Noelani had spent the better part of the day catching up on much needed training. After taking a long shower she returned to HQ in search of someone she often spent her time with. Finding him sprawled out on the couch she giggled sidling up to him with quite steps as she knelt down and began scratching behind his ears, waiting for the usual purr that came with it.
Though as she was doing this she was also waiting for another such Hyte who she had left a note with a bowl of berries in the fridge a few days ago. After training him so long ago Hunter had taken off on his own. Whether or now he though she were worthy enough to train him was not her concern but once she took a charge she took it seriously. That boy had another thing coming if he planned to skip out on his training without a valid reason. She'd see to it.

Seth stirred slightly as Noe scratched his head, a soft purring starting as he slept on. After about a minute however he began to come to. When he realized he was purring he immediately stopped and flushed a little. "Hello, Noe," he greeted, slightly embarrassed. Must she always do that to me when I'm sleeping? It didn't really matter all that much though. He was just happy that the kuppy was around. "Long day?"

Noelani giggled giving the cheetah a kiss on his nose, watching him blush from her attention of him. "I can't help doing that you're so adorable when you purr." Smiling she sat up poking him in the side playfully. "Not really a long day just productive. I'm waiting for Hunter to get here so I can scold him for neglecting his training. That little brat." Nuzzling next to him she looked off randomly with a stretch and a yawn. "How are you doing?"

"I'm doing alright," Seth replied, sitting up as well and stretching a bit. "Better now that you're here though." He smiled and wrapped his arms lovingly around Noe, pulling her to him. "You know, if you're going to make me purr then perhaps I should get you to purr back," he said teasingly into her ear, reaching up a paw to start playing with he hair. "It's only fair, no?" Besides, she was quite cute when she purred.

Hunter knew Noe would have a thing or two to say to him. He’d been rather preoccupied with ‘teenage’ things like being awesome and going out with fishy boys. As far as training had been concerned, it had been pushed to the midnight hours when he would practice alone. The raccoon Hyte yawned lazily as he strolled into the main room. “Okay, I’m here...” He came up short upon finding the two Hytes cuddled on the couch.
Well, of course he’d already heard it going around; others giggling about how cute Seth and Noe were. He really didn’t care, though Noe’s taste in men clearly was rather... crap. Ever since being a baby he’d held a dislike for the Cheetah that he could hardly explain. Hunter wrinkled his nose in disgust and crossed his arms over his chest, feeling a growing annoyance and a tightening in his gut as he watched them.
“Hey.”

Seth glanced over at the raccoon Hyte when the two of them were addressed. "Hello, Hunter," he greeted casually, continuing to play with Noe's hair. He hadn't seen the teen in a little while now, but he didn't exactly mind the absence. It wasn't as if the two of them got along that well anyway. Still, he at least tried to be civil. "Long time no see."

Noe giggled letting her hair be played with. She didn't mind so much in purring it was part of her nature as well to which she couldn't help purring when he began playing with her hair. Closing her eyes she smiled delightfully using the time to wait for her charge. And like clockwork the annoyed little raccoon had come into play. "You know Hunter I'm very disappointed in you... I thought you wanted to become a ... I thought..." Sitting up abruptly she just went silent staring. "He didn't..." She let out under her breath. Whatever was running through her mind it was becoming all jumbled up. Dyre left, that much was certain. She couldn't feel any trace of him not one bit and yet; looking at Hunter the resemblance was so uncanny.
The eyes, his hair right down to his tail... almost a complete copy except his attitude was a little on the sour side but... well that was to be expected he was still young. "I had finally.. I was...so close..." Standing to her feet she turned away, a sudden feeling of pain washing over her as she went to the kitchen - anywhere to be alone. Leaving Seth and Hunter to their own devices she didn't want to look at Hunter and couldn't begin to explain things to Seth. This was awkward, why did he have to look like that guy?

“I’ve been avoiding you.” Hunter answered Seth bluntly. “I don’t like you.” He’d never been the kinda fellow to beat around the bush... and right now he was not in a good mood at all. Seeing the two together was... it was like fire in his belly. Even if he felt no romantic connection to Noelani, only holding respect for her as a fellow hunter, the urge to tear Seth into a thousand pieces was remarkably strong.
As he watched her body seemed to slump, the look in her eyes haunted. Had looking at him done that? Hunter hissed under his breath, body tensing as she turned away muttering to herself. What on earth? As she walked away he moved forward and then stopped as she exited the room. There was a silence before Hunter turned a murderous gaze to Seth, giving an almost feral growl.

"Fair enough," the cheetah Hyte replied with a casual shrug. "Can't say I'm very fond of you myself. Such is life." The abrupt attitude change that came over Noe at seeing the raccon however certainly confused him. "Noe?" he called out uncertainly, sitting up straight as she practically fled the room. He ignored the growl but cast an odd scrutinizing glance at Hunter anyway before getting up to follow after her. Sure, the guy can be a pain, but he hasn't even actually done anything yet, he thought to himself, entering the kitchen. "Noelani, what's wrong?" The concern was quite evident in both his voice and expression. It wasn't normal for the kuppy to act like that.

This was starting to piss her off. After taking the time to get over her broken heart she had allowed Seth the chance and filling that empty gap. Everything was going fine, she didn't hate Seth and he was very kind to her. Every day there was something new she discovered about him but then there was Hunter.... what was she suppose to say or do for that matter?
"I'm fine!" She let out a low growl in her throat. This was not the time to pester her, not now. Maybe she'd deal with it later but that kid... did he know something? "HUNTER!" she called her voice filled with uncertain anger. "Do you know someone of the name Dyre? I warn you do not lie to me." She questioned turning to face the teen. It was the same pissed off feeling she got when he used to agitate her, damn how she wanted to rip between worlds and clobber that idiot. What did he do? Some how this was his doing, she didn't know how or why but instincts spoke in volumes. "Well?" she pushed trying to quail her anger, this wasn't Hunter's fault but even so she couldn't help feeling hurt and angry. If this was some kind of joke both he and that idiot would pay severely for it.

Dyre? Where'd that come from? Well, that partially explained why she was so angry, but Seth still wasn't entirely sure how Dyre had anything to do with Hunter. The cheetah Hyte stood off to the side a bit, waiting along with Noe for the raccoon teen's response. Perhaps he could figure a few things out by just listening in. Noe would probably bite his head off if he tried to interject anything now anyway.

The raccoon followed Seth into the kitchen, intent on being a looming presence. He brushed against the Cheetah, as if warning him not to get too close to the kuppy. It was ridiculous but the need to protect Noe from everything and anything was overwhelming. He continued to glare at Seth until Noe’s voice startled him.
“Huh? Dyre?” He took a moment to gather himself and then gave a nonchalant shrug. “Nuh. I’ve heard people mention the name before but why would I care? Doesn’t mean anything to me.” Hunter took a small step forward. “I think you need some fresh air.”

Seth arched a brow at the death glare he had been receiving from Hunter. What was his deal? Sure, he got that he didn't like him, but still, this was a bit much. Hmm, almost reminds me of the looks he used to give me when I would talk to Haevan. Wait, did that mean he was being possessive of Noe? His eyes narrowed a bit at the thought. If he starts any crap then he has another thing coming.
His tail flicked lightly as he listened to Hunter's casual response. It made sense that he didn't know this Dyre guy either, for Dyre had been before both of their times. Why would Noe associate the two of them though? This bothered Seth just a little. And while he may have agreed with Noe needing some fresh air, he somehow didn't think that she would be very welcome to the suggestion. Then again, he could always be wrong.

This time she hissed at Hunter's suggestion. She neither wanted nor needed any such thing. Right now she needed answers and the raccoon would not have them. Sighing she sat down looking at both hytes before rolling her eyes. "I give up whatever..." at least for now there was little more she could do. Hunter wasn't aware of his uncanny looks and Seth didn't understand her anger toward the situation. Explaining this would take a long time but it was better left for another time.
"I have a headache... just leave me alone." She breathed, "Both of you." That was all she needed really no point dragging this all out. "Hunter... I expect to see you in the morning for training." It was not a request but she left it at that glaring at them both.

To say that Seth was surprised by the glare from Noe would be an understatement. He frowned at her request, but nodded and turned to leave. "Call me if you need anything," he said quietly, heading back over to the couch. He sat down and picked up his abandoned ipod, looking through his playlists for something appropriate. Damn raccoon. Everything was going just fine till he showed up. The cheetah Hyte couldn't help but cast a glare his way as he picked out a song to listen to and hit 'play'.
