 Arduinna was making a daisy chain. She had been so lonely recently. Her mother was off with the younger ones and her dad was busy with the other half. Plus she was getting pressure from the herd to find a mate to spread Epona's lineage. It was tiring enough as it was. Perhaps she could end up with one, but yet it was so hard. None seemed to find her as attractive. Her beauty more consisted of internal then external.

 Aurelius was out wandering around the Valley. He was quite bored and was unexpectedly lonely. He's brother was so self-absorbed that he wasn't good company. Other than the other ponies in his herd he had no friends. Sighing he looked up and made a goal, to make a friend.
Moving on and feeling better, he noticed someone up ahead. The sunlight caught the female's yellow mane and white patches on her green coat. "Hello there lady." He called out as he approached, "Fine day today isn't?"

Arduinna was almost finished with her daisy chain until she caught sight of another pony nearby. "Hi," she cheerfully stated. "Yes it is sir..." She trailed off for a moment. She looked harder at him and found him to be quite charming, but didn't say anything since it wasn't lady like of her.
Arduinna gasped then. "Oh my goodness. Pardon my manners." She coughed a bit before lightly bowing to him. "My name is Arduinna. The first daughter of Epona and supposedly the next heir to Seiphira's herd."

Aurelius chuckled at Arduinna. "Pleasure to meet you Arduinna." He said bowing, "I'm Aurelius, son of Kamal.... and I don't know what my standing is in my herd." He smiled and shook his head. "So what is a beautiful lady like yourself doing out here? Besides making a daisy chain..... You know those flowers are quite small for something like that." He said tilting his head, "Would you like something bigger?"

Arduinna laughed a bit. "I guess, but I'm not that useful as much in my herd. Ever since Xena grew up I'm more of just the next one to be forced into mateship with another guy." She sighed a bit. "I don't mind, but I wish the owner wasn't so harsh with it." She paused for a second. "I'm sure you don't want to hear about that though."
Arduinna sighed deeply. Here she had spoken her troubles to a male who probably would find her strange for coming off like that where around the area most ponies had a thing for the word mates. Sometimes it was positive and sometimes it was extremely negative.
She then looked back at him. "Something bigger?"

Aurelius listened to Arduinna while nodding. "Yes my owner has been thinking about finding mates for several of us in the herd. I don't think it's really fair because who knows when we'll find the one just for us." He said with a sigh, "I don't want to be forced into a relationship. I want to find my own." He shook his head. "It's alright. It probably made you feel better to talk about it."
"Yes. I can..... I can make the daisies bigger for you if you want." He said bowing his head embarrassed.

Arduinna cocked her head to the side. "Really? That's awesome!" She smiled a bit before looking at him. "I honestly find that a neat." She nodded her head. "Yeah I can understand about the relationship issue." Arduinna picked up a flower and handed it to him. "You want one?"

Aurelius looked up when she said that his talent was neat. "You really think so?" He asked smiling, "Well here, I'll show you." He went over to a daisy that was still in the ground and focused on it growing bigger. His coat began to glow and the flower marking on him began to glow brightly. Soon the daisy began to grow as well as taking on a golden glow. "There." He said with his coat going back to it's normal color while the flower marking glowed for a few moments longer, "A nice big daisy for you." And indeed it was a big daisy, almost a foot tall.
He looked back at her with a smile and took the daisy from him. "Thank you. Daisies are nice flowers aren't they?"

Arduinna nodded her head. "Oh yes. That's a nice talent to have." She smiled happily before watching him grow the daisy. The green and white pony stared at him in wonder that he could do that. "Wow...thank you very much."
She laughed a bit before looking up at him again. "Yes...they are pretty nice. Although I like tons of other flowers as well?" She picked up the daisy before putting it next to some other flowers in her garden. "See what I mean? If you have different kinds of flowers placed in a certain area then it will appear like a colorful rainbow."

Aurelius grinned looking slightly embarrassed. "No it's not that great." He said being modest, "You're welcome. I'm glad that my talent can make someone happy."
He nodded and smiled. "I do like other flowers as well. Especially lilies. They're so pretty and there are so many different types." He said looking at the flowers in her garden, "Yes it does make it look like that. Plus it makes the surroundings look so much nicer."

Arduinna cocked her head. "Well I still think it's awesome." She then looked back at the garden. "Although there are tons of flowers that I like." She paused for a moment. "Um...what type of things do you like to do?"

Aurelius smiled. "Thanks." He said pausing to think, "Well I like flowers. I also like wandering around and reading books." He thought for a moment longer. "I also like talking to you." He said ducking his head for a moment, "Why do you like to do?"

Arduinna laughed at his last part before coming over and just lightly patting his head. "Well then I guess I'll just have to annoy you more won't I?" She paused for a second. "Well those all sound wonderful, although I also like to heal other ponies." She sighed. "I'm the healer in the herd and the only one. I think that's why they wanted me to get a mate so I could pass down the talent so it wouldn't strain my body." She shrugged. "But I don't mind if it drains me."

Aurelius laughed. "I guess so.... I doubt you'll be able to really annoy me. The only one who seems capable of doing that is my brother." He said pausing as well, "So you're a healer? That's a very useful talent there. My herd also has one healer as well. A little Breezie called Zeru. It takes a lot out of him if I remember correctly when he heals others."

Arduinna cocked her head to the side. "Really?" She giggled again. "Well maybe I should try harder." She was teasing him just for fun since she was rather enjoying herself. "Breezie? They are adorable ponies." She smiled. "They're so tiny, but with many they sure are pretty strong." Arduinna swished her tail back and forth. "I know that our breezie has two breezie babies and an earth baby."
