I've been really, really bored lately so I've decided to pick up on one of my good old Final Fantasy games.
But I can't pick which. D=
Who wants to pick for me? =D
I have:
I
II
III
Dirge Of Cerberus
Crisis Core
VIII
IX
X
X-2
XII
Tactics
and Tactics:War Of The Lions
and if you count them
KH1 & 2 + Chain Of Memories on GBA
Someone please help me choose!!!

I say go with one you haven't finished yet. I'd personally go with VIII or IX, but whatever you pick, don't you dare stop until you've beaten it!

Go for the FFVIII and finish it. That is a nice one. But it hard to say from the rest of those... I have few too many unfinished on my shelf too (fact that my honey used our TV as a comp screen reduced my gaming a lot).

Um, yeah... Good point. I guess I shouldn't berate people for not finishing games when I've only finished a few myself. sweatdrop

If you're gonna do one you haven't finished, do XII. If not, do X. That one's pretty short, easy, and fun.

Of all the ones that I have/played, the only ones I haven't finished are V and XII.

at this point then the ones i really wana play are:
10 iv technically beaten in that my sister was too lazy to do the last fight herself and i did see the ending but i missed everything from getting to zanarkand to killing jecht and yu yevon
8 i got to the last boss in that weird palace but then i lost my memory card
9 i only got to the meeting cid the bouncing orange bug king thingy
dirge of cerberus i got to fighting nero the sable
crisis core i got to the depths of judgement
and 12 but its soooo freakin long and i always do all the side things and im still just in that snowy mountain place
so wat should i take from that?

X. XII is good, but long, CC is really good, but really nothing happens from now on that you couldn't guess from playing VII, DoC wasn't that great (or so I thought), and I haven't finished IX (because my goddam PS2 has stopped playing anything other than PS2 games stressed ) and never played VIII.

I just... really have to say that I can't stand it when people play/watch/ etc. everything in the VII Compilation... except VII. Thus, I too suggest not going for Crisis Core or Dirge of Cerberus. Again, my personal favorites are VIII and IX, but X sounds like a good option from what you've said.

I played and finished all of those games (except Tactics : Wars of the Lions) and i would recommend to play :
Crisis Core and then Dirge of Cerberus (the story is kinda linked, and you go "oh, so that's why". that is if you get the special ending in DoC) or vice versa
Play IX for laughs, i kinda thought it was cute.
Then play, X or VIII
At last play XII if you REALLY want to, honestly i thought the story sucked. I mostly did the Hunts thing and when i went to beat the final boss it was so easy !
Well, you're the one to choose in the end, so be ready to put a lot of hours playing those games smile

Tactics War of the Lions would be a last choice for me because you have load times when they cast spells, and half the time the cutscenes they put in the game freeze and it has to load. A really bad port if you ask me. Only way I got it to work at full speed was to play it as an ISO. Glad I hacked my psp. ^_^
But yeah, go and play VIII. Super awesome story, and I love collecting all the GFs

no idea wat an ISO is and if i didnt already say it here I have played 7 just havent beaten it cus sadly I traded it T^T
big mistake
I think im gonna try to finish 10 since im already at the calm lands on my last save but wel c
i got a new Tales Of game so im gonna finish that first lol

Oh, I love the Tales games. Played Symphonia and Abyss all the way through. Want to play Vesperia but there is a discrepancy with the Xbox I'm supposed to get........ been waiting 3 months. Bleh.....
Which one were you playing?
