay with having a bit of fun every now and then." She thought of Chepi here, who like Cho herself was more of a leader than a follower in general though Cho deferred to Chepi. Just as well too, else there'd have been hell to pay. Could have been squabbles aplenty and Earth Clan had enough of those over a certain little hare.

"Everything can't be happy and perfect all the time." She laughed softly. It wouldn't really be life if it was even if she hated it when things went wrong. "I would think personalities would clash too some times"
She got in arguments with her brother occasionally but she thought most of that was because he was still overly preoccupied with their missing sibling. She knew eventually he'd come home. She just had to keep thinking that.
Quickly it hit her that she had been away from her parents for a while. "Um .. i'm sorry. I should get back. They'll miss me if i'm gone too long." She grinned brightly. "Daddy gets mad if we wander off without telling him some times." With that she nodded her head to the other and padded back toward her family
